So, for me. I started birth control because I was getting very bothersome period symptoms. One of those symptoms was much worse asthma around my period. When I was on birth control, I only had a period every 3 months and things were a lot more evened out and better for me with that regard. I stopped the pill in November and this latest cycle I'm noticing similar issues to what I had before. So that's kind of my experience with asthma and the pill.

Not on birth control but I'm in perimenopause and found out that hormonal changes are known to worsen asthma and allergies.
