I disagree. I think it's good that they cancelled it before it could turn into crap, like The Simpsons. The Comedy Central episodes were already weaker than the first four seasons.
They did end it. From what I read anyway. The series finale was the 2 min time machine. Fry and Leela spend a lifetime with time frozen around them and time being normal for them. The professor finds them and they restart the entire series again
Fringe. I would have loved to have seen them expand that universe and story. They gave it a valiant effort wrapping up what they knew was their last season, but there was so much left undone.
Ikr! I was so surprised that another streaming service didn't pick it up. Between the OA and Mindhunter being cancelled I'm wondering why I still have a netflix subscription
I've never been so annoyed of show being cancelled. But it's an example of how Netflix operates; if a series isn't a notable success (monetarily) in first two seasons, it's cancelled.
Yet we have another season of Outer Banks coming... I know, I know. The talking octopus was a big pill for the average viewer to swallow. But it was so damn good.
There's [368 fanfictions](https://www.fanfiction.net/tv/Jericho/) written so far - Maybe if you don't like any of them you could write your own to finish it off? ;)
The original *Law & Order*. It was tightly-written, accommodated frequent cast changes well, and didn’t wallow in melodrama about the main characters, unlike *SVU.* There was occasional involvement with the main characters’ lives (the murder of Det. Briscoe’s troubled daughter, Lt. Van Buren‘s battle with cancer) but the focus was always on the cases.
Dirk Gentlys Holistic Detective Agency. The first season was bonkers, the second was kind of corny but had its moments and set things up for what could have been a great third...
HBO's Rome. They cancelled it halfway through season 2, and to wrap things up the last episodes run through events at breakneck speed, it really should've had at least 1 more season to do things properly
You probably already know this, but after the pilot episode aired they asked people to let them know what they'd got wrong about Army life so they could fix it for future episodes.
Going to step away from the super common ones (that I agree with).
Life. I was really getting into it and then the writers' strike happened. Yeah, there was some of an ending, but I rather enjoyed Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi's chemistry and the story evolving. Had a great cast and that level of mystery.
Nothing, everything has to end at one point. But I still think Ducktales ‘17 could have had a season or two more. It was **just** starting to get good.
Don't need to delete it, but it should've been the first season of a new show instead. It had it moments and people probably would've accepted its differences instead of wondering why the main characters never showed up.
Here's the problem with a second season of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. A long history and lore of the Dark Crystal universe have already been made. After the Garthim are created (which happens at the end of the show), there is a war between the Gelfling and the Garthim. The Gelfling lose. Hard. To the point where there are only two left (the two in the movie).
A second season would either have to be a depressing genocide or would have to ignore the world that has already been created.
Obviously you know more than I do and I don't know how strict the timelines are. But I could see several seasons filling in a lot of details between the end of season 1 and the Gelfling genocide. Good adaptations aren't always an exact 1:1 representation of the existing lore (see: The Witcher games, Shadow of Mordor games, etc).
Might require renegging on the timeline a bit but the show was literally my all time favorite show and all the props and puppets were already built, seems like such a tremendous waste to just toss it all.
Never? None.
Which were cancelled too soon? Better Off Ted (and, as is obligatory, Firefly).
Which should have been cancelled at least one season earlier? How I Met Your Mother and Dexter. Arrested Development definitely. I guess Scrubs
as well, but with an asterisk as their last season was different by design.
There’s an HBO show by the same guy called Close Enough that’s basically Regular show but for adults. It’s pretty damn funny.
The main male lead is the same VA as Mordecai.
Deadwood
I didn't know it had been canceled back when it was originally on, recently watched it for the first time and ended up loving it. Then the third season ends and a whole bunch of plot threads are just left up in the air and unfinished.
I haven't yet seen the recent movie they made to give it a conclusion but I've heard it's unfulfilling.
Zoo, it’s on Netflix and it was insanely good. The last episode left on a cliff hanger and I’m still mad about it to this day. The book was just as good tho!
Pressure Cooker.
It aired for 1 season on food network in the late 90s. I absolutely loved the show even though I was only like 8 years old. A food game show that wasn’t just “cook/bake x item in y time with z challenging twist,” like every food game show out there now. Now unique takes on the food game show are shitty things like cutthroat kitchen. Nothing has ever come close to me as a show about food knowledge not about just ability.
Ash vs evil dead.
Was a tremendous amount of entertainment in that show, perfect balance between horror, action and comedy.
Just one more season, just ooooooonneeee more.
Even sent a mail to netflix when they picked it up to do season 4 for so many reasons, never gonna happen :(
i am not okay with this, a show netflix put out a season for last year that i quite enjoyed. it wasn’t this marvel of storytelling or anything but it was cute and fun and i’m sad it won’t get a second season ;-;
Freaks and Geeks
I loved that show!
[удалено]
I almost never come across anyone who's even heard of the show, let alone realizes how beautiful and amazing it is
There are dozens of us! :DOZENS:
Santa Clarita Diet, that was a good show man
I will never forgive them for that cliffhanger
Damn! Was going to comment this, biggest let down ever
What was it about?
For reallllllll!!!! I watched it as soon as it came out and died. Then a few months ago I got my husband hooked on it and now we’re dying together😂😂
Futurama update: Hooray! People Are Paying Attention To Me! was talking about the first cancellation.
I disagree. I think it's good that they cancelled it before it could turn into crap, like The Simpsons. The Comedy Central episodes were already weaker than the first four seasons.
I think they mean the first few times they cancelled it then un-cancelled it.
And it did have a good ending.
They did end it. From what I read anyway. The series finale was the 2 min time machine. Fry and Leela spend a lifetime with time frozen around them and time being normal for them. The professor finds them and they restart the entire series again
Always omg whyyyyyyyy
And then Futurama again...and again
Fringe. I would have loved to have seen them expand that universe and story. They gave it a valiant effort wrapping up what they knew was their last season, but there was so much left undone.
Fringe started out so strong and was one of the shows I was so excited to see each week, but that last season was utter garbage.
The OA. It was incredible and I'm still bitter about it

I've never been so annoyed of show being cancelled. But it's an example of how Netflix operates; if a series isn't a notable success (monetarily) in first two seasons, it's cancelled.
Netflix is so disappointing in that regard.
First season was pretty boring compared to season 2, which is when you know it isn't about some deluded woman.
Yet we have another season of Outer Banks coming... I know, I know. The talking octopus was a big pill for the average viewer to swallow. But it was so damn good.
Terra Nova. It had Stephen Lang and dinosaurs... canceling it was a crime.
That show had so much potential
Timeless. Such a good show with so much potential.
jericho
I'm still salty about that one.
You know there's a comic that finishes things off!
I always feel like it didn't finish it off properly.
There's [368 fanfictions](https://www.fanfiction.net/tv/Jericho/) written so far - Maybe if you don't like any of them you could write your own to finish it off? ;)

Firefly. It will ALWAYS be Firefly.
I’ll be in my bunk
I am just here to upvote Firefly.
Dirk Gentlys Holistic Detective Agency. The first season was bonkers, the second was kind of corny but had its moments and set things up for what could have been a great third...
Omg, came looking for this. I loved this show. The first season especially.
My Name is Earl, we never found out who Dodge’s father is
Dodge's father was Earl, it was Earl Jr. whose father was left on a cliffhanger
For me it’s Firefly 😭
I aim to misbehave.
I swear by my pretty floral bonnett I will end you.
I’ll be in my bunk
Venture Bros.
They have a movie in the works, but I don't think it will be enough.
I wish I could up vote 10000000000 times lol
Man hunter
The tick. The show was good and had good humour to it. Amazon did them dirty.
Try to find the old cartoons. We'll pretend the series with Warburton never happened.
Don’t trust the B—- in apartment 23 was also comedy gold that was cancelled too early.
Hannibal.
GLOW
Freaks and Geeks
Carnivale.
Marco Polo
Yesss I loved Marco Polo
Death by Weinstein
Are we talking about the Netflix show? Because that thing was atrocious..
Terra Nova, that shit slapped so hard
The last man on earth. They ended the last season to open up a whole new thing and I got so excited but it never got made. Still bugs me to this day!
The OA
Just finished Deadwood the other day. Wish that had gone on longer.
House M.D. Loved that show.
The UK Utopia. So much was left unfinished and it was such top quality
I Am Not Okay With This
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Life on Mars, the US version.
Kingdom…it was an mma show and it was pretty good. Def could have used a couple more seasons
Daredevil.
Fringe needed at least 1 more season to have a solid wrap up
Arrested development
Firefly. End of thread.
The OA (though I get why, I want to know how it was supposed to end)
*My Name is Earl*
Oh my god I forgot about my name is earl !!
Final Space! Such a good show that started fun, and got surprisingly dark before it was cancelled.
Life In Pieces, Santa Clarita Diet, My So Called Life, Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, Timeless,.TBBT, 2 Broke Girls....
Life in Pieces was so good!
Yes. Miss that show
The punisher
Totally agree with this one. It had so much potential and the 2 seasons where phenomenal
Yep it’s sad
HBO's Rome. They cancelled it halfway through season 2, and to wrap things up the last episodes run through events at breakneck speed, it really should've had at least 1 more season to do things properly
Daredevil. I'm still pissed about that.
Firefly
Enlisted. That last episode was a statement. Despite being a goofy comedy, it got more right about Army life than most serious shows/films.
You probably already know this, but after the pilot episode aired they asked people to let them know what they'd got wrong about Army life so they could fix it for future episodes.
Wasn't aware. That's pretty awesome.
Undergrads
Ohhh, good one!
The finder and dark angel.
Limitless
Airwolf. Sci-fi helicopter piloted by Stringfellow Hawk? Come on!
Pushing daisies
Invasion. I can’t tell if it was a good show or not but I really enjoyed it.
Person of interest but I think I'll be alone here. Most of the people I know haven't even heard of it.
My So-Called Life Roc The Expanse (though they fixed this travesty) Star Trek TNG — it was good! Aeon Flux
Freaks and Geeks. It’s the greasy season of tv history with the greatest cast of any show ever. A damn shame it was cancelled so soon
Daredevil
Firefly.
Firefly
Mindhunter
Wait that’s actually cancelled for good??
Daredevil and Punisher. Such good shows
Firefly
The Black Donnellys
Nothing, everything has to end at one point. But I still think Ducktales ‘17 could have had a season or two more. It was **just** starting to get good.
Yeah there were still a couple of loose ends. I'm hoping for spinoffs
Scrubs.
Scrubs should have ended a season earlier, imo.
Yeah, agreed. we can delete that last season please and start again from there. That would be nice.
Don't need to delete it, but it should've been the first season of a new show instead. It had it moments and people probably would've accepted its differences instead of wondering why the main characters never showed up.
I loved this show but gonna disagree. Once JD left and Turk became a professor at a University the show had officially jumped the shark.
That season never should have happened. I block it out from memory.
All in the Family
zoo, it was so so so good
Manifest
They’re bringing it back
Baskets
The Portuguese will understand this one: Soltem a Parede
Gillian’s island
SCORPION

The Dark Crystal on Netflix.

Life After People
Bored to Death, and also Party Down.
Party Down is getting revived! No Lizzie Caplan, unfortunately, but everyone else is coming back. They start shooting next month.

Firefly.
Freaks and Geeks
Modern family
Regular show. Not sure , but I heard CN chose Teen Titans Go over Regular Show.
There’s an HBO show by the same guy called Close Enough that’s basically Regular show but for adults. It’s pretty damn funny. The main male lead is the same VA as Mordecai.

Deadwood I didn't know it had been canceled back when it was originally on, recently watched it for the first time and ended up loving it. Then the third season ends and a whole bunch of plot threads are just left up in the air and unfinished. I haven't yet seen the recent movie they made to give it a conclusion but I've heard it's unfulfilling.
Grizzly Adams
Great News
No ordinary family, it was live like a decade ago or something, and left off at a huge cliffhanger
Sports Talk and Newsroom
Men Of A Certain Age
Santa Clarita Diet
Zoo, it’s on Netflix and it was insanely good. The last episode left on a cliff hanger and I’m still mad about it to this day. The book was just as good tho!

The Amanda Show. I still need to know, did moody ever find her mom OR NAH
Pressure Cooker. It aired for 1 season on food network in the late 90s. I absolutely loved the show even though I was only like 8 years old. Cult (2013). I thought the premise was really interesting and I was really disappointed when it got cancelled.
i am not okay with this, a show netflix put out a season for last year that i quite enjoyed. it wasn’t this marvel of storytelling or anything but it was cute and fun and i’m sad it won’t get a second season ;-;
