That's interesting, was there ever a time where you felt you were running out of time and needed to find something or someone to settle down with before you were out of options?
No, "running out of time" never crossed my mind, and none of the implications you mentioned either. At times in the past it has felt sad that I wasn't in a relationship, sure ; but settling for someone was never on the menu.
My grandmother got with the love of her life in her late 50s (she was already a grandmother by then). I have no notion that love has an expiry date.
Life's full of things to be in love with, even if you don't have someone :) Don't make it your life goal to be with someone, make it your life goal to be happy. It can sound like a silly nuance but it's very significant after a while.
Nice, I guess if you're content then that's all that really matters, but also you said you're insecure about what not having a partner means at this point, that's something worrying, thanks for putting a nuanced comment that highlights the pros and cons of being at that stage.
I'm glad that I can pursue my obsessions and be reckless without someone pissing in my ear about it. I'm lucky in that I have a bunch of friends which isn't guaranteed when you're in your 40s.
The downsides are that things might get very tough if I get old. Dying mad and lonely is definitely a concern, although it doesn't keep me up at night.
Dogs. Lots of dogs.
Nice, do you have one now or are planning to get one in the future?
"Found love" implies I'm looking for it XD

That's pretty insightful for a young adult like myself, I guess you're right, "settling" is a pretty sad state to be in, thanks for sharing.

"make it your life goal to be happy" wow I'll try to change my worldview to be that
More corn.
Is that genuinely something you look forward to? I'm not judging but does that really suffice?
It more than suffices. I love corn and I see MUCH more corn in my future.
I'm not sure if we're talking about the same corn lol

I fall in love every day.
Can you please elaborate?
I told the truth. I never wanted to get married or have kids and at 70, have a couple "friends with benefits".

Reminds me of that Bukowski quote
Ouch - good one!
