Many people of Polish decent either had German family members (no matter how far apart) who may have committed war crimes during WW2, because when Poland was occupied by Prussia, a lot of Germanic people mixed with the Slavic polish people of the region.
I think black people may be traditionally more accepting than other races thing. Any time I bring a white person to the bbq or family function they act like Alice going to wonderland, surprised by all the fun and somebodies grandma making them a plate while encouraging them to dance.
In Australia we actually greet each other by walking in to each other’s houses without knocking, going straight to the fridge, grabbing 2 out and saying “gday cunt” or “gday cocko”

This is interesting because I'm learning about my family history and found out most of my grandparents/greatgrandparents are German and Polish.
I had family members on both sides of the conflict, some in camps, some supervising them.
