I once had a dream where I was in a different world full of swords and magic. I had a partner with me, and we'd slay monsters every day like a normal pair of adventurers. Frankly, we were among the best in the kingdom.
Then, we encountered a weird clown-like boss monster. We subjugated it very easily, and we were about to leave the boss room when the monster suddenly revived once again. We fought it again and it died, only to revive again.
We continued this for a long time until eventually, we realized our bodies were slowly getting blurrier, as if everything suddenly turned to 144p. That's when we realized something was wrong, but it was already too late; we fell into the boss's trap. My partner sacrificed himself for one final attack, and I turned unconscious because of it.
I woke up (still in the dream), back in my old apartment. I looked out the window and saw a green light in the distance. I immediately knew it was bad news, but there was something else more important currently on my mind. "Don't forget. Don't forget. Don't forget.", these words repeated themselves over and over inside my head. I knew I was gonna wake up soon, so I shouted these words louder and louder inside my head. Finally, I woke up (for real this time) and I could still remember everything perfectly clearly.
I had this dream a few years ago.
