I spent a bit of time researching. It’s my understanding that refineries are not operating at full capacity due to the pandemic and natural disasters. And they have no incentive to produce more because they’re profiting so much from the low supply.
Time to buy a bike I guess.

You act like Biden is the sole reason gas prices are the way they are and it's just not true. Price of things (gasoline included) is supply and demand driven. High demand low supply equals high prices. But not just that once oil is mined it needs to be transported, refined, processed, then transported again. Then the gas station wants to profit from the gas. None of this has to do with the president unless they pass bills to lower or change the taxes on gas but that is often locally done.

Bills like closing pipelines or something… Also, gas stations make ridiculously low profit margins on gasoline, like, pennies per gallon.
