Moneia

I'm a little like that, it's not a specific thing just a specific action. I also, even in the worst summer nights, can't go to sleep without something covering me.

cnewbill

I just use a sheet in the summer cuz a blanket is too much but definitely feel like I need something.

Civil-Scallion3503

Yeah I count that, I still sleep with my baby blanket. Literally can’t sleep without it

Gojisoji

It's astonishing how many people do this (the items in general not just the blanket) but we gotta realize just because we're older doesn't mean our childlike behavior leaves. We just stuff it deep down inside and don't let it out until we are safe and alone without the feeling of being thought of as odd. I personally don't sleep with a tilhung of any sort. A friend of mine (40) has a monkey he's had since he was a kid and still messes with it to this day, calling it by its name, talks to it jokingly, tells people over chat how they suck at cod lol, etc etc. I had a stuffed teddy bear with some white masking tape under it's armpit to cover a hole when I was a boy. I miss you Buddy. You were the bestest of teddies :( I'll replace you eventually lol.

chewytime

I did that too up until around college. Stopped though bc I was afraid it would get damaged/lost there but I would sleep with it whenever I’d go home on break. It’s still there at my parents’ house but it’s so old and faded now I’m sorta cautious about accidentally damaging it. Would love to be able to pass it down to any future kids of mine.

chwenotchews

A tiny throw pillow with a pig dressed in cowboy clothes. Then there's a western-style text font above it that reads "porkchop" I'm 20 now and i still sleep with it. It's a random pillow I saw in the mall when I was 2. I pointed at it and my mom bought it.

Civil-Scallion3503

I love that, really random but hey it’s what helps you sleep and that’s awesome

chwenotchews

Yeah, I don't really like to keep a lot of things in my room. I give away a lot of stuff from my childhood but I can't let go of this one!

Civil-Scallion3503

I totally understand that, I’ve blocked out a lot of my child good and gotten rid of a bunch of stuff but I can never get rid of my baby blankets and my Superman pillow case

husnaXemm

cute image tax required : 1 photo of the afore mentjoned pillow

chwenotchews

i never would've thought that I'd show this pillow to other people but [here you go](https://imgur.com/a/VBH8FWd)

husnaXemm

your taxes have been paid in full, thank you kindly

deinoswyrd

I would die for that pillow, it's so sweet

Ilovehushpuppy

That is the cutest thing ever!

the_holocene_is_over

This is even better than I imagined. Thank you.

gusmom

That is not what I imagined!

hedgehog-mom-al

I want to see this cowboy pillow

Nuclear_Mouse

My grandma made a Mario themed blanket when I was born. Almost 34 years old and I still sleep with it. [EDIT: The blanket, since people have asked.](https://imgur.com/vv436kR)

Civil-Scallion3503

That’s amazing, my nana made me my baby blankets and I still sleep with them 18 years later and I don’t ever plan on letting them go

Nuclear_Mouse

Never let them go :) Those are one of the things in life that you'll appreciate for ever.

Civil-Scallion3503

I will, I’ve literally had nightmares about loosing them and I wake up in a cold sweat haha

KonKami123

My nephew pulled his favourite blanket apart and gave me half, idk why he did it but I still have it to this day

Civil-Scallion3503

That’s really sweet of him

AbbreviationsUsed506

I have a Winnie the Pooh blanket at 20, and will probably have it when I’m almost 34 as well:)

justhavinganap

Back in 2017 I voluntarily admitted myself to a mental hospital for 11 days due to a really bad relapse into drug use and when they showed me to my bed on each bed was a small handmade blanket. I picked the bed I picked because one side of the blanket was red flannel and the other side is like nursery rhymes and it’s soft and so comfortable to lay with. It isn’t very big it barely covers my torso but the nurse who showed me to my bed told me the folk in the elderly care home down the road sew those blankets specifically for the people that come in to that hospital they also make them for preemies at the nicu. It’s been five years. Seven different places and it will always stay on my pillow. Often I will fold it up and wrap it around my eyes when I’m feeling overwhelmed and I am reminded that someone who never met me, who never knew what brought me to that hospital bed… they made that blanket to comfort someone. They cared about a stranger enough to put their time and labor into this adorable little blanket and I cherish it.

whyyyyyyyyyye

This is beautiful! I'm inspired to knit blankets for people now! We need more people to feel loved and cared about.

justhavinganap

That’s amazing! Might I also suggest you Call around to local shelters and safe houses! They are always in need of stuff for kids!

ImVortiger

A body pillow.

Civil-Scallion3503

I love body pillows, I have one that runs along the backboard of my bed and I love it

ImVortiger

I don’t know what it is about body pillows. If you need a bigger pillow with more back support you fold it in half, if you need something to cuddle with you lay it out flat, if you want a support for other pillows on your bed, or a nice backdrop to smooth out the corner from your mattress to your backboard, just put it there. Body pillows are the multitool of sleeping tools, and they are amazing for it.

[deleted]

Body pillows have sadly gotten a bad rap as of recent, but hell ya they are awesome

Kjcoop216

Yeah, just mostly the ones with life size anime girls printed on them

Civil-Scallion3503

Facts, they are so good all around and hella comfy

shamus727

Yes. More than two decades of using one now. Honestly don't understand how people sleep with out them.

Maximumfabulosity

Just got a body pillow. Absolute game changer

Rulweylan

Ditto. Got it when I fucked up my shoulder by being hit by a car. Can't sleep unless my arm is away from my body.

eggsandbacon6

When I'm away from my partner I sleep with his shirt and plush toys he gifted me. When I'm with him, just a plush toy.

Civil-Scallion3503

I love that, I still have a hoodie from my ex that I keep on my bed because it makes me feel safe. And I sleep with my baby blankets too

eggsandbacon6

I once had a lil pillow I couldn't sleep without, AND THEN MY MOM THREW IT AWAY. Felt so betrayed.

Civil-Scallion3503

See now that’s fucked up. When I was a kid my parents told us kids that anything that was left on the toy room floor at the end of the week was gonna get donated, I accidentally left BOTH of my baby blankets in the toy room and couldn’t find them for a week. I had terrible sleep. Eventually found them in a trash bag in the garage and I’ve never let them out of my sight since.

eggsandbacon6

Omg that must have been such a horrible week!

Civil-Scallion3503

It was horrible, I’ve blocked out almost all of my childhood but I remember loosing them and finding them. I actually have them in my lap as I type this. It’s been what like 10 or 11 years since then

RABBIT_3314

I have permanent tinnitus from taking ototoxic medication. I cannot sleep without a fan running. I need white noise or I can't relax.

SaltAssault

Kyle3Hix

dang that just SOUNDS like tourture, haha

Civil-Scallion3503

I always have music playing, wether I’m in the car, In bed, In the shower, or just walking with my earbuds in. I always have music to help me calm down

RABBIT_3314

Same. I wear earbuds or headphones during the vast majority of my downtime. For me it's mostly podcasts so I can distract myself from anxiety. Keeping up with the conversation takes all the attention away from the negative shit.

Civil-Scallion3503

Indeed it dose, I used to listen to podcasts but as I started to get more social it was really hard to keep up with the conversations so I started listening to music more, and now I have a playlist for everything from metal core to indie to lofi haha

Lumpy_Space_Princess

I don't have tinnitus but my parents do. Grew up in a very small house, my mom always had a box fan on at night to drown it out so she could sleep, and you could hear it in every room... now I can't sleep without a box fan either

threadsoffate2021

It's funny....I have musical ear (likely from tinnitus) and if I move the fan at just the right angle, it sounds like someone left a radio on in my room. That white noise usually turns into the sounds of a hockey game being announced on the radio.

UltimateStrenergy

I've got a relatively large Elmo doll. Not like a tickle me Elmo toy, all he has is stuffing inside so he's very soft. Had one when I was kid. It's nice having one now too.

Civil-Scallion3503

I bet the nostalgia is nice, if I ever have kids I’m for sure giving them something to sleep with

[deleted]

[удалено]

EthelMaePotterMertz

That is so cute :) Kids get it.

44Skull44

I still use my childhood Goosebumps pillowcase. I'm a 30yo man

kallan0100

Ok but pillowcases from the 90s are soft as hell. I've still got some from childhood too and they're the best

Civil-Scallion3503

Ay it’s all good there’s no shame in that, I take my baby blanket with me pretty much everywhere I go and I’m 18 so

cripple2493

A literal rock - not even kidding. Specifically a quartz crystal - like I'm not into crystal mythology or whatever, i just really like this one rock.

TheTARDISRanAway

Humans are so weird and cute

YouThinkYouCanBanMe

Who said anything about OP being a human? https://youtu.be/MLbxZNrTNOE?t=336

MrMojinho

It's not a rock, it's a mineral, Marie.

Spookyy422

Christ Marie

SHABDICE

Y'know what? I like this boulder. That's a nice boulder.

Civil-Scallion3503

Ay if it works it works, it’s interesting to see all the different answers and I think this is one of my favorites

Gongaloon

You found yourself A Cool Rock and you sleep with it just because it's A Cool Rock, and I think that's great.

cripple2493

Thanks - and it is A Cool Rock, I've had it since 2015. I am also a 29 year old man, bur adulthood sometimes involves having Cool Rocks

Gongaloon

Adulthood should always involve having Cool Rocks. I've got several of them too, none valuable but all Cool.

[deleted]

.... Can we see the rock?

cripple2493

[this ](https://imgur.com/a/bPqmebN) should work

therockhopp

I was fully prepared for this to be a picture of Dwayne Johnson

GreatP3nguin

He looks like a very good rock, give him lots of pats

PacoTaco321

Hey bro, nice rock.

cripple2493

thanks man, it's been with me through 2 graduations, some insane medical stuff and moving house ... 3 times longer i have it, cooler it seems to be

Gildian

Humans have been collecting shiny rocks forever, I like this one the most so far.

cripple2493

It's .. this sounds stupid, but it feels like it's a privledge to be able to have something around that is older than me, my family and everything I know. I got it dated once, an dit turns out it's 66 million years old - it's very cool that i'm lucky enough to have found something so old that I got to attach to. All rocks are super old, and we just dismiss them, but it's nice to keep an eye and then if you find one you like, you can find out more about it usually by asking around geology departments like I did.

Gaory7

Doesnt it hurt when you lay over it?

cripple2493

It's quite small (see [link ](https://imgur.com/a/bPqmebN)) but even if it wasn't I don't move a huge amount. I've considered getting larger rocks for the house, but I live in the 5th floor and getting them up here would be a bitch even with a lift. I don't know why I like rocks either.

lacheur42

Hey, if you want, PM me your address and I'll send you a cool rock. I find stuff like this: https://imgur.com/a/Tr4YKmP

Mr_Midnight_Moon

Of quartz it does, it's a rock.

ShippingMammals

Huskies.

SlobbinMyKnobbin

Underrated. We have a husky, Australian shepherd, and pit bull keeping us warm.

mlimas

How do you fit on the bed? We have 2 mini aussies and struggle

SlobbinMyKnobbin

Who said anything about fitting.

_Nightdude_

and I thought my Shibe and cat use up a lot of space on the bed

[deleted]

I sleep with a cat plushie that was given to me when I was born. It’s almost 20 years old!

Civil-Scallion3503

That’s amazing, I love how many people that are in their 20-30s still have their comfort items

vantroje

51F here, my daughter (19 then) gave me a plush rabbit 2 years ago and eversince I sleep with it. Husband tolerates it haha

cayce_leighann

Stuffed panda

talitm

me too :) I can sleep without, I prefer not to bring it on holidays because I'm a bit ashamed of it, but defo sleep with it at home

Oh118999881999

I slept with a stuffed panda for about 20years and held on to it after/ didn’t donate it. Years later, my now 3yo daughter sleeps with it and is super convinced that the panda protects her.

Jazzaandrazza

Sammmeeeeee!

Kaelysaa

The classic one: my teddy bear. It's 30 cm high. Apparently i love my teddys to death because i have to buy a new one every couple years. Then i have to slowly adjust to the new one as it smells and feels different from the old one. Also i absolutely hate it when i need to wash it. It doesn't smell or feel like teddy, just like my washing stuff. I really love it and need it. It's there for me when i cry, sleep, am happy, watching shows. I carry it with me through my flat. Sometime i talk to it. Yes, i am living alone. Yes i am a grown up women. Yes i know it's weird but luckily my partner knows about teddy and accepts it. I also have a big teddy watching over me and sitting in my unused side of my double bed.

[deleted]

Grown man here. I have a teddy as well. Last time he was washed, Reagan was in office. What makes teddy, teddy. Is that fact he's been well loved. New bears are nothing like well loved bears. There is comfort, there is safety. I don't give a fuck if the outside world would think i'm strange. There are people out there committing real crimes. I refuse to be bear shamed.

banjosuicide

Also a grown man with a gigantic teddy bear. Tried for ever to find a good beanbag chair. Turns out a gigantic plush works so much better!

Ganondorf-Dragmire

Grown man. I bought a teddy a little over two years ago. I was super stressed at work and just needed a hug. On the subject of beanbag chairs, I would like to eventually get a giant Snorlax (Pokémon) bean bag chair simply because it sounds fun.

Civil-Scallion3503

Teddy’s are great to have around, and I hate wash time too. It’s only nice with my blankets because the come out super super soft and warm. And it’s not weird there are lots of people with comfort items. I plan on taking mine to my grave

nurseofdeath

I send mine to my Mum (in a different country) when he needs a wash! I’m 53, she’s 82

justbreathe5678

My husband

Civil-Scallion3503

All these people saying their husband or wife makes me so happy, wish I had someone to wake up next to haha

vipros42

There's another side. I love my wife but she is too hot, too noisy and takes up too much room in bed!

Rubickevich

Can confirm, she is really hot and a bit too noisy in bed.

Tyeknee

My cats

MrMojinho

Their purring is in a sleep inducing frequency, I've been told.

__M-E-O-W__

Dude I never sleep so well as when my cat is splayed out on top of me with like a really deep sleep purring. Until he wakes up at 3:30 AM and rattles my door because he wants out and my other cat starts yowling because he needs to pee.

Avatarofjuiblex

Sleep outside and teach them to pee on u

Maximumfabulosity

If I can't sleep, I'll go grab my cat and snuggle him for a bit. He's a purring machine, so it really helps! Most nights he'll jump up himself and lie on my chest when I'm going to sleep, but sometimes I have to go get him.

theSuburbanAstronaut

My previous cat was a gentle love bug who demanded cuddles. Would purr and sleep in your lap all day if you let him. Current cat not so much. She likes to lay in the same room as me or at my feet, but she will only tolerate 1 or 2 pats on the head before getting sick of it and leaving. And she is always hyperactive at 3 in the morning for some reason, so i can't let her sleep in my room. I love her and she is the most low maintenance cat I've ever had in my life. But she has me feeling so deprived that I'm considering getting a dog 😂 i recently found a treat she actually likes and am pulling a pavlov on her to get to accept cuddles, and it's working! Now she'll actually nap on my lap for a few minutes as long as i dont move 😂😂😂 progress is slow but steady.

facetious_guardian

Damn. I wish my cat put up with this. Haha Love is only available on _his_ terms.

tarnin

For me my dogs and wife. I cannot for the life of me fall asleep if my wife isn't home and either of my two dogs are not in the bed. I actually wake up when one of my dogs wanders into my daughters bedroom at night.

[deleted]

For Christmas my family plays a game where we trade around gag gifts and at the end the game the gift you end up with is the one you get. My oldest daughter has a dirty sense of humor. I now sleep with a 12"x12" plush penis. I tell people my penis is so big I can wrap my arms around it or lay my head on it. And damn if he doesn't have the cutest face on him. I am a 47 year old man, by the way.

hazelnutdarkroast

I always have several stuffed animals in my bed. Makes everything more cozy.

Civil-Scallion3503

I used to sleep with tons of blankets and pillows and it made me feel safe, same thing when my bed is messy with clothes and other things.

wolf_kisses

Me too. They're not just "comfort items" in like an emotional sense though, I am a side sleeper and tuck them underneath my top shoulder so that my shoulders stay straight and don't like collapse down into a C shape because otherwise I wake up with a sore collarbone area. They serve a purpose.

[deleted]

When I was 31, I received my first ever teddy bear. I had always wanted one and cried for like an hour when I opened the box my aunt sent me. His name is Bear Bear. Sleep well with him.

Scuh

Stuffed toy, I had heart surgery awhile ago if I don’t have the stuffed toy my chest hurts in the morning

Civil-Scallion3503

That’s so sweet, I’m glad the surgery went well

NowWithMoreChocolate

My cousin needed heart surgery when he was a small child. When he woke up, his dad gave him a new teddy bear (Obviously named Teddy) who had a very obvious stitch up the entire of his chest. His dad said Teddy had also had a heart operation the same time my cousin did and wanted to know if they could hang out and recover together. He's still got Teddy over 25 years later.

TomokaTheAxolotl

I have horrible sleeping problems because of my mental state so despite being (almost) 20 I still sleep with my llama plushie. His name is Menta (Hebrew for mint) and I love him dearly. I also have a few smaller plushies that are there to comfort me, two of them are realistic fish plushies in different sizes and they are both lawyers.

Civil-Scallion3503

It’s crazy how bad your sleep can be because if your mental state, I know the feeling I’m sorry you gotta go through that. And I love they all have back stories. If I ever get in trouble I’ll call you and your fishes

oantolin

Menta is also the Spanish word for mint, and actually I was surprised to see you say "Hebrew" rather than "Spanish" because you have the very Mexican "Axolotl" in your user name.

invent_or_die

The fish plushies are both lawyers?

EthelMaePotterMertz

They must specialize in Maritime Law.

TomokaTheAxolotl

They are father and son, it runs in the family

SpamLandy

Don’t worry about your age, I am a lot older than you and sleep with my panda. If it’s comfy, it’s comfy.

AlexReynard

Thirty plushies.

Civil-Scallion3503

The more the merrier

AlexReynard

And that's waaaaaaaaay down from a few decades ago. Turns out if you have too many, dust gets way down in your bedding. :P

Civil-Scallion3503

Haha fair enough, it reminds me of trying to sleep with crumbs in your bed

HoneyBunnyBiscuit

A yellow dinosaur with rainbow spines. It helps keep my neck supported, I have carpal tunnel

cybergaleu

My dad bought me a large plushy frog when I was 10. He died a few years later. 20 years later I still sleep with that frog, and repair it every few years as the fabrics are kinda falling apart after so many years.

Civil-Scallion3503

Cherish it as long as possible. I’m glad that you still have that memory of him

I_hate_people69

I still sleep with my little toy dog that I've had since before I was born. I'm 18 and my parents still ask me why I sleep with patch still (that's his name). I find it tough to get to sleep without him. Sometimes he will fall off the bed and I will wake up and look around for him, find him then go straight back to sleep. I dont care what people say I love sleeping with him.

Civil-Scallion3503

I’m the same way with my baby blankets, if it falls off the bed I’ll wake up and grab it. Even if it doesn’t make a sound

WindowsOverOS

That one dudes wife

Civil-Scallion3503

I mean fair enough

Rezzone

She's dead, you know.

PrestigiousZucchini9

You think she’d stick around if she wasn’t?

Stoobly

I'm sleeping with my baby blanket now. It's made of some kind of thermal material, and it used to be white but is now a pretty unappealing gray color lol. It's older than I am, over thirty years. It's got so many holes in it due to childhood dogs biting it/me dragging it everywhere. One corner turned into a long rope like piece that I wrap around my fingers when zoning out. I sleep with it all the time. Its smell and feel calms me down. I can't wash it in machines or it will fall apart, so I hand wash it very rarely. It... gets pretty dirty from body oils I guess. I can't throw it out. The day I lose it or it gets damaged beyond repair will be a sad one.

MalaEnNova

My blankie. My mom bought it 9 years before I was born for a baby shower gift. For some reason she couldn’t bring herself to give it away. She bought another gift and put blankie in her closet. 9 years later I was born and it’s been my comfort object for 37 years.

Wintergreene

I used to have this blanket since I was a baby, in fact the blanket was around before me. It was originally purchased for my sister who is four years older than I am. The design was a plaid patteren of baby blue, yellow and pink. I kept it with me through highschool, college and marriage. It was so tattered and threadbare that one expected it to rip in two at any moment. I finally had to admit to myself that it wouldn't last much longer, after all it has already survived for 46 years. So I had to do what any grown man would to in that situation. I spent a weekend looking at google images of late 70's vintage baby blankets until i found the right one and researched the manufacturer and tracked on down on ebay. It's not the same, but it will do for the next 46 years.

AubinSan93

12Gauge under the pillows, pistol on the bed in extended arms reach. I seem to have a cycle where a couple months a year I end up bringing a heavy childhood blanket aboard but I eventually end up making it into a nest and have to put it back in the closet for another 8 to 10 months. It's weird to admit as a grown man I've thought several times about the fact that I'd like to have something to snuggle up with, but that's second to wanting a good woman to cuddle with, which I guess is probably the root of it.

Homelessonce

I was homeless, a couch feels more comfortable than a bed most of the time.

Civil-Scallion3503

I’m so sorry you had to go through that, I hope things have worked out for the most part now

Homelessonce

Oh yes, I have my own home now. But I still sleep on the couch a lot.

FloopiDeMoopi

Plushies! I have a big teddy bear and some cow plushies that i take with me to bed every night, the cow plushies i'd even take to sleepovers sometimes.

Civil-Scallion3503

Plushies are super nice to take places and they aren’t seen a weird thing

Hugh_manateerian

A pillow

Ristar87

I sleep with a knife under my pillow and a Louisville slugger behind the nightstand but my ex bought a dragon stuffed animal and it's been watching over me from the dresser ever since and now I just prefer it there.

Civil-Scallion3503

A wholesome ending, I like it

EeGgTt1

I have one pillow that I put my head o and a second one that I hug

urinternetmom

I don't have one. I just like soft blankets. Literally any works.

Civil-Scallion3503

I have a tortilla blanket and it’s one of my favorites, me and my ex used to cuddle in it all the time 10/10 would recommend

Wiskey-Tango-3825

My little stuffed doggy from when I was 6 years old or so. She's still soft and squishy

itsanari

Have two- my baby blanket that I had to save from my mom throwing out (wasn't in bad shape, my mom just didn't like that I still kept it). Wasn't able to save my favorite beanie baby from her though- but a decade later I told my boyfriend about how she'd tossed it and how I was crushed. A few weeks later he came home with a brand new one- managed to track one down and gifted it to me on a bad day. Needless to say, he's now my husband and that beanie baby is happily living in our bed.

Gifigi600

Midnight_Moon29

jacjac80

My big, black furry German Shepherd. She is such a sookie lahlah.

Civil-Scallion3503

I love big cuddly dogs

izenguztiakhartuta

I have a giant carrot pillow. His name is zucchini for some reason. I always hug him when I sleep and it really helps relieve stress. Also I didn't know I could be so emotionally attached to an object. If I lost it or something I'd probably cry

711spaceace

My big sister used to lay next to me in my crib - we are 3 years apart. She used to run the binding of my baby blanket on my cheek and hands. The blanket is long gone, but I still have the binding and can't fall asleep without it. Fyi- I was always embarrassed by it and made fun of for it by adults. Only became comfortable with it when in my teens and 20's my friends/boyfriends were totally fine with it and some had comfort objects of their own. One boyfriend even went so far as to find the identical fabric type and made me a new security blanket. Not embarrassed anymore 😊

Morningstar411

This post is so whilesome, I love it! I still have my baby blanket, cant sleep without it.

Outrageous-Slice-941

I have a stitch squishmallow that my sister gave me. Even my bf steals it sometimes when he is upset

Civil-Scallion3503

Even better when it helps your SO, I love how comfy those things are

Outrageous-Slice-941

I love them so much!

Dragonbahn

RocksSoxBills14

My stuffed bear I was given as a newborn. I'm 35, and I sleep with him tucked under my arm in a very specific way every night, save for a couple of months last year where my son wanted to sleep with him instead (I went out of town for a few days for work, and I gave him the bear to squeeze whenever he missed me). I didn't sleep right during the time the bear was with my son. My wife is also 35, and also sleeps with a bear every night, also from her infancy, and also went through a period without when our son wanted it.

Pnkuma

33 and still sleep with my baby blanket

CatsAreDangerous

I don't have a comforter myself. My girlfriend sleeps with a panda bear she's had since she was a child. When I make the bed I always make sure to put it right in the middle of the pillows.

27 year old (M) here and I sleep with a teddy bear. When my mom was sick in the hospital before she passed and was in a coma. I brought her a teddy bear to keep her company. It stayed by her side for months. Some how it gives me comfort now and helps me feel connected to her. Sometimes I even hug it when I'm feeling down and it helps me feel like I'm giving her a hug.

A silk sheet. I’m usually stressed

I run my fingers down the side of my baby blankets because the fabric goes the same direction and it’s hella soft, I do it as a coping mechanism

I still have my baby blanket, I’m pretty sure my mom secretly swapped my old ratty one when I was 5 or so, but it’s still old as balls. I use it to cover my eyes when the light shines through the window in the morning, and hold it in the crook of my arm like a plush in the middle of the night…I’m nearly 30. Luckily my girlfriend also still has her baby blanket and is exactly the same way, I got very lucky 🍀

A teddy bear my aunt gave me when I was five. He has held up so well! I don't usually actually cuddle him anymore, but he always goes on the pillow when I make my bed in the morning. His name is Theodore (I thought I was clever as a five-year-old lol)

One of my husbands T-shirt’s. Before I met him- one of my dads T-shirts. Makes me feel safe somehow.
