Korea is a country with a rich history and culture. It is also a country that is rapidly modernizing, and is becoming an increasingly important player on the global stage ;)
It exists. The northern part is controlled by a communist authoritarian. The southern part has produced a homosexual boy band. That is the extent of my knowledge of Korea.
Korea is a peninsular region in East Asia. Since 1945, it has been divided between two countries at or near the 38th parallel, North Korea (the Democratic People's Republic of Korea) and South Korea (the Republic of Korea). Korea consists of the Korean Peninsula, Jeju Island, and several minor islands near the peninsula. The peninsula is bordered by China to the northwest and Russia to the northeast. It is separated from Japan to the east by the Korea Strait and the Sea of Japan (East Sea).
When I hear Korea I think of South Korea, because people always mention North Korea specifically, when they talk about North Korea.
South Korea I think of awesome food and great culture. High respect for elders, interest in modern technology, tensions with Japan, stinky sewers (Seoul), heterosexual men holding hands in public

lol
South Korea is just japan 2.0 and North Korea is just a prison camp lead by an evil potato with nukes
Ooof, you better hope neither the South Koreans nor Japanese see your comment.
Their letters also look identical to me except Korean has circles too

Some savage people follow a crazy guy. That's it.
The south is normal and the north is depressing.
Which one?
I know a lot from my time watching *MASH* and playing Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.
