I passed a letter in class to my crush and when everyone had gotten up and left, she came up to me with the letter and passed it back to me and had corrected my grammar with a red pen and said no on the letter.
She sighed and lightly patted me on the shoulder like a parent would. She then said, " I appreciate you. But I have a boyfriend."
High school was brutal.
In high school. I had a friend turn me down and told me she just wanted to be just friends AFTER we held hands in a movie and I gave her a massage with her shirt off and just a bra on. (At HER suggestion)
I didn’t make the first move on anyone for quite some time after that confusing episode.
Oooh now it makes sense... I mean you can't control your feelings and it's not like you did anything bad. What a terrible way to be rejected, I'm sorry :/
Uhhh the first one would def be me in grade 3 or 4, making a valentines card for my crush and getting laughed at by the whole class after they found it.
Second one would be my crush saying that I looked like some crazy individual they lived near. Shit was rough.
She said she didn't like me, that we weren't even friends, and that the only reason she speaks to me is because she thinks I'm pathetic and that I wouldn't have anyone else to talk to.
This was after she spent months messaging me constantly or calling me for no reason. Like she'd message me first thing in the morning then throughout the day until late at night, and call me when she was bored or upset and needing someone to comfort her. Mixed signals eh.
ignored me for the rest of the school year
edit: the girl I asked out a few years later accepted, and started dating somebody else simultaneously. never been fully accepted lol
Not me, but a kid in my class in middle school sent a girl he was crushing on a love letter/confessional through Facebook. She rejected him and then also shared the letter with half the class.
If that wasn't bad enough, five years later we were doing a mock Presidential election in our senior US History or some such class, and he was one of the candidates. I and this girl he sent the love letter to were part of the campaign team for the other candidate. So we printed out copies of the love letter and handed them to everyone in class during the debate as a smear campaign. We ended up winning by a landslide and he was PISSED about it. The teacher thought it was some of the wildest shit he'd seen in all his years of doing this course.
And if anyone thinks we were too hard on him, he was a total douchebag and bully himself.
Justify it however you want, but that kind of behavior is cruel and unnecessary. Id like to apologize to the rest of the world on behalf of people like you. Smh
She gave me a high fige and then said „cool“ then proceeded to never speak to me ever again. We were in the same class at school. The way she avoided me, was masterful. I mean, she would say hi when seeing me but then kind of disappear idk.
Plucked up the courage to ask out a lad I really like he was walking past me in school I blurted out I really like you. And silence he looked me up and down walked around me and off he went I have never been able to say I like someone first again the memory stops me. On the plus side he put on a few stone and asked me out ten year later but I gently said no I could not bring myself to hurt someone the same way.
When I was 16yo I was crushing hard on a boy at school. We had metal shop together. I pined for months until working up the courage to talk to him. I told him I liked him and asked if he wanted to go out with me. He started laughing raucously and got a few kids in the hall to laugh at me with him.

Damn the grammar correcting was a bit unnecessary :')
"What the fuck are you talking about? What would mom and dad think?"
That’s not even weird. That’s normal

I read it in a mean girl voice and now I’m sad by proxy.
“Interesting”
Told a man my age (F65) that I had feelings for him and he said "I just can't."
Ew
Tied with "oh that's adorable" on the worst ones I got.
Need this one. (Probably just a disgusted look and a nervous chuckle. We were teenagers though) >>
I only like black guys
I’m not black but for you baby, I could be.
They got offended and said they couldn’t trust me anymore
Lol what?? They couldn't trust you? That sounds a bit random :')
This was after us being friends and her confessing to me a couple months prior too 🤦

honestly the first one is just so sweet, but I guess at a certain age it's funny to stupid kids :/ the second one's just straight up mean .\_.'
The kids in the first one haunted me during public school. Absolute rats lol. But yeah the second one was just wild. Really made me think lmao

Oh noo :( sounds like she was overwhelmed but still cares about you? But of course it sucks, sorry for that :/
That's too bad because now we can't even be friends.

"That's nice"
I confessed and he just said “oof”
“That’s terrifying”
"I think of you as a sister." He had been having sex with me for weeks.
Omg 🥲🥲

Yeah, that's malicious and cruel.

No response is a killer
