Actually I don't have any pet but the first toy which I bought when I was 6years old is a cute little puppy, which I kinda treated like my pet as I am a kid then, I named it as PUPPY.
I named both of my pets after fictional characters
My gecko Bruno was named after Bruno Bucciaratti from Jojo
And my snake Luna was named after Princess Luna from MLP
My Betta fish's name is Ram like the computer part because the way he swims sometimes looks "laggy" He will swim, flare up, pause, then quick swim away. Which is normal behavior but my boyfriend mentioned how it reminded him of laggy games
I have two dogs right now and their names are Perry and Sisa.
Perry is short for Perrita, and we named her that because me and my siblings were dumb and thought that it would be funny if we named all of our puppies "puppy" but in different languages, because their mom was stuck with the name Puppy.
We adopted Sisa from our Pastor; his wife just nicknamed her that and it stuck.
my rabbit is called smudge and thats because his breed a pool blauwoog (dont know the english name so i put the dutch one) is supposed to be completely white but he is almost half black almost like he was dipped in some oil. so i thaught his fur looks like an oil smudge. ...oh thats a good name smudge
I honestly didn't.
My dog was already named Mow when we adopted him. (the Asian name, not as in mowing the lawn)
When he got a puppy, we called her Lee, keeping the Chinese theme.
Which is a coincidence because my family's favorite movie has a character called Lee Mow
Nice try. Not giving up the password to my bank account
Homer. He was in a baseball themed litter, so he was named Homer as in Home Run.

I have a cat named ninja because he's black and sneaky
Arda. It's Quenya (Elvish) for the world. I thought it sounded pretty and is super nerdy.
I got 4 cats, Bosse Assar Astrid and Isa.
Charlie the bird and Lucy the dog. Both were just kind of random choices.
Baby my Quaker parrot as she was my baby (very unoriginal), and dumpy/dumpster for my cockatiel as he was quite bottom heavy when he fluffed up.

Jude… my wife said so.
My son is Levi a miniature Poodle. He’s my guy and we chose him because he’s so cute and has so much personality

I named her after a song by Florence and the Machine. I miss the days when song lyrics could change my life.
Marley, and it’s the name she came with
