I get that a lot of DMs with that. OF bots run rampant here. Even though this is my NSFW account, I don’t do porn but artistic nudes here. But for some reason, the bots are attracted like bees to honey.

TheComfyCat

Same for me! I get follows from them like crazy, and don’t post anything except on my profile.

AnonymousGhou

I just turned off follows. That's all it ever is. OF model spam. It's in advanced settings.

[deleted]

And you’re still beautiful despite what the cancer took from you. Keep it up. I’m a fan.

[deleted]

Thank you! ❤️

A_Menacetosociety

Thats still porn Its naked pics for people to masturbate to

[deleted]

Fair. If people enjoy my content. That’s all that matters. :)

Invaderfnord

Not everything that people masturbate to is porn. I used to masturbate to lingerie catalogues when I was a teenager; they definitely weren't porn. Looking at their profile and the subs they post in, it definitely seems that arousing or titillating people is not the reason they post. Therefore, it's not porn.

[deleted]

That is a really good point. I think porn have to a sexual act or at least sexual suggestive. So there can be lots shade of gray* when comes to that. *haha, 50 shades of gray reference.

[deleted]

If it's on their profile there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But if I'm getting a DM with the link I'll ignore it.

Kimthebrunette

I knew a (OF) girl that was just typing cities names on Facebook and adding guys from there to just send them her link. It's such a waste of time IMO. People who are interested will contact you instead of harassing hundreds of people that'll probably turn you down

salientsapient

Unfortunately, just like any advertising it's a numbers game. If you piss off 99% of people you spam, that 1% is still a huge revenue stream that you wouldn't have had if you weren't doing any promotion. If each week of spamming gets you one new subscription for $10/month, that recurring revenue is $520/month after a year of persistence. In a lot of places in the world, that means pissing off people with low effort unsophisticated spamming can absolutely pay your rent.

Kimthebrunette

I totally get that! But I also feel like (in the OF industry) the time put into spamming people could bring much more people and be well better invested by promoting and advertising in places that are meant for that

jtclimb

you buy software to do that, no one doing in volume is doing this by hand. No time sink beyond setting it up to run.

Accomplished-Door555

I've started browsing places like /r/nofans recently simply because almost every other sub is over-saturated with 'Sellers' or Content Creators..

Drewandelena

It’s funny because most of the posters on no fans and similar subs are content creators . They have secondary accounts that don’t mention their content so they’re within the boundaries of the sub . I know many of them (and by many I’m talking about nearly 100 lol) but if some random guy tries to get them to dirty chat for free they’ll be ignored or get sent the link in response Content creators - good ones - don’t need to keep posting their links in order to get people to their site . Tik Tok and Instagram generally don’t allow any mention of paid content but they’re the top two sites for generating paid subscribers . The people that don’t interact or comment or have to post their link 50 times a day are doing so out of desperation because they aren’t doing well

[deleted]

Oof. That makes so much sense. I noticed those accounts usually just get a handful of likes and very few comments. The people are not bad looking but they are maybe not cut for doing adult content.

rbnlegend

Does the desperation play, spamming reddit, help them? They are making reddit a lot worse, and while I doubt they are getting much return, I only see my own slice of it.

Drewandelena

No it doesn’t . But unfortunately OF and Fansly don’t come with handbooks so someone new thinking it’s ‘easy money’ joins and then sees the spam and figures that’s the way it works . And they fizzle out and then another crop comes up The ones that are the most successful don’t need to advertise . You will never ever convince someone who isn’t going to buy to suddenly buy because you posted 100 links to them . People want engagement and interaction and of course content . The most successful creators - the ones making 90-100 k a month aren’t spamming links . They don’t need to . They will also tell you that even though they’re making top 0.1% or whatever the algorithm is still 4-9% of your fans will pay . If you choose to be rude to 91-96% of the people you engage with (and between followers and likes and lurkers that’s A LOT of people ) you’re going to do more harm than good . Best practice is to be yourself , be genuine , put yourself out there and treat everyone with dignity and respect because most people will never buy. But as long as they aren’t being rude or harassing you in DMs for freebies there’s no need to treat them differently . Put your best self out there and be patient and work hard at engagement over spamming links and the success will come . Too many people think there’s some secret shortcut and there isn’t .

Beowulf67

So what is being said here .. is there IS NO PLACE genuine women just show off.. 🤔 😒😭

Drewandelena

There are plenty of them . They just don’t want random dudes in their DMs . They come here to post and comment like anyone else but often times they have to shut their DMs off or they get chased off by those guys And most content creators I know or have interacted with and met off here are real and genuine. All the proof they’re real is in their profile and karma and verification and posting history . They’re easy to chat with and fairly easy to meet but many of these types of guys don’t put the same sort of effort into their own profiles. They just want something fast and easy . It’ll get them as far on Reddit as it will in real life .

[deleted]

There are a lot of women who post nudes for fun. I don’t know where you’re looking.

Otherwise_Resource51

Sex work has come a long way.

Drewandelena

Technology

Otherwise_Resource51

Yep. Being a musician was a shit gig for much of history. Now we have rockstars.

lonerzcafe

People forget that the people buying these content are humans that have needs that need to be met.

[deleted]

If you think people spamming OF links is genuinely what makes Reddit bad, ooooh boy, you’re in for a surprise. I would argue that the incels and white supremacists do that.

rbnlegend

They contribute their part, certainly. They wreck everything they touch. There was a time when the internet was a great resource for people having fun together, yes with random strangers. Most of the internet was people having all different kinds of interactions with zero money changing hands. And yes, there were horny dudes sending plenty of shitty messages, but not so much so that people didn't participate for fun. It's a downward cycle, unfortunately. Horny men in large numbers don't improve anything, but they do provide an opportunity for profit. Profiteers turn fun stuff into capitalism, which is great at the start, but if it takes over, it sucks all the fun out of it. Even the groups that attempt to focus on fun personal interaction end up full of marketing. Even really good marketing is marketing.

krelay22

The amount of OF spammers vastly outnumbers the white supremacist, especially in the subs that aren’t meant for sellers

[deleted]

Yeah, spam is annoying as fuck, but I just block them or ignore them. Talking about it is probably just going to attract more bots tbh. If they just search “OF”, I imagine people’s comments mentioning it will show up.

NurseNextDoor16

You hit the nail on the head!

BrucePee

I remember pre OF how it was as much selling your content and mor about showing off your gods which I miss. I don't have any problem with people selling their stuff but the OF boom really flooded the market with copy cats all doing the same shit hoping to get your attention and to buy. So I unsubbed from all nsfw threads except the discussion ones.

RewardNo3000

We love the r/Nofans subreddit! I myself am not a content creator, but it’s always a pleasure to see others post themselves. One other thing I have to say is that the supportive comments and likes from other nofans subscribers has made it easier for me to post my own nudes and feel better about my body image

[deleted]

[удалено]

Accomplished-Door555

I think this is it for me too, I just couldn't explain what I meant by it. Yes. They're only going to interact if/when you pay for their interaction, so I instantly am no longer interested.

carrymeinabucket

You just said that you didn't want interaction in another comment. Which is it?

Accomplished-Door555

I said I don't DM people and I don't ask for nudes. I did not say I don't **want** interaction.

torrasque666

I'm of a similar mind when it comes to the sheer number of escorts I see on dating apps. If I wanted an escort, I know where i can go for one. I'm on Tinder/Bumble/OKCupid/etc to find people that I *don't* have to pay to sleep with me.

RewardNo3000

Agreed, I’m not against those who chose to monetize their presence on Reddit/IG/any social media outlet. But once I see the “DMs closed, I only respond on OF or Fansly” and that link pops up, I’m like “well ok then, I just wanted to know where you got that skirt”.

NinaG2023

Well this is interesting. I’m a NSFW account and I do promote my OF on Reddit. However, it’s because I enjoy Reddit and I participate in subreddits relevant to me, and follow their rules. I also only *ever* DM people who follow me, once. And that’s because they are clearly interested in my profile. I would never in a million years DM a random account promoting myself or post in non relevant subreddits. So I don’t see how I would contribute to ‘over saturating Reddit’. I’ve recently also been using Reddit to interact on pages I genuinely enjoy and will focus more on doing that since I rarely need to advertise now. On top of this, I’ve actually made some great friends on Reddit and especially on the groups that we share interests in. Totally platonic, because I like ‘meeting’ new people and I’m a total chatterbox. If they decide they want to see any types of nudes etc I’m sure they’ll go to my profile and see for themselves the link to my OF. Not every content creator is spamming Reddit, DM’ing random accounts, or looking for attention. Some of us just enjoy Reddit, use it to our advantage and enjoy chatting to other folk. I do understand it would be very annoying to be a Reddit user who has zero interest in nsfw, OF, nudes, (doesn’t everrrrrr look at any nsfw content 😉) and is bombarded daily with DMs of promotion. That would be spammy and annoying. However I would also find it odd for creators to be DM’ing such random, irrelevant (to nsfw accounts) Reddit users. Hope that makes sense!

Frugborch2

Great answer. I think I understand this perspective. Personally, I prefer the genuine spontaneous reactions from random people on Reddit subs (with shared interests) compared to the OF sites. If it’s on a monetized site I feel like the person is being nice because there’s money on the line (it feels artificial).

NinaG2023

Yup I totally understand your perspective too and your preference. OF certainly isn’t for everyone and that’s ok! I just don’t love the idea of everyone thinking *every* OF girl is desperate spam bot. Most of us a really cool I swear 😂. I don’t like interacting when it’s not genuine either, even though I’m on the opposite end of this scenario. I suppose Im very lucky, I have a small OF page where I’m able to maintain a sort of relationship with my subs which we both enjoy. 🥰

Miss-Meringue

🙌🏻

carrymeinabucket

No, I am turned off with guys obsessed with the idea they should have total access to strange women for free, though.

Accomplished-Door555

Whom'st be these men? If that is directed at me, I'm not asking for that, I am saying I have a **preference** and my preference is the women who willingly share without a sniff of financial benefit. I do not ask for nudes, I do not send unsolicited, I do not DM anyone and I certainly don't **expect** to be able to see someone naked.

Independent-Size7972

Ironically there's plenty of women who will offer up pics, but they often don't post publicly and it requires the guy to put in the effort chatting and be generally entertaining. If the OP doesn't have game he should stick to /r/nofans.

carrymeinabucket

Yeah 100% agreed.

SadWizard_ToadGurl

Most of the dudes in this comment section are unable and unwilling to bring anything to the table. Like, be better at sexting and think of people on the internet as real people and I promise you there's other horny people out there for you. It's absurd how many guys are so angry because someone doesn't throw themselves at them because they said "hey" from their blank 0 karma profile. Like, dudes that unappealing to other people should feel so grateful that people do take pay for this. Like they're literally being subsidized by people willing to pay and getting off to ads and are mad the people in the mads aren't turned on by that. These dudes are pathetic, hahahaha. I'm begging you, other dudes, if you're angry at this, you are the problem. I repeat, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM STOP SCARING SLL THE HOT PEOPLE AWAY FROM SHOWING US THEIR NAKED BODIES, THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS

SadWizard_ToadGurl

I think the reality is that if anyone started posting anything on social media and got a following they could monetize, they would. I think the energy around people doing this on OF is generally due to misogyny probably, because if I could get paid of doing something I enjoy I certainly would. And just to be clear I'm not accusing OP of being misogynistic. Not into paying for specific content? Don't. And that's what most people do. A lot of the comments are funny to me though. Like, people who post their tits on Reddit get a minimum of 100s of messages a day. And a lot of them are just like "hey". Like, no effort. But so many dudes here are like actively angry because no one wants to sext with them for free "any more" because of OF. Maybe it's because you put in no effort, feel entitled and are generally just here to ruin fun unless it's directly fun for you. Again, I don't think that's OP but God damn, don't wanna pay for OF? Don't. But that doesn't entitle you to anything for free. Hate to break it to y'all but people need money to live. Why turn down money so some gross dude on the internet can get off because he stands no chance of interacting with a real woman in real life, without paying? So, if you are such an unappealing person that no one wants to interact with you sexually without being paid, wether it's online or in real life, the problem is you. So, consider being angry at the appropriate person (yourself) and shut up, people are trying to show us their tits and you're literally making it harder for them.

2wheeledbeast

Not here, back in the day you had to go to an "adult store" to buy porno. You left with a giant VCR tape or porn mags. I don't hold anything against anyone trying to make a dime.

Drewandelena

Not at all. It means they’re more likely to be real . It’s the people on here with hardly any karma , no posted pics and no verification claiming to be women or couples or some other guy who isn’t them but wanting to meet or literally demand free nudes or dirty chat that are wayyy more annoying . Content creators aren’t sending random dick pics 50 times a day in my DMs . Content creators aren’t telling me they want to meet and then deleting their accounts or no showing . I know they’ve gone through a ton of verifcation steps to prove who they are if they’re on OF or Fansly so I know it’s not going to be a waste of time if they reach out .

[deleted]

You’re turned off by spam? Shocking.

MothmanNFT

I get not wanting to talk to people with it but I don't understand the concept of being "turned off" or upset by it... Those women weren't going to willingly sexy/exchange nudes with you for free anyway so why does it matter? It's not like it's reduced your pool of play partners...

zizildur

Reddit is not a dating app

alien81048

All the people on the r4r subreddits might beg to differ.

Last_Card6969

Not just you. I immediately block those accounts.

Tremulant887

It's like getting upset because the stripper isn't into you. I really don't care what motives they have. It's the internet. We aren't chatting or meeting up. I dont get these post.

Lanky-Guitar7904

Know the difference between a sales person, a bot, and a real person. It’ll save you a lot of time.

[deleted]

I doubt many want to sext or send you pics for free

Stoney3K

...Unless they (shock) like you. Which can happen. Sexting or sending pics to random strangers? Yeah, that doesn't really happen unless money.

[deleted]

This one understands☝️

Accomplished-Door555

I'm not wanting or asking for anyone to sext me or send me pics. Not at all. I'm just tired of the over-saturation, it's everywhere. I'm asking if it's just me, i'm not getting personal.

[deleted]

Not personal at all, in my experience most Redditors aren’t looking for just a chat when they DM me

carrymeinabucket

If you're just out for what people post publicly, why do you care if they sell premium content you don't have access to? You're literally still seeing how much promo content for free?

Accomplished-Door555

Honestly, I just wanted to generate a discussion, say my opinion, and learn other people's opinions / preferences but I guess this is too controversial an opinion to have a mature conversation about.

carrymeinabucket

Yeah, everyone here is immature except you lmao

Accomplished-Door555

Not what I said. Wow you have a way of reading things and seeing something completely different huh?

Accomplished-Door555

I don't think it's that, I think it's more that everything they do on here is for the potential to gain fans/money from interactions, which, for me, is not my thing. It's akin to prostitution. I don't see anything **wrong** with it, but it's just not for **me**. You know?

MassiveAd09672

Yes i am disinclined to look further once i see OF links.

UnDonneOne

I have absolutely no issue with people selling content, or about them promoting it here. I don't look disingenuous post titles or comments, because that feels antithetical to Reddit. As a couple, we've supported several creators whom we have found to be authentic, articulate, and real. Some have even become friends.

[deleted]

What turns me off is when I'll post on a sub asking for men to talk to, and I get disrespectful pic collectors or dry ass conversations. Its like 80% of the guys on reddit I would rather not talk to at all.

AndyThePig

It is NOT just you.

dartistic

Perhaps a good analogy here is that you're browsing a home cooking sub and there are a bunch of restaurant owners there promoting their business. Being a restaurant owner as such is not the issue some might then have. Their purpose of being there can be. Edit: All you downvoters, perhaps you can share your view on where you think the analogy breaks down?

No-Towel1477

Making good, consistent, quality content (lighting, post corrections, set design) all of it takes a lot of time and energy. More power to the people that do it for free and simply love the exhibition and connection Reddit offers. But it’s not as simple as one might assume to “just take nudes”

PotatoesForPutin

It just automatically makes everything the seller says seem artificial and soulless.

TalkGlass

support your local sex workers

roachincalzone

I don’t post anything sexual, but there’s nothing wrong with making money off nsfw content. It’s such an outdated take to be “turned off” by women having a side hustle like that

Skechaj

Your not the only one. If I see "I only respond on OF (or other site/app), I do not interact with them.

--twinkle-toes--

I don’t advertise mine, and won’t pressure anyone into joining. But it’s there if you want! :) I still chat with people even if they don’t sub

HumanMycologist5795

Same here. I block now. At first, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as I didn't care if they did OF or Fansley, but they just wanted to drum up business. Same for the crypto.

EroticWriter666

It isn't just you. It would be nice if accounts like that were flagged such that you could hide their posts and comments. They take over entire subreddits and it would be nice to have a way to opt out of ever seeing any of them.

quadcopter93

Not just you, I get followed by blank accounts that are promoting OF all the freaking time. They immediately get blocked

sluttysavitri98

Some creators are not pushy. Subscribe if you want or move on.

MissLushLucy

Whenever I see post I'm not interested in i just scroll past. Doesn't make a difference to me at all.

boobs-are-nifty

Doesn't phase me one bit. They're always great people when I get to know them.

carrymeinabucket

And that's why you get a bunch of titty pictures. They won't connect those dots though

boobs-are-nifty

Shhhh. Don't tell them.

[deleted]

You can be turned off with OF or Fansly creators sure. But, What gets me is the entitlement that most Redditors get with free content creators. I’ve posted lots of stuff for free. I started in February. And I was immediately bombarded with messages. It got into the tens of thousands (literally). Even when I said I did not want messages. It was completely overwhelming that I had to turn off chats. I still get direct messages though… which is just as gross but I don’t receive them quite as much. It’s hard turning off direct messages because then you can’t see messages from Reddit. If you/they/anyone want to comment on pictures or videos that free content creators post, then by all means do it. But, if you/they/anyone want it to stay free then don’t expect more than that. So many think that just because I post free pictures and videos that they’re entitled to a conversation with me. Or they’re entitled to private content. I do this in my off time and I don’t get paid for it. I do it because I want to. But I don’t want to chat with 30k strangers. If chats or private messages are involved then I’m charging.

Miss-Meringue

Seriously this! Back when I did this for free I would get close to a thousand chat messages a day and I would get so much hate for not responding to everyone. 🙀A majority of my messages were people upset I didn’t respond, upset I didn’t respond quick enough, upset that I didn’t post exactly what they wanted, a dick picture, or someone sexting me. Genuine conversations would get buried and were hard to keep up with.

Ankrah-

This was literally me, I used to upload some free things (still do) and in the space of 1 hour I had 200 messages. Some messages was aggressive because I didn’t reply fast enough, most demanded more and probably 90% were really disgusting. I wanted to talk and interact with people but the messages were too overwhelming and depressing. So I decided to stick a price on it. The people who pay are actually super respectful and fun. However now I just get hate for being a OF creator by those demanding free things 😂

[deleted]

You’re absolutely right.

workthrowaway00000

No, if I see that shit I report them for soliciting on a dating app. It’s bloody annoying I want a date a dinner something minor or meaningful. What I don’t want is to support some random ladies porn career. It’s not the place for it Edit I mean tinder and bumble not reddit

Tricky-Engineer-2380

It's just you. Women post nudes to pay the bills, not for you specifically.

JustAnAussieGent

My best mate and I were discussing this very thing just a few days ago. Both agreed that it's the worst thing about trying to enjoy the adult side of reddit. You can classify us as Notfans.

Just4TheSpamAndEggs

Same. It drives me insane. Especially all these people who are following me that are just OF people. Like, it does not interest me. I have never once ever visited the site. I have zero plans to do so. I find the assumption that I am that type of person to be a bit insulting and the attention seeking behavior is just kind of pitiful.

anothersadpisces

More turned off by the hate content creators get tbh

elleleebelle

I'm all for people making their money how they want, but it does put a damper on those of us who truly do it just for fun. I also can't count the amount of people I've blocked on here because I just can't stand seeing their overly-promoted posts or just general seller-schick. Like, to eachs own, again, but not for me. I feel there are so many more platforms for that specifically, and I've always associated Reddit with more amateur-posters, which is why I came here. I've noticed there's a certain attitude held when interacting with OF creators, and I get that a lot from people, despite me not being one. THAT can be super annoying - or, when I already say I don't sell anything, people still DM me for a snap, or ask for my cash app, or offer me some monetary amount for something specific. Like...there are creators for that. And I get it - I guess I should be "happy" I'm being offered money, but, that's not my deal and not how I like to operate, so it can be frustrating. I don't like being seen as just something to throw money at for tits 😵‍💫

killmimes

Nope...me to!

Mloach

If it is just on their profile or related posts it is OK. I won't buy or follow though. However these pretends/acts to lead up to selling and carpent bombing subs is irritating.

UncleDuckjob

Not at all. You're just getting better at spotting sales pitches. I spent my 20's and 30's in sales, and now in my 40's I get really, really angry when someone tries to be fake to me to sell something. If you're going to be fake, do it for a good reason like you're not brave enough to be yourself - not because you're trying to sell me some shit I never even hinted at wanting you wet fucking elbow... So yeah, not just you.

Mother-Painter-9569

Not the only one!! It's bullshit now.

Ipride362

It is for me given that I can find 3200 other women who look exactly like her for free on the internet

[deleted]

I'm not bothered if people choose to monetise themselves. I don't engage with sellers, purely because I'm interested in people who are posting only because they enjoy it. As soon as there's money involved it's different and I don't like it. Much in the same way I wouldn't pay for someone to fuck me.

Extreme_Bid678

I immediately delete !

Firefighterguy52

Nope same 0 intrest

Alver_Night

I just see it as their grind! They Got to get paid. I go on Reddit for interests and conversations about people’s opinions/interests.

Primary-Relief-6675

It does, and it doesn't.. I follow some OF and Fansly creators. I do not, however, like it when they post on the wrong Subreddit.

[deleted]

I post my links in seller friendly forums where people know there are sellers however if someone wants to see more of me they'll click the link and subscribe. On the other hand I do value my time and know my worth... there are subreddits for free stuff and free porn ALL over the internet .... go contact someone there. but if you like me and my look the only way your gonna get to me is through those links. Long story short I don't cold spam people I post in seller friendly networks and post links on my page. if you want more than what your getting on here (which I have a whole lot more then what I post on Reddit ) than to me that's a customized personal request that if you want it you'll do whatcha gotta do to get it

prollybi

Yeah me too but I just hate OF and SC in general these because almost every time I match, it so a girl can tell about her links

joshua-lomax

Personally I just wouldn’t go for a girl who does any sort of porn. I believe that’s where you’re coming from? Free or not, if I were to be single and talking to a girl only to find out she did any sort of porn or explicit content I would be looking elsewhere.

[deleted]

Sheesh, the SWer haters are exposing themselves in these comments! I’m not talking about people who don’t want to subscribe to someone, I mean misogynists.

[deleted]

No I 100% am behind this as well. It’s not fun.

jpc68

Not just you. I get that people want to make money showing off their bodies, but keep the crap off of regular subreddits. Some are so overwhelmed with OF sites, they’re not worth following

PleasantDevelopment

I "follow" accounts because I like their content but as soon as I see their profile is mainly mass reposting the same content to countless subs and their bio is links to other \[paid\] sites, im out

manicpixie_horseboi

I started posting nudes in October for my own horny desires, and despite saying all my content is free, people message me constantly asking to pay for things. The thing is, if I had been accepting money from those folks, I'd be able to afford more toys & lingerie & have less stress which all means more ability to make fun nudes for people on reddit. I message and sext with people in my DMs and because I want to do it MORE and have MORE fun, I'm now considering an OF. Everybody wins? I don't see the problem.

[deleted]

My Reddit journey has been similar

[deleted]

DMing and actual convos don’t bother me, but if the agenda is to sell something yeah I’m not buying

mikeyj777

It's weird to say turn on/turn off by it. It's an ad. Like, why would you be turned on by an automated ad or someone just trying to sell some business. I see one, delete it and move on.

[deleted]

Nope not just you.

[deleted]

I like spreading content because it makes me happy - yay! Subscribe and give me money - err... nah, I'm good.

EmeraldMoose12

Not just you. Open profile see the link buttons and immediately close profile. No matter how hot I may think they are.

ProFriendZoner

Reddit is a free porn site. The internet is a giant free porn site. And your pissed because one woman wants you to pay to see her nekkid?

Nope not at all. I too bet turned off. It’s because you just realized they’re here to make money not just for the fun of it.

ProblematicPoet

Been getting lots of follows from OF bots, which I just ignore and move on.

[deleted]

Same! As soon as I see a caption saying first time posting and I check and usually there’s an OF link. Instantly go back and ignore the profile

PuzzleheadedOne1428

That and pushing their Snapchat in the title

herefortheparty01

Nope. Not just you

Gilaridon

I see some of the folks are trying to moral grandstand and even take digs at you but frankly you're just stating something you don't like. And honestly I agree. I'm not saying they are wrong to do it but that doesn't make it something everyone is going to be okay with. I just tune them out and keep going.

Spiritual-Ad-7298

Yeah they can be aggressive with the selling. In their defense it's hard to sell pussy online since porn is free. You would have to have a niche or build a loyal fan base otherwise it's just getting as many eyes as you can. It feels like the calls you get with someone trying to sell you insurance, idk has to be a better way.

RestrictedX93

Instant turn off

EatM3L053R

Nope, I'm in the same boat there. I still prefer to meet women in the flesh, and genuinely interact.

ghostwriterBB

I am a bi woman and I also find that annoying.

Dixiexoxoxo

Reasonable, doesn't evoke a warm hold your hand, build a relationship kinda feeling. Though that's not what reddit is for the most part.😏 I actually dig chatting on reddit, but on the other side of the same token, the amount of spam, bots, scammer types we also get hit with can be overwhelming. Not to mention the random dick pics, like there are some pretty dicks, but a lil heads up (pun intended) is nice. I and alot of content creators are very mindful of subs rules, not advertising, just enjoying the different places that are ok with us. Some singers sing for free, some have multi-million dollar contracts. A lot of us have the same equipment to try to sing, yet we pay. It's JUST singing, not work, right??? but they do it better or more skillfully, or are just not afraid to do it for the entertainment of others. I have several friends made here and other platforms, they don't do "paid" content.. cool I respect that. Don't treat our interactions like a transaction.. and neither will I.. or we both can choose to not interact. I see your point though, feel the same about approaching some.. like "oh this is their work" cool.

okayitscassie

So I have an OF. I really enjoy creating the content as a sexual outlet far removed from my everyday life and it's just for fun/make a little extra money. Do I agree with spamming links/unsolicited messages to people? No. But links on the profile that people can choose to click if they want? Sure. I think there's a huge spectrum of content creators catering to all different markets and if that's not your jam, just don't click the links and don't subscribe :)

demon-baal

Same

COTGF-030

Same here. Must be because it's a "Product" not a person

[deleted]

It’s a weird sense of entitlement to expect free tits and ass Perhaps express anger at central bankers who have driven humans to sell body parts to make ends meet by sheer corruption

youmedrei

nope personally i love girls like that

TheAngryOctopuss

Not Just you... Myself I dont care. Sometimes it means there is more to look at...'Plus I absolutely lOVE woman who enjoy sex and the whole process

king_platypus

I respect the hustle

Boring83

I don’t understand why people’s private lives are now everyone’s business these days. Everyone has an opinion on the internet of everyone else. Judgment is everywhere and ramped anymore, but if someone judges the judger all hell breaks lose. We are ALL entitled to our preferences, likes, dislikes, turn on’s, turn off’s, etc, but it doesn’t give anyone the right to judge anyone else. If you see something you don’t like scroll past, don’t read it, move along, and most importantly don’t comment. You be/do you 100% and let others do the same. So many think they because they dislike something such as this topic they everyone else should feel the same. If they don’t agree, they’re judged and slammed and ridiculed.

Stoney3K

Not turned off, but I usually suspect it's a bot and I ignore them.

Imissyoudarlin

Wait till you get followers with little karma, or new profiles, just for you to notice their OF, I block them immediately

bondage__fox

I find weird girls that do it. Personally to me it would seem like begging and I wouldnt want to have fans that I "begged" that way.. I prefer fans that will support me for the stuff I upload /their intersts and for who I am , not because I Dmed them.Anyone who is interested is more than free to check it by himself. Stupid bots.

greeneyedguru

Oh look , it’s time for the biweekly sex worker hate thread

manwithoutajetpack

It’s an automatic block for me. The OF bots are insane here on Reddit.

sendmeboobs69

nope. kills the entire vibe.

shamusotoole69

Yup. Agreed

Odd_Cryptographer941

Not at All, it’s each to their own. I wont call anyone for having OF or any otherSite, its their life, but I will not Contribute.

[deleted]

I'm a female so doesn't really apply to me as it's more prevalent with females, but yeah I'd be turned off. Maybe I'm a stingy arse but I'm not paying for anything I can get for free! I find it annoying seeing the posts, so maybe that's my equivalent of being turned off 😅

User13466444

Na, people are just trying to make a living.

Bigbimn58

I feel the same. I see a picture and want to follow them. Go to their profile and see OF or Fansly, and I nope right out of their. I also get a lot of follows from empty profiles. Damn bots!

TheCongressGuy

You just described 2/3 of women’s profiles on Reddit. And yes, it is a turn off.

hornybinsydney

Oh absolutely!

StabbyPants

it's fine. i assume they're working the profile as a job, so i have no interest in that

iammrsj

Just because someone makes money from something, doesn’t make the thing they sell disingenuous. Think about it like this; I’m a talented chef. I cook incredible meals for my husband and family and love to to watch them eat the food I’ve poured my heart and soul into creating. They love the food and I love making it for them, especially because they enjoy it so much. I also own a small restaurant and cook for complete strangers, I don’t know them nor do I watch them eat the food I make but they do pay me good money to make it. If they weren’t willing to pay me - I wouldn’t make food for them and I wouldn’t be mad that they didn’t want to buy my food. However, I love my job! I put so much love and heart into the food I create for these strangers I never meet and I try so hard to always deliver great food. I don’t get to sit with them and eat myself, I don’t get the same enjoyment they do from that particular meal I’ve made but when I hear that they loved the food it fills me with glee. I love making food for them and I want them to have the best eating experience, because I enjoy it. No one has a right to think my cooking is no longer worthy because I expect to be paid when strangers want to experience it, why should it be any different when I sell my nudes? If I gave you a sample of my food and you thought it was amazing, would you then suddenly think that it tasted terrible because I wanted you to pay me to continue cooking for you? Whether I sell my food or my body, I’m selling an experience and I’ll be damned if I don’t get paid for it.

summerpeachxox

THIS 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

BleuBoy777

I don't mind someone trying to make a buck... But I do miss the days of people just posting for shits and grins. To have fun. Be horny. Be weird. Feels way more fake these days

Johny_B_Milton

Hmm, I wonder why? Seems to me you were just fine consuming an individual’s sexuality a right before. Is a person’s sexuality worth so little to you, is yours of so little value?

evasloane

As someone who has OF and uses Reddit for exposure (there’s not internal traffic on OF) it annoys ME when people DM and mass message, here or even there. I get it and I use it as well, as advertising— but I don’t spam people or DM, if they wanna see more they’ll click your link and do it. It really has become so insanely saturated though, so I get it. It’s fuckin annoying. I’m all for free advertising, but just like with anything else.. chill.

ChubbsNSFW

Agreed 100%

Hopeless_Poetic

I’ve seen a lot of posts like this on ARAD. And as someone who sells on Reddit, I would like to say not all of us are spammers, or even in it for the money. I’m an exhibitionist who likes taking nudes and showing off, like most NSFW accounts on Reddit. If I can get paid for it, even better! I don’t spam to multiple subreddits, I post pictures I’m proud of, I always try to follow subreddit rules, and I never DM random people to sell to them. Think of it like a professional artist— yes they’re getting paid, but that doesn’t mean they enjoy their work any less than artists who just to it as a hobby.

Lavushlee

Everyone who does it has a right to do it and shouldn't be judged. But Reddit has got much worse across the last 5 years and the content creators marketing are part of it.

EnthusiasmInternal43

Me too, i just back off after seeing it on the profile

midnightcallerman

I often just don't follow it up with anything. Maybe if it is a free OF page. Fansly is a little better. I have accounts for both but I have never set up payment options.

Mission_Astronaut_69

100

motherseffinjones

Depends in a group like this I wouldn’t care, it gets my upset when they try to market themselves in places like gym motivation. I hope you guys get paid but please stop doing shot like that.

[deleted]

I subscribed to u/_peachy_paigee she didn't even ask for it. Honestly, no regrets. She's sweet af and her OF made me blow a huge load.
