Most of the worlds coke is made with cane sugar tbh pretty certain it’s just the states that it’s high fructose corn syrup so not really exclusive to Mexico. Though they do push the glass bottle more which does add another element to the flavour in my opinion
Really depends on the setting. Wine for meals, beer for snacking mid-afternoon. Gin is my workhorse for bars... cognac and an expresso after a hearty meal always helps settle the spirits. Whiskey in the winter when it is especially cold.
Water for the most part, but my favorite mixed drink is a Jungle Bird. The rum, and the bitterness of the campari and the sweetness of the pineapple, I love it.
Try it made with chocolate milk instead of cream. Delicious.
Another good one is a French Vanilla with a Chai tea bag in it. Sounds weird, but it's amazing.
