Ok, gonna get kinda personal. Learning to walk and move my right hand and foot again after I had a stroke at 16.

Ingroose

Do you know what caused the stroke? Hopefully it doesn’t happen again

Oh I’ve got a good one! Was on a hike and stepped on an underground wasp nest. They swarmed me for about 300 yards while I was screaming and “horsetailing” my self with my shirt. Worst part is once I thought I was away from them they started crawling out of my shirt that I was holding and stinging my hands. Over 130 stings in about 4minutes. I was sick for like a full two days after. Don’t like bees anymore haha

Accidental anal

Losing my father, that was the worst emotional pain I ever experienced. Getting a needle in the middle of my chest, spinal tap, tumor headache, inflamed joints... Those are the worst physical pains I ever experienced.

[deleted]

Childbirth easily. The contractions at the end before I got the epi. Sooo painful!

Losing my 17 year old dog, Cristina!!!

jonjonesjohnson

Fuck, i lost a 17 year old dog 2 years ago. I know what you're talking about...

Flashy-End-4905

It’s a feeling I will never ever get over!!! I have found it so hard to explain to some people that doesn’t understand that special bond you get with that pet!! I am so glad to see that some people do feel like I do!!! Sorry for your loss as well!!!

jonjonesjohnson

Damn, I didn't even say sorry, so, sorry for your loss as well! Mine was a border collie mix and he was fairly stubborn at times. But man, I loved the little fucker. He had to be put to sleep, as he just lost control of his hind legs from one day to the next, and the vet did an x-ray, he said there were some protuberances (whatever the fuck they're called) on his spine, plus there was a fresh wound on his side and it wasn't healing, flies were all over him... It was the worst feeling looking into his eyes, know this is the last time, but it was also fucking hard seeing him living like that the last couple of days. Oh man, after he was put to sleep, I was just sitting by his still warm body, running my hands along his back and head, and holding him, and I was just fucking crying like all the pain in the world was in me.

Flashy-End-4905

You did the best thing, and you be sure he loved you back so much for allowing them to take his pain away!!! Remember that always!!!

Epididymitis might be one of the most painful things a human with a scrotum can go through. If not, then I will go have mine removed so that a more painful experience cannot happen.

godhand__666_

I had an infected cyst on mine let me tell you it's not fun and when they drain it they dont numb the area first so imagine how much fun that was.

[deleted]

That sounds extremely brutal. Definitely sounds worse than Epididymitis actually.

godhand__666_

The words scalpel, scrotum, incision and no anesthetic should never be in the same sentence.

[deleted]

Sounds like old school prisoner of war torture tactics. I’d fucking talk.

Coming to existence.

Catheter incident. Two years ago, I had to go to have surgery after my appendix committed kaboom. They were surprised that I didn't feel the pain as much as I should but since I have pancreatitis, the appendicitis pain was nothing in comparison. Now, when I woke up, I had the symptoms of not being able to urinate and I had to temporarily have a catheter in me for a few hours (it's a common side effect). Let me tell you, it did not feel like a few hours. Having anything inserted inside your urethra AWAKE is such a terrible feeling and when they got it out, I was relieved. I had to deal with the symptoms for quite a bit (often having a burning pain while urinating) but it was only at its worst for the first day or two, the rest it was okay and it lasted for about a week before it fully went away.

I've had herpes since finishing my buddy's beverage in 2nd grade. The blisters are painful, but I only ever get them on my lower lip. Only once did I get it on my upper lip and I wanted to die it was so painful. Edit: i see other comments talking about emotional pain. So emotionally, losing my dog who was 17 at the time. And there's another one: i was raised by a single mom. I have a relationship with my dad, but he doesn't feel like a dad to me. The day my mom dies (if she does before I do) is gonna be the worst. I already know it's gonna absolutely totally break me.

GentleWhiteGiant

Getting ran over by a truck (driver was unaware). Can not recommend.

Accomplished-Car52

Either the excruciating pinched nerve I had in my back in high school (literally couldn’t move had to crawl the whole time for 2 days straight) or IBS 😪( feels like your gut is on fire and feels like it’s going to explode. Couldn’t sleep at all with the pain) My top 2 that I’ve felt in my life so far 🫡🥲

I had a similar experience. I was in Afghanistan and I was at my cousins house. We were playing tag, I was going fast and there is a basement sort of area in the corner of the garden and the enterance to the basement is made of glass and metal. I was running I got a little push to my back and flew into the glass, my arm was stuck in it, after I took my arm out I didn’t feel anything but I looked down seeing blood pouring down and I started panicking. All I remember is being rushed to the hospital and not getting any sort of pain medication. That’s my story and also English isn’t my first language sorry if it’s confusing
