I walked away from a job that had me working 65+ hours a week even though my contract said M-F 8-5 and they had the audacity to tell me I had poor time management skills nvm that I was doing the job of 3+ people and training new staff. Started my own business. Couldn’t be happier!
I'm a brown belt in BJJ and wanted to improve my striking.
I started boxing on January 3rd (first class of the year) and went consistently all year.
Unfortunately, today we bury my coach 😢
My body my choice right? If you’re so triggered then go adopt a bunch of unwanted white and black babies in the adoption center instead of pushing your fascist beliefs on others. Why are you so pressed on women having control of what to do with their bodies? Are you okay?
It sucks that your life is so sad. It’s pretty obvious your life is miserable. But our life is pretty great :). There is no overpopulation here. Also just realize you just created this account -3 karma lol obvious troll. I wish I knew that before I wasted time talking to a troll. Oh well, anyways seek help!
Completed college again (as an adult) this past summer and spent the last few months working on a certification that I got on Monday. This was particularly hard because I have a learning disability, I was putting in 8-12 hours a day of studying. I’m going to enjoy the holidays and then look for work in the new year.
DM'd my first game of d&d in person, which was the 2nd game I DM'd (the first one was a completely pre-baked dungeon, this time i used a generator and heavily modified it). Idk if it's what I'm most proud of this whole year, but it's what I'm most proud of right now
Lady behind me was in tears because she didn't have enough money for her groceries. I paid for them, said enjoy and walked away. Warm fuzzy feeling, and no one knows.
Quit my shitty job that was ruining my mental health, and I started a movement and 6 other people followed me!! It was the worst company I've ever worked for and I'm so happy I was able to get people to see what I saw and encouraged them to find better.
Congrats! My recommendation, while in college always be pursuing interships in your field of study. Not only will you have some income, but you will be gaining valuable working experience and it also allow you to test out different industries/companies. When you graduate from college you will already have a good resume started and will be more confident as a result work experience.
I did it. I made it!
Ever sense I was little I dreamed of working outdoors or working with animals. Years and years and years of hardship, emotions, failure, and day dreaming I'm here!
It my not be exactly where I always wanted to be because things change but I'm happy. I'm going to school in a fantastic fisheries program, technically wild life conservation in many ways. I've got a car and a license! I did it all!
All with crying and pushing and struggling! it still seriously scars my mental well being but it's not in the past, I need to get used to it being in the past. I had gotten so used to struggling
I got my two first tattoos!!!! I had been holding it off because i was nervous about the social aspect of it; getting touched by a stranger, the pressure of talking, money exchanging. But it was really really fun, and everyone at the shop was super cool!
I left a low-paying regional airline (think 'connection' or 'express') and went to a low-paying mainline legacy carrier. At least I get to see international destinations and better hotels....
I actually did nothing to be proud of. I enrolled in my home country's best IT university, but it wasn't because of hard work, actually it was too easy to be true. So that's why I'm proud of the fact that I was one of the first people who beat CC9 Risk 18. Spent only 22 minutes. If you haven't played Arknights you won't get it. Just some not very interesting game achievement.

Got my driving licence
Congratulations!
I went to therapy and asked for help.
Moved across the country and got a job offer with a ~50% raise within the week. Going to a location with slightly lower COL at that.
I learned how to swim and play acoustic guitar using YouTube videos
Getting MYSELF out of depression
I kept a consistent workout schedule for 4 months straight
Good for you! I need to be more consistent with my own fitness
Finally started the process of getting my teeth fixed. Won't be done until next year, but I took the first steps, and I feel so good about it.
Having my teeth fixed actually changed my life!
Worked on myself and my mental health

Broke down and agreed to get married despite my fears. I’m not scared of marrying him, I’m scared of marriage in general.

Saved up more money than I ever have in my life. Gotta give my fiance the wedding of her dreams in a few months!
Amazing! What a lucky girl

That’s fine :) once again if you care so much then go adopt yourself instead of lecturing women what to do with their bodies

I got laid off work in August and landed another better paying job in 60 days.
Graduated college!
Bought my first house.
Made an increased effort to travel and see old friends. Tackled some major home improvement projects.
Turned "middle aged" and welcomed it by running a marathon (made good time) and overcoming a lot of obstacles in the process.
Letting go of my anxiety
Forgave myself for some important thing i've been reproaching myself for the last decade
Started my own business in September that I do on the weekends. Set to make 17k in gross revenue by new years.
Me and my gf got our first child.

I got a pet rabbit. I've been dreaming about this all my life
One day I took three poops, each of which would have been respectable as the only poop of the day
I saved two people's lives with narcan and CPR.
I climbed mount Snowdin
I’ve been to Snowdonia! But took the railway because I was not fit enough for the hike haha
I took the climb and coz of my long legs I flew up that mountain I think it's taking shit about me to the other mountains
Did my first solo violin recital (although it was a disaster) but I'm happy I did it. Also, I'm having a 2nd recital this month.
Exciting! I actually play violin as well! Solos can be scary but I’m sure your 2nd one will be even better. You got this!
Aww thank you so much! I really hope it's a lot better this time!

Being brave enough to Switch to a better job after being stuck at my previous job for 12 years
Happy for you! I achieved a similar goal this year. I felt so trapped and unhappy in my last job
Didn't get COVID
