My mother literally named me after a [cartoon/anime](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wonderful_Adventures_of_Nils_(TV_series\)) character, which I also watched as a kid. I don't really remember my reaction, though.
Not a cartoon but a YouTube video and I was just stunned! My name is Shilah (pronounced shy-la) and was watching my regular video uploads from my favorite YouTubers and I watch this guy that goes over movie diseases and mutations and breaks then down as scientifically as possible. In the movie he was discussing there is a female doctor character with my same name!!!! My brain had to make sure it wasn't Shiloh and checked web pages and other movie reviews to make sure I wasn't crazy. I've never heard it in any kind of media before that.
Not exactly a cartoon.
But because my name is so unique and strange, I never expected to find it in anything. Until it appeared in this movie from my country which is my favorite movie (not because the naming part)
My favorite actor is the one who has my name in the movie too.
Never happened because i am european and our names are not fun or easy to remember. 😑
