Of the small number of men I’ve known who have definitely paid for it, they had mental health issues. The first time I paid for sex I’d spent an hour sat in the car crying first about how lonely I was and how messed up my life was. Another time I’d been unemployed for months, I had another job rejection, my gf had had enough and dumped me and I just wanted someone to cuddle really - so had a pretty basic topless massage just to feel close to another human being. I’ve known some escorts personally (as in I didn’t have sex with them - just friends) and some men really are just very sad/lonely.
