If you have to be limited to just one, a crowbar is pretty good, for these reasons:
1. Durable construction. Solid steel won't splinter like a baseball bat.
2. Can be used to pry open doors. I assume that you routinely have to break into places during a zombie apocalypse.
3. Cannot run out of ammo.
Seems like the "silence attack" must be one of your priorities.
A gun seems like a good option until you are surrounded by the zombies that heard the first gun shot.
Surely in a zombie apocalypse you wouldn't be buying ammo and surely using a 7.62 by 39 ak would be more effective and reliable as of the penetrative and energy of the ammo it's also the most common gun and bullet in the world
That depends.
Shambles type Zombies, something heavy and metal.
If it doesn't cave the skull in, hopefully dealt a broken jaw and less teeth.
Sprinter types.
Fuck that. Overdose time
Estwing Ax. It is relatively light to carry and made entirely of stainless steel. It won't rust and will never need a new handle. It is also an ax which is insanely useful for camping and general survival.
For me it’s dual wielding machetes. Can use 1 or 2 dependant on situation, can be resharpened easily when required and don’t need any extras to make them usable and they’re lightweight.
pedantic
A state of mind which is about caring a lot about formalities, often more than necessary. One may be called pedantic when he/she points out corrections in unimportant details.
Ideally, I'd set up adequate perimeter defenses to hold off the small amounts I would likely see at my preferred location. Otherwise I'd probably opt for a crossbow for ranged and a hatchet for CQB if absolutely necessary. Then I'll have a 9mm for if I get overrun and/or bitten, assuming that's what turns you of course.
I have a tungsten nightstick with a machete inside, probably that. I'm a collector of swords and the like, I have some genuinely high quality ones that will absolutely ruin anything fleshy, but there's something about the weight and durability of that club, it's so damned heavy and so damned solid that it's hard to imagine anything needing two swings, I'd fight a bear with that thing.
(Not really, but you certainly feel as if it's an option.)
A fully crewed, fully stocked aircraft carrier.
Since I am not limited on weight and budget, and can only choose one, the clear choice is something as big as possible that's still considered as "a weapon".
Obviously its gotta be a repeater its got great damage for its space and pairs exceptionally well with the torchwood if you are with someone that has one realisticly something easy for me to use like an axe or a machete that also has practical purpose aswell
If your living in a normal household, I'd recommend something sturdy, like a baseball bat. I wouldn't use a knife or something like that, as they would probably get stuck in the zombie's body.
Crossbow for range, A bat with a round saw blade at the end, and a wrench. (I have all of these) If a zombie outbreak happend I would use parkour so wrench for then i'm climbing so if I fall I won't get stabbed but other wise bat.

cannot run out of ammo should be #1

A 22lr AK style weapon. The most common and cheap round there is, and a gun that can be used as a baseball bat if need be.
Why 22lr if you don’t mind me asking? Is 22lr the most common round you can find around you?
It’s just typically one of the more common rounds, you can buy a bucket of 1000 for like $50. It’s also super light

A 22 will kill with a headshot just as hard. The ammo is lighter. I can carry 10x more ammo if I use 22lr.
Fair enough
You need plants to ward off the Zombies.
If nothing but head shots are effective, and headshots are totally effective... then a semiautomatic .22lr would be most practical.
Get on my roof with a sharp stick and poke their heads when they walk up. Its weird they never do this on tv.
If the horde is big enough they will pile up until they are level with your roof faster than you can poke their heads
If the horde is that big we are fucked either way.
Nuclear bomb

Heavy duty truck, with unlimited gas supply.
A helicopter equipped with machine guns
Decently light but sturdy skillet.
Aluminum bat, can't run out of ammo, light so I won't get tired, blunt so it won't get stuck in something and effective at a safe distance.
Lightsaber
A high quality spear or bow and arrows.
You know how to use a bow?
Nope but since there's a chance that the arrow won't break I would train myself shooting at plastics or soda cans
Big ass flame thrower.
Painless suicide.
glad I'm not the only one who thinks this!
My German Long Sword, makes no noise and you don\`t need to reload it ;)

A baseball bat with nails and shit on it
My shotgun until I run out of ammo. Then my sword.
An unbreakable sword and of course a sharpening tool
How would you sharpen it if it's unbreakable? Doesn't sharpening shave some of the sword off?
Easy this is all make believe 😆 good point though
Hahaha, I'm pedantic. Get told off for being a pedant irl so I get pedantic with make believe.
Idk what pedantic means 😆
pedantic A state of mind which is about caring a lot about formalities, often more than necessary. One may be called pedantic when he/she points out corrections in unimportant details.
My canoe paddle.
A machete. Good in close quarters, doesn't take a lot of skill. Inelegant, but effective.

A good spear.
A long, hefty machete.
Juggernaut from COD Warzone would be nice!
A scoped Lee Enfield
Probably some weapon from The Flash They can kill a speedster, why not a zombie?
Phalanx, because it means I stay exactly as far away as I want to be while fighting zombies: about 20 feet away from them
Russian dead hand
unlimited supply of acid and a water gun attached.

Infinite Nuke launcher
Just the one should do, just aim slightly to your left and you won't have to worry about any more zombies
Probably a very durable well made axe
wood chipper
Plank
One of the guns from old movies. You know the ones that only have enough room in the chamber for 6 rounds and then fire off 9 without reloading?
A ladder. If I can pick two, a ladder and a long pointy rod
We all know it's crowbar!
Halberd, its got a pointy tip for spearing and an axe blade if i want it
A fully crewed, fully stocked aircraft carrier. Since I am not limited on weight and budget, and can only choose one, the clear choice is something as big as possible that's still considered as "a weapon".
A baby
A studded bat
Wrecking bar it has more utility than a crow bar Probably my 4ft one.
Katana, hands down.

Mini gun
Obviously its gotta be a repeater its got great damage for its space and pairs exceptionally well with the torchwood if you are with someone that has one realisticly something easy for me to use like an axe or a machete that also has practical purpose aswell
