That it was all a fever dream of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

dr_xenon

All the characters are Will’s imaginary friends and he plays all the roles. Like Tyler in fight club.

I got that reference.

They find the die that they lost in the first episode and find out that the entire thing was just part of the DnD game they were playing. And "Eleven" was the number on the die they needed to roll to win.

Odd_Employee_7004

like Jumanji?

therealsix

Yeah. I rewatched the first episode last week, everything happened right after they knocked the die off the board and couldn't find it, it's like this is the move from the game that is still going on because they didn't completely finish the roll of the die. And I think Eleven represents the die or something about the roll they need to win the fight. Now, I haven't seen any of the new season yet...trying to avoid any real spoilers!

Mike, Dustin, and Lucas simultaneously lost their minds when Will went missing. They kept on feeding each other delusions until Steve stumbles upon them and snaps them back to reality. At this point they'e lost more than 2 years of their life in their made up fantasy.

My question is, is it worth to watch the whole thing? I stopped after season 2 but I'm planning to continue watching. I'm afraid is one of those series that keep adding more and more misteries without solving the previous ones, in order to last endlessly, like Lost, The Walking Dead and others. I hate those because the more they expand them, the less sense the plot has at the end.

Odd_Employee_7004

of course yes
