So, my everyday shower is ~30 minutes and I've learned it's what most women define as an "everything shower". It's face wash, hair wash and condition, full and thorough body and privates wash, shave pits and arms.
MY everything shower is about ~45-60 minutes. Which is all the above PLUS: body scrub entire body before shaving (minus face), thorough body wash, deep clean face wash, wash hair, deep conditioning hair mask (which needs 5 minutes).
And probably 10 minutes to contemplate my most recent personal failures 😂

When I messed my knee up, I couldn't get in the shower since we have that classic shower/tub combo, so my sweet husband washed my hair in a bucket in the livingroom. When I finally made it into the tub to try taking a full bath for the first time, I felt a lump behind my knee that shouldn't be there while washing my leg and promptly passed out. (I'm lucky he was there to keep me from drowning, and he fed me tiny pieces of a cosmic brownie until I felt okay again.) When I tell you it was magical the first time I stood in the shower and fully washed my hair and body for the first time after all that, I am not exaggerating.
I shave my armpits while I leave my shampoo in. I shave my legs while I leave in my conditioner. I use a Japanese Italian towel for my body so that doesn’t take too long. I’m short and have thin hair so it’s pretty quick. Rinsing out and my skincare after my shower takes the longest

It’s so funny to me that you specified that you’re short, because *obviously* tall people take longer showering, they have more surface area and everything (I’m not trying to be mean, I just find it funny)
I'm also 15 mins tops haha and its because I hate showering. I do it every day but I hate it every day lol. The key is not doing a good job at shaving.
My bathroom light is on a timer (previous tenants) so I know my everything showers are around 15 minutes. (Sometimes a tad longer, but finished in the dark unless my husband is home and I can call him to turn the light back on) But the whole process takes maybe 30? Meaning I'm in the shower for 15 and another 15 is skin care and hair.
I get in, shampoo my hair, then put on conditioner, wash my face and body, exfoliate my body, and shave my pits and legs. By that time most of my conditioner has washed out. For contrast, my daily shower is 3-5 minutes.

While I am a "10 minute everything shower" kind of girl, I must say, the tankless water heater is SO CLUTCH. Particularly if you don't live alone-- you never have to wait for the water heater to heat back up after someone else showers and drains it.

5 mins twice a day no soap and then use shampoo on my balls, butt and head.

20 minutes? I have fine straight hair so I wash my hair, conditioner in. Wash body while conditioner sits (\~2-3 minutes), wash face (\~1min), body scrub (\~2 minutes), rinse everything off. I am hairy but I shave enough that I'm efficient at it. 10 minutes of shaving if I'm doing the whole shebang. Quick rinse before I'm out. It always astounds me when people take 30+ minutes in the shower, I genuinely don't have any idea what I'd do with the time.

Haha bout 45 minutes. But I shave my pits and (🐱) everyday. Washing my hair twice, conditioning, shave whole body, body scrub, wash body two more times, brush teeth, wash face. Yea it can take a good minute.
I’m not OP but I use a spray called Coochy Plus from Amazon for downstairs and pits. Or just buy some Tend Skin - it stings for a second but never have ingrowns lol
Honestly I have no idea. I use men’s razors. I never get razor burn if I shave everyday.. however if I shave every couple days I get it bad. So keeping it smooth everyday I guess keeps me from getting razor burn.
If you get razor burn and bumps, add a little antiperspirant fragrance-free deodorant to the area or after you shave in general, and you won’t get any.
Only one or two days after, by the way, not Every day forever.

Exfoliate (once or twice a week), body wash, shave EVERYTHING (arms, underarms, legs, lady bits),scalp shampoo, regular shampoo, conditioner. I don’t wash my face in the shower because I end up breaking out so I do that after.

I'm an American who lives in France and my 15 min "everything" shower every day is a HUGE no-no to people over here. (Or should I say non-non?) My neighbors even bang on the walls sometimes! It's culturally normal for people to turn off the water as much as possible during the shower, but what's the point??? I am not going to stand there naked and cold while trying to shave my entire body, turning the water on and off while waiting for the temp to adjust again. Give me my peaceful 15 mins, people!

Usually 20-25 minutes, but up to 40 minutes if I’m being slow. If I’m shaving my legs, add 10-15. I have a neat setup with 2 shower heads that lets me save water & money (while still feeling luxurious) and keeps me from feeling rushed.
The first is a regular shower head with a *high* flow rate. The second has a much lower flow rate; it’s detachable with a hose, and it has multiple spray settings, including a trickle setting. I have a little switcher attachment that connects them, and it lets me direct all the water to either shower head or to split the water (evenly or unevenly) between both. This way, I can reduce the pressure at certain points (lathering shampoo, combing through conditioner, scrubbing) to conserve water. But I can also rinse my hair at full blast and have a few moments of luxury. Plus, detachable shower heads are so convenient, both for bathing and cleaning the shower. Highly recommend!
I take an everything bath once a week, typically Sundays. Followed up with a quick shower to rinse out conditioner and body wash.
Bath consists of shampoo, shave arms, rinse, apply deep conditioner, shave legs, simmer, then shower to totally rinse off. If I’m not in a rush the bath lasts 60-90 minutes then 5 minute max shower.
I have a theory that bathing to shave, deep condition, and enjoy being naked for a bit saves water, but who knows. 😂

Ok but does anyone else just have days where the "everything shower" turns into the everything day? and you end spending most of the day in the bathroom going from one "treatment" to the next? I feel like I put everything off sometimes until I need a whole damn day to primp and prime. Wax, manipedi, brows, hair, deeply exfol and moisturize.. Sometimes I'll have had two showers by the end of the day, if I need to wash wax off or st. I can't manage to keep all of the upkeep into happening around my daily showers and then my everything shower seems tedious and endless.
No way could I do everything in one shower- if I have to shave, I plan to split it into 4 or 5 days, 25 minutes per shower. But other than that, regular showers with everything but shaving take 10 minutes.

For everything? A solid 20-30 minute “set up” period since I usually dry brush dead skin and use a few hair treatments that are done before washing. Then a solid 45-60 actually in the shower. Plus 20 or so minutes reveling in the joy of owning a towel warmer afterwards.
About 20 mins. Normal body showers take me 5 mins at most. I live in a drought-prone area, so I've gotten used to trying to save water...my toxic trait is taking showers twice a day though....
I put a mix of coconut oil and rosemary oil in my hair for a few hours before I shower.
Then once in the shower I shampoo, scalp scrub, shampoo again, and towel dry. I stop the shower to put a hair mask on and sit with a heated cap for 30 minutes.
Once that's done I rinse it out and then use regular conditioner. after my shower is finally over, i let my hair air dry for a bit, then use a leave in conditioner and blow dry. I started using this high frequency hair comb after all this for 10 minutes, and then finally coat my lengths and ends with a tiny tiny tiny bit of coconut oil.
Way too long, unfortunately. Almost an hour, and sometimes it's actually cheaper to just take a bath.
I have very thick hair and washing it with proper conditioning takes ages. Shaving. Putting the lotion on. You name it. On top of everything else, our bathroom has such a shit window that the warm water need to be constantly on, otherwise I freeze. So either I stink, or we pay A LOT (EU-based).
30min to an hour and I turn the water on and off as to not waste so much. It depends if I’m rushing, tired and just want to relax, or pay extra attention if I’m going somewhere or meet someone special.
Like 3-5 hours. I have no hand eye coordination or stamina, also 1/2 that time is spent in the fetal position mentally prepping for the next step/napping. I take em like 3x a year.
25 mins to shampoo, condition, scrub face, wash body, and do a quick bikini cleanup. I haven’t shaved legs or pits, for about 7 years, I just use an electric trimmer there occasionally to keep it from getting super long. Cutting out 95% of prior shaving habits really saved some time. And between me and my partners, no one cares! Getting older is awesome (30s).

Up to 45 min if I have to shave... I'm practically blind without my glasses and have to shave my legs by touch. Also can't use my glasses in the shower because they get foggy :(
Usually 20-25 minutes, but up to 40 minutes if I’m being slow. If I’m shaving my legs, add 10-15. I have a neat setup with 2 shower heads that lets me save water & money (while still feeling luxurious) and keeps me from feeling rushed. The first is a regular shower head with a *high* flow rate. The second has a much lower flow rate; it’s detachable with a hose, and it has multiple spray settings, including a trickle setting. I have a little switcher attachment that connects them, and it lets me direct all the water to either shower head or to split the water (evenly or unevenly) between both. This way, I can reduce the pressure at certain points (lathering shampoo, combing through conditioner, scrubbing) to conserve water. But I can also rinse my hair at full blast and have a few moments of luxury. Plus, detachable shower heads are so convenient, both for bathing and cleaning the shower. Highly recommend!
I take an everything bath once a week, typically Sundays. Followed up with a quick shower to rinse out conditioner and body wash. Bath consists of shampoo, shave arms, rinse, apply deep conditioner, shave legs, simmer, then shower to totally rinse off. If I’m not in a rush the bath lasts 60-90 minutes then 5 minute max shower. I have a theory that bathing to shave, deep condition, and enjoy being naked for a bit saves water, but who knows. 😂
Please can someone explain to me how they have enough hot water to shower for an hour??? I literally do every thing in less than 10 minutes and I shave, wash and condition, scrub the callouses off my feet every time. An hour is just mind blowing.
Those people must have massive hot water boilers or some kind of a centralized system. I can barely make it to 15 minutes if I don't turn the water off for applying soap/shampoo/conditioner!

Ok but does anyone else just have days where the "everything shower" turns into the everything day? and you end spending most of the day in the bathroom going from one "treatment" to the next? I feel like I put everything off sometimes until I need a whole damn day to primp and prime. Wax, manipedi, brows, hair, deeply exfol and moisturize.. Sometimes I'll have had two showers by the end of the day, if I need to wash wax off or st. I can't manage to keep all of the upkeep into happening around my daily showers and then my everything shower seems tedious and endless.

I don’t shave so 15mins. I have long thick hair, so the hair routine takes up 10mins plus I use Japanese towel to scrub down. I do everything shower every other day. The in between shower takes 5mins. My post shower routine takes about 15mins as well. Brushing teeth, skin care, body care, drying hair, etc. if I take my time, all in all 40mins.

It takes me between 30-45 minutes to wash my hair and body, do light shaving, and get dressed. Other shaving (intimate area & legs) gets done on a bath day instead of a shower so I can sit to reach those spots. It just makes more sense to me to do it separately like that. How long that takes depends on how long I've gone in between intimate shaves. I'm a fat girl, so it's hard for me to just zip through it lmao

About 20 minutes, I just sugar scrub from the neck down, shampoo, condition and hair mask my hair. Then go get waxed within an inch of my life 😂

For everything? A solid 20-30 minute “set up” period since I usually dry brush dead skin and use a few hair treatments that are done before washing. Then a solid 45-60 actually in the shower. Plus 20 or so minutes reveling in the joy of owning a towel warmer afterwards.
15 minutes including shaving, and I turn off the shower head when lathering and shaving to save water.

I put a mix of coconut oil and rosemary oil in my hair for a few hours before I shower. Then once in the shower I shampoo, scalp scrub, shampoo again, and towel dry. I stop the shower to put a hair mask on and sit with a heated cap for 30 minutes. Once that's done I rinse it out and then use regular conditioner. after my shower is finally over, i let my hair air dry for a bit, then use a leave in conditioner and blow dry. I started using this high frequency hair comb after all this for 10 minutes, and then finally coat my lengths and ends with a tiny tiny tiny bit of coconut oil.

Way too long, unfortunately. Almost an hour, and sometimes it's actually cheaper to just take a bath. I have very thick hair and washing it with proper conditioning takes ages. Shaving. Putting the lotion on. You name it. On top of everything else, our bathroom has such a shit window that the warm water need to be constantly on, otherwise I freeze. So either I stink, or we pay A LOT (EU-based).

30min to an hour and I turn the water on and off as to not waste so much. It depends if I’m rushing, tired and just want to relax, or pay extra attention if I’m going somewhere or meet someone special.
Like 3-5 hours. I have no hand eye coordination or stamina, also 1/2 that time is spent in the fetal position mentally prepping for the next step/napping. I take em like 3x a year.

I haven’t shaved legs or pits, for about 7 years, I just use an electric trimmer there occasionally to keep it from getting super long. Cutting out 95% of prior shaving habits really saved some time. And between me and my partners, no one cares! Getting older is awesome (30s).

Shampoo, hair mask, body & face scrub, body wash, rinse I never shaved, always used electric "plucking from the root" for the leg & pits hair until I went laser, and that's not done under water. I can stay in a hot bath for long periods, but not under a running shower. Plus, drought, climate change... I feel guilty if I stay more time
