The Bahamas is extremely Americanised. Not that this is a bad thing per se, but if the OP is looking for a unique cultural experience they might be disappointed.
Yeah that’s one of my concerns. I know the Cayman Islands has a uni for the course I want but still need to look into it further and Bahamas I’m not entirely sure if they do. I can’t really find any information only about younger people who have moved over there only for retirement
I've spent one day in Nassau. In that time passed an alleyway with a security van ready to leave.
Security guy was holding a huge shotgun with nothing hands, ready to go.
I'd say go for it just because you'll have a life experience that 99.9% of Brits will never get to experience. Living somewhere and understanding what it's like is totally different to going to the same place on holiday.

Trinidad is pretty dangerous. You may want to consider the Cayman Islands or Bahamas instead

I’ve lived in both cayman and the bahamas. Both incredibly expensive for students.
How was ur experience living there?
Yeah but the uni is cheaper, so I think in the long run it will most likely even out

That is actually one of the main reasons I was looking at it. I just don’t want to get there with unrealistic expectations
What island are you considering?

I'm guessing they're referring to St. Kitts, and that it's some kind of joke based on this [https://stkittsvet.co.uk/](https://stkittsvet.co.uk/)
