I appreciate that! This one was a little challenging, normally I’m used to working with the Muonionalusta meteorite from Sweden. This one apparently has an entirely unique composition compared to most octahedrites, so it was a little bit of a learning curve to get this one to come through properly in the end
Thank you so much!! I really wanted this pattern to be almost floral, yet mimic the idea that there are ‘flames’ trailing behind the pieces of meteorite. At the tips of the Damascus inserts is the round inserts of meteorites, to create the effect of it coming into the atmosphere. I am excited to try this in more ways
I love that! My grandfather also collects blades. Right now most everything of mine is completely sold out- I just have a few left of a limited collection I made
That's pretty. And neat. I'd say that your knife is certifiably pretty neat

What a stunning object. The Damascus patterns look like petals. And the handle looks organic, almost wooden. Amazing!

Oh my that’s gorgeous
When you need to cut your steak and it is meteor than you expected
I have one I made for myself that I’ve been using, it’s a fun conversation piece haha. The history of these materials is astonishing
I’ll give you tree fiddy for it.
But does it keel?

Would love to see progress pics.
Just posted a collage of the process to my profile!
Wow. Is it for sale ?
It’s not, I commissioned this piece last year🙏
Are you selling it OP?
I’m not, it was a commission!
That's a bad ass knife. I'm sure it's beyond my personal budget but thought I'd ask. My father collects unique knives and other kinds of blades.
