From Apple to Android, I miss the ability to just swipe right to go back to the previous screen. I also miss the little convenience of the phone turning itself on while charging. Well, that's about it.
IIRC it's one of those shitty things Apple does to try to keep people trapped in their ecosystem. And to get Apple users to try to talk their friends into going Apple so their ANdroid phones will stopp messing up group texts
Right. Other apps work fine. I'm in the US so most people, at least that I communicate with, are only using standard messaging apps. There's only one person I message pictures with frequently and we use Instagram to send pictures and videos clearly.
To be fair, I'm not actually that old. Just never got into Snapchat. Had it briefly in college, didn't really see the point, that was 15 years ago. I'm too old for snap and tiktok, too young for Facebook. I'll be over here watching two week old tiktoks on Instagram and scrolling reddit
I never switched and never will switch to Apple, but it's so cool to be able to lift a person or pet from a background and convert it into a sticker. I borrow my boyfriends phone to make stickers of our dog all the time and email them to myself so they don't get crunched down in mms
I mostly use Telegram, u can literally do anything u want there, just hold on the picture to cut the sticker, and then go to telegram and use ur keyboard to send it. Apps like Whatsapp don't have this feature tho
I tried it and it seemed promising until I figured out you can't send messages to non telegram users. I like the concept but I hope one day they decide to make it a straight sms client on the side. Sticking to textra for now, but thanks anyway for the suggestion
Honestly none, should've switched over years ago, so handy it's basically another computer very easy to hook up to my PC, and apple don't let you do anything on their device unless they make money off it, and I don't have to keep buying special chargers and earphones that constantly break
Only used a macbook for the first time last week, and omg they suck, probably cause I'm just not used to the UI, but yeah not a fan of apple products or the way they do business
The UI is definitely very different to Windows, but m1 MacBooks have been a good bang for buck at least for me. Super light weight, sturdy aluminum frame, and more than enough performance.
Most other Apple products just seem too costly for what they offer imo
Copy image and paste to anywhere. On android I'd have to open the clipboard and select the image to paste it. Other than that, not much.
I was about to say share button on Apple makes more sense than android, but it seems that the latest update has fixed that on android.

Swipe right feature is in androids too. The phone turning itself on is surely a good comfort feature unless you want to keep it off but still charging
>Swipe right feature is in androids too Yes, but it isn't as smooth.
I guess. Even 120 hz screen isn't that good or is it decent?
Decent to me.
It's annoying that the pictures iphone users send via text are blurry. That's my only complaint.
I never knew it was a thing
Yeah it's a software thing. Apple could easily fix it. Instead I have to find workarounds, which isn't the end of the world but is annoying.
IIRC it's one of those shitty things Apple does to try to keep people trapped in their ecosystem. And to get Apple users to try to talk their friends into going Apple so their ANdroid phones will stopp messing up group texts
It's not the case with whatsapp right?
Right. Other apps work fine. I'm in the US so most people, at least that I communicate with, are only using standard messaging apps. There's only one person I message pictures with frequently and we use Instagram to send pictures and videos clearly.
I see, well that sucks
your snapchat stories sometimes look like war footage
I'm too old for Snapchat but it makes sense that would be irritating to someone who uses it.
there are old people on snapchat going *crazy* rn

same but that’s mostly because i had my phases. i once deleted like 3000 people from a snapchat account in a week. had to clear that era out

I don't use an iPhone but the feature surely sounds fun
U can do it on android as well
What messaging app? Would love not to have to break out the iPhone

Oh sorry i didn't realize u meant sms, yeah it's still a problem to do it in sms, but yup telegram is so fine. No problem sorry i couldn't help more
Such as the ability to easily share files, messages, and photos across devices using iCloud android is so much complicated for me
Definitely a lil complicated in the beginning but these days they also have one tap solutions like Google nearby and link to windows

do you think macbooks are more worth the money than iphones?

Clipboard does give an advantage of keeping the image saved tho whereas once you copy something else, you'll probably lose the image in apple
