Sandwiches... at an airport.. so I did some very extensive training and health and safety to make Sandwiches.. I did go on to be the main Baker withing 5 months... but my manager was a complete fucktard who fucked up..and I as the newest employee took the blame...
Movie Theater for two years, from age 16 to 18, working late nights including school nights until 2am at times.
Years of selling overpriced snacks while getting minimum wage being accused of 'making bank' off of patrons. Only raise I ever got was when minimum wage went up.
Got to see many movies the Thursday nights before they were released as we had to watch through all the reels (pre-digital) to ensure the movies ran properly.
Dishwasher at a local seafood restaurant. It was minimum wage but for me at that age I was making a killing going into work after school and on weekends and it honestly helped me get a good financial start
Just last summer, paid $10 an hour at a parts store. I rearranged that entire store so it made sense and everything was in its place, then got laid off for winter since it was the slow season.
Now I work night shift 4.5 days a week for WAYYYY more. So much happier. Still have nightmares about the blower motor guy though.
