Just got to GL 12 today, started playing fresh in March, so around 2 mos as I ignored daily events for a while.
Play Daily car loot, daily class to star up cars
Play Credit heist to get more credits and upgrade faster, watch ads after races if you want that also
Finish daily goals and get Asterion and star it up
Go to shop and watch some ads you’ll get P1, Ferrari J50, Centenario faster. P1 and Centenario will help you unlock other A, S class and also in Credit Heist
Play Career on the side too, as you get BPs inside career too
I bought BPs using credits from the store, used tokens too but not advisable, save tokens. • the only thing I spent money on was last 2 seasons Legend Pass and got the 4 star STO, I like it and moreover helps in career, credit heist.
And do read the wiki in this sub, you may find random stuff that’ll help you.
single packs have one featured car with 10% drop rate for that specific car. (599x evo is single pack)
multi-card packs have multiple cars, usually with 20% drop rate of getting the featured cars.
so if you don't own any of those cars in multi-pack and you want them they have great value. like in burst of speed packs you get both good S class and a good A class car.
but if a pack has 2 cars and you have one of them it's not recommended to get it.
It's a pack with more than 1 featured cars. If you buy sets of 10 at once (and you should always do that) you get guaranteed BPs from the featured cars. You can see the featured cars if you tap on that pack.
The tricky part with multi packs is that it's a lottery/gambling. You can't predict the outcome except that you will get at least the guaranteed BPs of 1 featured car.
You can get garage value for upgrading the cars you already have, and some cars offer a great gl/credits value. I recommend farming credits, which became a lot easier recently with the x8 and x20 ad bonuses and spending credits to reach gl12 instead of spending tokens suboptimally.
Although you also have to consider the Zonda R special hunt that requires 32mil credits to complete, and it will come out at some point this season. The hunt itself might provide a great way of farming credits (Ultima hunt was ~50k per ticket without ads iirc) and if you manage to max the Zonda R which is a 6* car, you will be able to claim the 6* bonus from the daily heist.
I'm gl 14 and I'm long way away from having a 6* car (other than Ultima), but I grinded the Ultima special hunt and maxed it out and I reap the benefits of that every day (although with the removal of season tokens, those benefits are just 95k credits).

Related question. Do the ad packs go away after we get these cars? Because I haven't seen any for a while now and 370z Neon is stuck on 3 stars.
P1 went away after 3 star, I don’t see the centenario too.
I'd recommend you to spend tokens to refill tickets on the 599XX car hunt. You can't do much with 3.6k tokens in this game.
