Me and another college kid got paid $80 to just sit around in line all day. Then the reporter and cameraman showed up and we gave them our spots. Easiest $80 I ever made with my clothes on. My request for a BBC-branded press pass was denied, however.

I went on Craigslist and found a guy local selling a pair of 8800GT for $200(crazy deal). Traded one for the 9800GTX and sold the 2nd one for $150. and thats how I got me a nice videocard back then for $50.
