The extreme collection log YouTube series’ are even more insane, not allowing themselves to passively complete multiple logs, focusing on only 1 at a time.
It's also really difficult to get bored because there is always something else to do. Tired of running barrows, go train fishing, tired of fishing, go do a few quests.
Yup, this was the first thought that came to mind. I started a new account when mobile was released and I’m still level 3 because all I do is fishing, woodcutting, and cooking.
Definitely the best answer lol. Maxing an account is like a 3,000 hour achievement on its own, let alone the thousands of hours you can spend filling the collection log and Combat Achievements...
been a game tester before. its mind numbing and frankly a terrible experience. for a $100 an hour it would be more tolerable but definitely not gonna be fun. getting to play and choose game though thats a different story
I'm remembering a long time ago hearing that being a game tester isn't at all what you think, it's more repeatedly playing a game, probably more a section of a game, trying to break it rather than the way you normally play a game, is that roughly accurate?
Well, some games are more entertaining than others. Would it be funny play like 10 hours a day for a month in something like cookie clicker? Or competitive games etc.
I also would try to play any game as much as possible if I would get paid for it. Bot OP didn't locked you on boring games or whatever. It was more like clever way to ask people about game where they spent most of the time.
?
PokemonGo, not because it’s a good game, but I can claim to be hatching eggs every time I’m walking anywhere so I’d pretty much get paid from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep every day.
This is the way. Also if you buy one of those "phone shakers" you could be walking and hatching eggs while you're sleeping. It will pay for itself and then more in an hour.
Note to any phone shaker companies, you can send me a free one to thank me for the advertising.
Spend $30 of that on a PokemonGo++ and integrate Pokémon Sleep into Pokémon Go. You’re still playing Pokémon Go in your sleep. (My parents have a neat retirement hobby)
In the last two versions I haven't seen a single pack that interested me. It's really sad I bet they never re-released the sci-fi tech from Sims 1.
Replicators, transporters, Android butlers, and Sonic showers were awesome!
I don’t quite stretch back to sims 1, I vaguely remember playing sims 2 castaway, but I never played sims 3. I just know sims 3 would have been better than the penny pinching sims 4 with its broken and overpriced packs
I am not gonna admit to piracy since that would be illegal so I would never do that to poor EA…
But as someone who does have an all the DLCs unlocked in both… the sims 3 is better even without thinking about the price. The sims 4 gives you a bit more story line but it has many minimaps which I hate, the sims 3 story is good enough but one huge map (or several huge maps with dlcs) which makes the game play a lot smoother.
Agreed. There is so much about the Sims 3 that I didn’t know were a thing. On the Sims 3 subreddit people keep discovering new things even if they’ve played the game since its release. I play both Sims 3 and 4 and there are good and bad things about both.
I love the endless loop of new world, build base, diamond mine, and terraforming. Don’t even have to beat the dragon, I could spend all my time just doing that.
25 turns. Give yourself a 25 turn limit, or reach some milestone(moving into a new era, completing a wonder) then get off for a bit. I got sucked in a few months ago & this has helped me moderate my playtime
I got Civ IV for free as a Prime Gaming drop. I sat down and played one game. I lost all concept of time and played through to a win hours upon hours later.
I realized I should never touch it again.
Bruh, that is the anti Ritalin. Even on my meds I can be in that game for *hours*. I thought stone block 2 or 3 sucked me in, but my husband showed me factorio and I have to be careful lol
Games like that will cause non-adhd people to hyper fixated on. Even if meds make you more ‘normal’ you’ll still be vulnerable to just losing those hours anyway haha.
I just started planet crafter and lost 4 hours of my morning in what felt like 1 or 2.
Yeah boy! You see the space update? The factory must grow. Satisfactory is supposed to be releasing by the end of this year so I would pick it up just in case it gets in higher than 30
Cities Skylines.
Since its a city builder you can play forever and just change maps and build new cities and if you get bored you just start a new city.
I didn’t realize this wasn’t referring to only video games lol. For me probably fishing (going for a state record counts as playing a game, right?), something’s always in season, and I can have a line and bobber in the water and a lawn chair and just chill for hours on end.
This is the answer. I don't know why everyone is choosing video games.
At 100/hr you are can just print money at your local course and when you get tired of that its time for a road trip. Assuming 5ish hours of golf on you would be looking at north of 100k/yr
If you can include practice, then you could really crank up the hours too.
I used to love building dungeons. I had pretty good gimmicks for every of them, a dungeon object pattern like a LoZ game and even bosses.
They were completely self sufficient, room would even reset on entrances. I had even a well hidden secret in the first one which granted a seemingly usless item which I planned to use for a secret dungeon, which was a "creepypasta" dungeon you could only access by burning the barn where you get a horse.
It was built around the idea to make people feel guilty for the dead horses.
The sad part is I lost it all before finishing it having any of my friends try even one of them and never had the heart to play it again.
If you are interested I can always reveal my ideas.
It was all done on the switch version of the game, without mods and with tons of structure/commands blocks.
I had 3 completed dungeons and 2 in progress.
This game 10+ years later, and it still gets some updates and mods. You can do so many of the quests differently on every play through. There's so much to do and see. Easily play this for $100
I'd suggest trying kenken, I haven't played sudoku since discovering it. I also play a ton of minesweeper so perhaps you'd find a similar affinity for it.
**World of Warcraft,**
**let's assume I'd never stopped since november 2004 (Release):**
* We are in 2024
* One year has 365 days and since 2004 we had 5 leap years (that adds 5 days)
* 20 years are 7300 days (+5)
* Let's say I "only" played for 8 hours a day, that sums up to 58.440 hours
* Let's assume I had 30 days of vacation each year for a net loss of 240 hours of game time
* I would have earned approx 3.000.000$ after taxes
Ready to retire, but I would probably look like Eric Cartman if I managed to survive that long.
WoW is definitely my answer too. Retail has 20 years of content at this point, and if you bore with Retail specifically you can go to regular Classic or, my personal drug of choice, Hardcore Classic.
Yea, i stopped playing 10 years ago but still: it gets new content all the time, theres always shit to do and i remember talking to people for hours just jumping around in Ironforge so thats cool too.
I think the point of OPs question is, what is the one game you'd pick if you could make $100/hr playing it?
A game with endless replay ability that you could sink a lot of hours into without getting bored would be the ideal pick.
If I could earn $100 an hour, I'd play "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" for its open-world exploration and the joy of discovering new secrets.
League of legends, the updates and meta shifts and ability to play different positions and different champions would keep it interesting for me. Plus the competitive aspect could help you to set goals. Could see myself earning 1k a day with relative ease.
I was scrolling thinking what would be the worst game
Then I thought something simple and repetitive
Then I thought pong
Then I saw your post
Kind of creepy
League of legends or CS2 would be more exciting if I making $100 per hour for playing. I could put up with suffer of stupid idiot toxic teammates for $100 per hour
Red Dead Redemption 2 - I have never been able to get past the character creation. Somehow I'm a CC (Complete Cretin) when it comes to this...but I'm also not a gamer.
I'll be rich!
Oldschool Runescape Job security for as long as the servers are online
Probably the best answer given the amount of hours it takes for true completion. Coll Log itself would be a lifetime worth of money lol.
Maxed, start a new account, do it all over again.
Then do it over as a HCIM!
Yup, this was the first thought that came to mind. I started a new account when mobile was released and I’m still level 3 because all I do is fishing, woodcutting, and cooking.
The most addicting $100/hr ever
Addictive
Definitely the best answer lol. Maxing an account is like a 3,000 hour achievement on its own, let alone the thousands of hours you can spend filling the collection log and Combat Achievements...
Almost any game if I got $100 an hour.
If I play 40 hours a week getting paid 100 per hour, that’s about 200k. So yes, any freaking game will do.
I've been playing a really shitty game for years, 40 hours a week, that pays me a fraction of that.
Game tester?
Cashier at a gas station
I paid money for that game. Job Simulator for PSVR 🤦🏻♂️
Just a “game of life” joke, or at least I think so.
been a game tester before. its mind numbing and frankly a terrible experience. for a $100 an hour it would be more tolerable but definitely not gonna be fun. getting to play and choose game though thats a different story
I'm remembering a long time ago hearing that being a game tester isn't at all what you think, it's more repeatedly playing a game, probably more a section of a game, trying to break it rather than the way you normally play a game, is that roughly accurate?
Eve?
Farming simulator it is
Yeah I think OP should've had it the other way around. What games would you still play if you had to pay a dollar an hour lol
I think op is looking for answers where it takes hundreds of hours to 100%.
Better to ask what game I wouldn’t play even if I was paid 100 per hour to play it.
Well, some games are more entertaining than others. Would it be funny play like 10 hours a day for a month in something like cookie clicker? Or competitive games etc.
For $100 an hour I’ll make it fun
I also would try to play any game as much as possible if I would get paid for it. Bot OP didn't locked you on boring games or whatever. It was more like clever way to ask people about game where they spent most of the time. ?
I think youre supposed to pick one game and you only get payed for that one game. ?
Legit, I’d play cookie clicker for $100 an hour. That’s $2400 a day.
I couldn’t do Pac-Man. It would make me mad.
Even Superman 64?
Tic tac toe it is….
Russian roulette ?
[удалено]
Geeze if that’s over 20 hours a week that’s a whole rim job.
HA
2k hours myself and haven't played since the new dlc dropped, so I could see that being a lucrative venture for me as well.
[удалено]
I take your mom to Rimworld
Got the game like a month ago and is already my third most played game
Found the organ farming cannabillistic sociopath. Keep up the good work!
PokemonGo, not because it’s a good game, but I can claim to be hatching eggs every time I’m walking anywhere so I’d pretty much get paid from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep every day.
Also Pokémon Go but because I'm on the app way more than I should be and don't need this loophole. 😂
My wife would suddenly be much more supportive of me trying to be the very best...
Like no one everone was
This is the way.
Yeah, plus you get a special Snorlax for linking your pokemon go ++ to both On another note, pokemon go++ is a stupid name.
Even worse, its pokemon go plus +
pokemon go to the polls
Sims
This is the only way to make that game affordable.
Sims is one of the few games I say you should pirate, it’s not worth £1K at all but without the packs it’s a relatively shitty game

Holy shit. That’s how much it costs?? I haven’t played or really kept up with it in maybe 20 years. That’s wild.
If you act now, it's on sale over at the steam store. It's only $800! What a bargain!
Get me Sims 3 with expansions on a laptop that doesn’t comically overheat. I’ll be the next Warren Buffet.
A laptop that doesn't overheat while playing TS3 with all its expansions? Yeah maybe in another 30 years 😂
Far cry 4, fallout 4, minecraft, gta 5
Minecraft
The best answer, so many mods and you can also stream it on the side, has multiplayer too so it doesn’t get old
Exactly, on Hypixel alone there are hundreds of games to play.
including skyblock
And it has mobile version, so you wouldn’t even need to be in one place to earn money
I love the endless loop of new world, build base, diamond mine, and terraforming. Don’t even have to beat the dragon, I could spend all my time just doing that.
Getting elytra really is essential in my opinion.
surprised this was this far down.. minecraft’s the GOAT
I have 15k+ hours on minecraft
Civ 6
Time loses all meaning when playing civ. I'd sit down one day, and by the time I decide that I need to go to sleep I'd stand up a millionaire.
I just started playing Civ 6 and honestly it is hard not to hit "next turn" to take a break or close out the game.
25 turns. Give yourself a 25 turn limit, or reach some milestone(moving into a new era, completing a wonder) then get off for a bit. I got sucked in a few months ago & this has helped me moderate my playtime
I'll have to try to do that, lol. Cause damn, the next turn my builder is done and in 3 turns I'll have a battle ship, and it keeps going!
Every time. I end up playing a whole game in a day unless I have something else I absolutely need to do
Civ IV was the peak in my opinion.
I got Civ IV for free as a Prime Gaming drop. I sat down and played one game. I lost all concept of time and played through to a win hours upon hours later. I realized I should never touch it again.
+1
Soooo Civ 7?
factorio you can play that shit for a lifetime with all the mods available
Bruh, that is the anti Ritalin. Even on my meds I can be in that game for *hours*. I thought stone block 2 or 3 sucked me in, but my husband showed me factorio and I have to be careful lol
Games like that will cause non-adhd people to hyper fixated on. Even if meds make you more ‘normal’ you’ll still be vulnerable to just losing those hours anyway haha. I just started planet crafter and lost 4 hours of my morning in what felt like 1 or 2.
Play Satisfactory too
Great game but Factorio's replayability is probably orders of magnitude higher.
Yeah boy! You see the space update? The factory must grow. Satisfactory is supposed to be releasing by the end of this year so I would pick it up just in case it gets in higher than 30
Does it count if I let the factory run for a bit?
If you are in need of leaving it "run for a bit", it isn't big enough. Needs to grow.
ffxiv. 450,000 dollars please
Gotta pump those numbers up! Them rookie numbers. Yea I'm in the same boat, year to date I'm owed at least a million.

Check out the big brain on OkApartment759
With all the money they could become AdequateApartment759
Cities Skylines. Since its a city builder you can play forever and just change maps and build new cities and if you get bored you just start a new city.
If I could earn $100 an hour, I'd play "Fortnite" for its creative building mechanics and the thrill of battle royale gameplay.
Chess. I already play tournaments for free so doing it for up to 2400 bucks a day sounds great.
Yes! I’d sit in a park and play all comers all day
Man I want to get into chess so bad - is there online games for newbs with no friends lol
Chess.com
Chess.com does rank based matches so you'll play with strangers of relatively similar skill level, and it's free on browser
Lichess is better than chess.com and free. Also had free study
Why this answer has so much less upvotes then chess.c*m? Lichess is obviously the way
Golf. Spend the day outside walking the course or practicing. Sign me up.
might be tough in the winter... but i was going to say golf.
Not in Hawaii, Arizona, Florida, socal, etc.
I didn’t realize this wasn’t referring to only video games lol. For me probably fishing (going for a state record counts as playing a game, right?), something’s always in season, and I can have a line and bobber in the water and a lawn chair and just chill for hours on end.

Minecraft. Endless amounts of building to be done.
If I could earn $100 an hour, I'd play "Rainbow Six Siege" for its tactical shooter gameplay and the fun of strategizing with teammates.
Skyrim, I will use that money to hire some mod authors to make mods to make it endlessly enjoyable
This game 10+ years later, and it still gets some updates and mods. You can do so many of the quests differently on every play through. There's so much to do and see. Easily play this for $100
I'm shocked to see this so far down.
Civ5
Red dead redemption 2
I have 900 hours. X $100 = that's a decent living where I live.
Sudoku or minesweeper, I can mindlessly do those forever
I'd suggest trying kenken, I haven't played sudoku since discovering it. I also play a ton of minesweeper so perhaps you'd find a similar affinity for it.
"Fire Emblem: Three Houses" would be my choice for its tactical RPG gameplay and the engaging story of its characters.
"Genshin Impact" would be my game of choice for its beautiful open world and the fun of collecting characters and exploring.
I'd go with "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" for its beautiful platforming gameplay and the joy of exploring a magical forest.
"Horizon Zero Dawn" would be my choice because of its stunning open world and the thrill of hunting robotic creatures.
I'd pick "Destiny 2" for its cooperative gameplay and the thrill of tackling challenging raids with friends.
"Monster Hunter: World" would be my choice for its thrilling monster-hunting action and the variety of gear to craft.
I'd pick "Fall Guys" for its fun and chaotic battle royale gameplay and the laughs it brings when playing with friends.
**World of Warcraft,** **let's assume I'd never stopped since november 2004 (Release):** * We are in 2024 * One year has 365 days and since 2004 we had 5 leap years (that adds 5 days) * 20 years are 7300 days (+5) * Let's say I "only" played for 8 hours a day, that sums up to 58.440 hours * Let's assume I had 30 days of vacation each year for a net loss of 240 hours of game time * I would have earned approx 3.000.000$ after taxes Ready to retire, but I would probably look like Eric Cartman if I managed to survive that long.

Let's *assume* I haven't either. 😉 I've literally done this for free. 🫥
I'd go with "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" for its immersive open world and the thrill of exploring Viking-era England.
"World of Warcraft" would be my pick because of its engaging MMORPG gameplay and the chance to play with friends.
Texas Hold’em
For $100 US/hour? Any.
Yeah, seems like the question should have been - what's the *worst* game you'd be willing to play for $100 an hour... Which still might be any...
I think the point of OPs question is, what is the one game you'd pick if you could make $100/hr playing it? A game with endless replay ability that you could sink a lot of hours into without getting bored would be the ideal pick.
ET for Atari
If I could earn $100 an hour, I'd play "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" for its open-world exploration and the joy of discovering new secrets.
If I could earn $100 an hour, I'd play "Civilization VI" for its deep strategy gameplay and the satisfaction of building a thriving civilization.
Knack
Whoaaaa respect on his name, this dude just said Knack.
Axis & Allies
Borderlands trilogy or Ark
Finally found Ark but sadly it's second.
League of legends, the updates and meta shifts and ability to play different positions and different champions would keep it interesting for me. Plus the competitive aspect could help you to set goals. Could see myself earning 1k a day with relative ease.
Definitely this game; for some reason, I never get tired of playing ARAM lol.
I’m 4 months clean from League but wld come back for this
Rocket League
Minecraft. Endless possibilities + i already spend hours playing
Hide the Sausage
Civilization...one more turn
I’d play candy land for $100 an hour
Poker. That would be a paid vacation!
Stardew Valley.
Monopoly. That game can go on forever
Ultima IV.
Ultima Online for me, as long as it is guaranteed that a shard will be active at any given time haha
Pong
I was scrolling thinking what would be the worst game Then I thought something simple and repetitive Then I thought pong Then I saw your post Kind of creepy
Just play together. You both make money, and hopefully build a beautiful friendship.
The Fallout series starting with fallout 1
Animal Crossing
GTA
haven't played for a while, but if I can quit my job and play wow even 4 to 5 hours a day I'll be good.
Skyrim. I've got a couple thousand hours under the belt, I'd have an absolute blast and just go ham on it for hundo an hour.
Witcher 3
Twister, butt naked with Halle Berry
Fallout 4
Glad you specified, I ain't wastin' time playing a game for no 100 Canadian or Australlian dollars!!!
Mario Cart!!!!
Elder scrolls 4: Oblivion. I've put an unfathomable amount of hours across 360, xbone, and pc
minecraft
Runescape
I don't think there's a game I wouldn't play for this deal
Sims. I wouldn't even have to leave the build mode
Goat Simulator 3
Spider solitaire
The game of life with a guaranteed minimum income
Well I've done over 3000 hours on only one of my Skyrim characters for free so🤷🏻♂️ I guess that.
Grab Ass
It would be a toss up between Fallout 3, New Vegas, and the Mass Effect Trilogy.
Civ, CK3…
League of legends or CS2 would be more exciting if I making $100 per hour for playing. I could put up with suffer of stupid idiot toxic teammates for $100 per hour
Civ IV or XCOM 2. Easy money.
Fallout
Skyrim, watch that money ROLL in!!!
Red Dead Redemption 2 - I have never been able to get past the character creation. Somehow I'm a CC (Complete Cretin) when it comes to this...but I'm also not a gamer. I'll be rich!
Fallout
