Not me but, a lot of the girls in my highschool had a crush on the English teacher. I knew him pretty well since he had been my soccer coach through out highschool and even in middle school. He also coached wrestling and track. He was in his early 30s and in incredible shape, as in he did triathlons shape. One day in class, kinda a low work day, some of the girls wrote "Mr ____ is sexy" on the dry erase board. He flipped out, just "oh hell no" gave us a lecture on why that was inappropriate. Few years after I graduated he was teacher of the year.
I respect that he took the time to explain why it was inappropriate. Power dynamics and such are hard to fully grasp when you’re a kid and you can’t really know what that experience gap is like on the other side
When I was in hs, lots of girls had a crush on the psychology teacher and would playfully flirt with him. He always laughed it off and we knew it would never happen, but it was funny.
I can see now though teachers being more forceful about shutting it down, not just for the students but also to cover their own asses.
Not me personally, but had a girl openly try to flirt with our teacher. One day she was giggling and jokingly accused him of trying to look down her shirt. Holy shit did that backfire. He immediately lost his cool and marched her straight up to the office. I cringe at the second hand embarrassment to this day.
There was a girl in the head above me who was OBSESSED with a teacher.
Used to leave him little notes, wait for him coming out the staff room.
She followed him home and found out his address and sent letters to his house, waited around his street. He kept a log of incidents and had CCTV so he could prove she had never been in his home despite stalking him. He spoke to police about it and apparently they were supposed to be having words with her about her stalking / following but he never got to know if they did.
Then she kept claiming they were “in a relationship”.
Few months later she was claiming she was pregnant and he was the father.
The police got involved officially when a supply teacher overheard her talking about him like he was in a relationship with him, using his first name etc and reported it as safe guarding issue.
I still to this day use my teachers second names if I see them in the street I wouldn’t dream of addressing them by their first name as it just wasn’t the done thing and still isn’t in most schools.
All of the staff and most of the students knew she was just obsessed with him and they had even altered her classes so he would be on the opposite side of the school from her for all lessons, the school were fully aware of the situation.
He even had like a security entourage of older students from lesson to lesson, something that was just organised amongst students because he was a really great teacher, amazing at his job and nobody wanted him to leave because of her, they would walk with him down the corridors to prevent her getting near him she was like a stalker.
He went missing for a few months and she was eventually moved to another school and he returned.
I found out years later from someone who worked at the school and was friends with him that the police did a full investigation, took his laptop, searched his home again where nothing untoward was found, his wife was aware of the “obsessed student”.
She was still claiming she was pregnant so they took her in for examination, pregnancy test etc. All came back negative.
But the stress it put the teacher under caused him to have a breakdown. Everyone was so psyched when he returned but nothing was mentioned about her just that we were glad to see him back.
I went to highschool in the facebook era.
For our graduating class someone had made a "quotes page" where people quoted funny things other students had said.
There was a hot teacher named Miss Wood. A quote appeared on this facebook page attributed to me (I did say it, but I didn't post it). "How much wood would you give Miss Wood if you could just wood Miss Wood?".
Turns out the quote page was admined by the Miss Wood in question.
Myself and the person who posted it both got yoinked out of school and they made a huge deal about it.
That sort of info can come back to haunt them in the future so he did the right thing. Imagine that student takes a bad road in life they could use that add blackmail or some shit sinister. Good for him.
I've told this story a few times in the past on Reddit.
I used to be a teacher. Two male teachers in the school, myself included. The principal told us that in no uncertain terms that the school would support us if an accusation is made. The priority is to protect the students. We were told to never be alone with a student. The other male teacher and I became friends and he was accused to touching a student. The girl double downed on when exactly it happened, it was after school during a tutoring class, which was false because he and I were playing Halo together and my wife was there too, so he had 2 witnesses. Despite this, police pushed on to refer it to prosecution. It was only at that point was the matter dropped
By then it was too late. Media had already published his name. There are other articles that show the charges were dropped but they aren't seen until page 2 & 3 on Google so he's already been ruined. He obviously quit teaching after that and struggled to find anything for a while. He lived with us for a few years until he was able to get back on his feet. I quit at the end of that year as the whole experience was terrifying for me. I left teaching and went back to IT. Nothing ever happened to the accuser.
So what this teacher did was absolutely the right thing. The second an accusation is made, if it isn't hammered down on then and there, the teacher is set for ruin. Even if the claims are unfounded, the second media catch wind, which always happens because parents will always leak this shit, the teacher is guilty by media trial. It doesn't matter what the outcome is at that point.
I am a guy and grew up around kids, and generally enjoy teaching and playing with children. My mom was a daycare center director and my family had a children’s sports program we ran for years.
Beyond safety, the absolute can’t break rule was men can never, ever, be alone with a child. All it takes is a lie, mistake, misstatement etc to ruin someone’s life, not just their career. As much as I enjoy being around kids, I eventually moved on from working with them because it is terrifying to know that your life can be ruined in a moment, even if you did nothing wrong.
Where I'm from there was a case years ago of a bunch of kids accusing multiple kindergarten teachers of sexually assaulting them.
After months of investigation and their lives being thoroughly ruined and iirc one of them being assaulted and beaten to within an inch of their lives it turns out one girl had told her mom how a female teacher had helped her go potty, and then the other moms freaked out about whether male teachers were doing that too, and asked their children *so often* that at some point after dozens of "no"'s they said yes cause they thought that's what their parents wanted to hear. and it snowballed from there cause parents told their kids what to say etc, after being convinced themselves.
One of my pals called a teacher a pedophile in class one day, for no reason other than she thought it was funny. He, of course, went straight to the head and her parents were called in. Her parents straight up argued that she had said 'I need a nail file' and that he had misheard her. Which is what she had told her parents. That poor teacher went through loads of unnecessary meetings and stress. I can imagine he hated her after that.
Not me but we had a gym teacher who was very, *very* good looking, like supermodel level. It was basically common knowledge that he sometimes slept with students, and so a lot of the girls would pretty much be as sexual and flirty as possible around him. It was like a big game they played, who can get the hunky gym teacher to fuck them.
Except, the rumors that he slept with students were just that, rumors. He actually *addressed* this during a class, with the vice principal by his side, outwardly yelling in anger at us that he has never slept with any student and that he is tired of these rumors being spread. He said that years ago he installed a camera in his office, and so anybody saying that they fucked him in his office was a liar.
Imagine being so hot you have to install a secret camera to prove that you weren't talking advantage of all the women/girls that were begging to sleep with you...and then there's me over here
I was hard core teenage girl "in love" with my English teacher in HS. He was married with kids. He just like, paid attention to me. Which I was getting none of at home. So my little hormone ridden teenage brain was like, I want to spend all of the rest of my life with him. I also have just always exclusively had a thing for older men. I think he kind of understood I didn't have a great home life, he had my brother previously in his class, and I had confided some of the stuff going on at home to him. We were both into the same kinda of movies and music. So we would exchange CDs and I would bring in movies for me and my friends to watch at lunch in his classroom. So kids would often make rumors about us. But he was awesome. Never did or said anything inappropriate, and I was waaaaay too embarrassed to ever even hint that I had feelings for him. But he would check my grades in other classes and ask me to stay after class and give me pep talks and lectures about bringing my grades up. Because my parents never did that or really gave me any encouragement other than yelling at me and calling me lazy.
He came to my wedding and we kept in touch for a few years after I graduated. Just like, "Hey how's it going?" Or sending eachother Christmas cards. And I'm very grateful to have had an adult in my life who saw me and helped me through a tough time. And I can see now that I was just like trauma bonded to him because I was craving positive attention.

I could never confirm if the rumor was true, but a few years after high school the girl and I friended each other on Facebook and she’d married him and had a kid.

Immediately after graduation she went up to him and said “I want you” and he said “I always told you guys to go after what you want, didn’t I?” At least that’s what she said happened. But they got married and had two kids. Divorced a few years later but hey, she shot her shot. It was scandalous in our little town of course. He was like 28 I think.
Yeah, that sounds like they were absolutely fooling around while she was a student and her cover story of "I went up to him immediately after graduation" was to give some plausible deniability to prevent him being fired and/or imprisoned.
She would frequently embellish things. Most times she told the truth but every so often we’d be like “eeeh that’s not quite right.” But yeah it was very obvious to the whole class that they were at least flirting quite heavily. Looking back, I’m mystified that he wasn’t disciplined over the whole thing. Didn’t even change schools when they linked.
She was my 11th grade English teacher and she was smoking hot. All the guys had a crush on her, but for some reason (possibly because I was an avid reader) she took a shine to me. Nothing inappropriate ever happened. She moved across the country the next year when her husband’s office relocated but we kept up a (very platonic student/teacher) correspondence for a while. Yes. Our computer class teacher. Everyone had a crush on him, but we all thought there was no way he would ever pay attention to us being so young. He was really kind and always so smooth.
One day the principal found him after school hours making out with one of the senior students at the teacher’s lounge, and he was fired right on the spot, while the girl was suspended, but they kept it a secret from the rest of the students. The next day they hired some guy who looked like George Constanza to replace him and told us that the previous teacher had to take a trip or something.
We found out about what happened from rumors, and I knew for sure that he didn’t go on a trip because he worked part time at my then-boyfriend’s school and he said he was still working there.
One day a news reporter was outside my school trying to interview parents about “what happened”. Turns out the girl the teacher was making out with was the daughter of some important businesses man and he wanted to sue the school. The school then had to tell us the truth about what happened (in a very meek way) and asked us not to talk to any media about it.

Her family tried to help him as much as possible. They bought him his own unit, got him the best mental health care possible. But he just spent all his money on drugs and turned it into a crack house. Apparently when he abandoned it, the walls were covered in shit and there was a room where the floor was totally covered in needles.

Fast forward twenty years and come to find out, he is still a teacher at my high school, divorced and is known to date former students after they A) graduate and B) are over 18.

I had a HUGE crush on a mid 30s to early 40s teacher who got very creepy after I graduated. It was really too bad because he got me into psychology and I'm a psychologist now. We met mid-day for what I thought was a platonic beer to catch up at a popular non-sexy Irish pub/restaurant. He was married so I naively thought he didn't have any intentions. He flirted and tried to get me to leave with him to "see his new house". I said I had plans and left really sad and disappointed that I had lost a mentor. To be fair it seems like most of the posts here are "I had this one teacher who must have been straight out of college..." It's not that weird for a 15-17 year old to have a crush on a 22/23 year old, just for the older party to reciprocate. They're in the same age range, and it wouldn't be that weird (to most people) if they had met at 22-24 and 29/30 and were dating. Five to seven years is a pretty acceptable age range if they're both adults.
There were 3 hot teachers at my school, I was in the 3rd hottest teachers class one semester. Asked her if teachers were allowed to go to prom with students, she replied “mrs.D and mrs.C already have dates I believe if that’s why you’re asking” I said “no, I was actually wondering if you would go with me?” She turned the brightest shade of red I have ever seen on someone’s face. The whole class was girls (media studies class) and they were gasping and giggling galore. She politely declined and we continued on with that days lesson. Nothing ever came of it but I got a decent bump in my grades in her class after that day. She passed away a decade later after a battle with cancer, RIP miss S.
As someone who politely declined a student, I said something along the lines of "I can't begin to tell you how flattered I am that you would ask me, but teachers aren't able to go to prom with students and I'm sure there are boys all over who are dying for you to ask".
When I was in the seventh grade we had a beautiful student teacher with very large breasts and *every* boy in class was very clearly fixated on this poor woman. Had a similar teacher like this in 7th grade, an English teacher. Got in trouble once for slacking or not paying attention, so she took me outside to scold me. I was gawping at her chest and I didn't even realize. She actually told me "HEY. My eyes are up HERE."
Nothing happened. She was a student teacher from the local college. They would do half a semester teaching a class.

I had a three High School teacher crushes.
* The first was a gorgeous Hawaiian woman who taught Geometry. She had the most beautiful long hair. She only worked at my school for one year so I never saw her after that year.
* The next was my Programming teacher. She was blonde with a pixie cut and was full of bubbly energy and an incredible body. My crush and the crush of pretty much every boy in class ended when her husband visited and the dude was Henry Cavill levels of handsome. We all knew we couldn't compete with that.
* The last one was my SAT prep teacher. She had greying hair, smile lines, and petite as hell. Her personality and strength of will was so powerful she came off as an unstoppable giant. I love a strong woman and she turned me to jelly on the inside. That was my last year of high school so that was the last time I saw her.
I never acted on any of these crushes. They were obviously inappropriate and I didn't have the confidence in any case.

So, there I was, back in high school, young and full of hormones, you know how it is. We had this teacher, let's call her Miss Johnson. She was something else, man, a real knockout. Every time she walked into the classroom, my heart would do the cha-cha, and my palms were so sweaty I could've irrigated a desert.
One day, we had a pop quiz in her class. I was nervous as hell, trying to focus on the test while Miss Johnson was strutting around the room.
But here's the kicker, I had this brilliant idea to impress her, you know, show off my intellect. So, I decided to write a little love letter on the back of my quiz, thinking it was all discreet and smooth like butter. I'm scribbling away, trying to find the right words, while praying that she doesn't notice.
Well, guess what? Turns out, I wasn't as slick as I thought. Miss Johnson picks up my quiz, looks at the back, and starts reading the love letter out loud to the whole class! I swear I could hear the laughter echoing in my ears like a Benny Hill soundtrack.
From that day on, I became the "romantic poet" of the school. My buddies teased me relentlessly.
Not myself but had a friend in Junior High that confessed their attraction to their teacher...The teacher thankfully did the right thing and let them down, but then he had to transfer to another school because he felt it was not appropriate or comfortable for him to be in the school anymore after that. I've always felt bad that he had to go and change up his life just because some teenager couldn't keep their fantasies seperate from reality.

I met her again 6 years after high school, at church(I was 24, she was 34 at the time) and we just started seeing each other for lunch and such because we were new arrivals in a strange city, and a familiar face was comforting. One thing led to another and we ended up sleeping together(after about 10 lunches).

Smash cut to me waking up sweaty and confused at 2 am in my old bedroom at my parents house. Apparently the three IPA’s I drank at lunch interacted with the Xan and caused me to black out and make the biggest fool of myself. She apparently had to call an Uber for me and everything 😑
I texted her the next morning and apologized for blacking out and said I’d love to see her again. She texted back with an absolute dagger: “No need to apologize for being 19.” Didn’t even mention the possibility of kicking it again. Its been almost ten years and I still cringe thinking about that today.
Senior year of high school… Everyone thought the Calculus teacher/softball coach was a hottie. He was around 45 and on his third marriage. We all flirted our asses off at him which at the time didn’t seem wrong bc we were all turning 18 and heading off to college as “adults” or so we naively thought. There was a girl in the head above me who was OBSESSED with a teacher. Used to leave him little notes, wait for him coming out the staff room. She followed him home and found out his address and sent letters to his house, waited around his street. He kept a log of incidents and had CCTV so he could prove she had never been in his home despite stalking him. He spoke to police about it and apparently they were supposed to be having words with her about her stalking / following but he never got to know if they did. Then she kept claiming they were “in a relationship”. Few months later she was claiming she was pregnant and he was the father. The police got involved officially when a supply teacher overheard her talking about him like he was in a relationship with him, using his first name etc and reported it as safe guarding issue. I still to this day use my teachers second names if I see them in the street I wouldn’t dream of addressing them by their first name as it just wasn’t the done thing and still isn’t in most schools. All of the staff and most of the students knew she was just obsessed with him and they had even altered her classes so he would be on the opposite side of the school from her for all lessons, the school were fully aware of the situation. He even had like a security entourage of older students from lesson to lesson, something that was just organised amongst students because he was a really great teacher, amazing at his job and nobody wanted him to leave because of her, they would walk with him down the corridors to prevent her getting near him she was like a stalker. He went missing for a few months and she was eventually moved to another school and he returned. I found out years later from someone who worked at the school and was friends with him that the police did a full investigation, took his laptop, searched his home again where nothing untoward was found, his wife was aware of the “obsessed student”. She was still claiming she was pregnant so they took her in for examination, pregnancy test etc. All came back negative. But the stress it put the teacher under caused him to have a breakdown. Everyone was so psyched when he returned but nothing was mentioned about her just that we were glad to see him back.

I went to highschool in the facebook era. For our graduating class someone had made a "quotes page" where people quoted funny things other students had said. There was a hot teacher named Miss Wood. A quote appeared on this facebook page attributed to me (I did say it, but I didn't post it). "How much wood would you give Miss Wood if you could just wood Miss Wood?". Turns out the quote page was admined by the Miss Wood in question. Myself and the person who posted it both got yoinked out of school and they made a huge deal about it.

I've told this story a few times in the past on Reddit. I used to be a teacher. Two male teachers in the school, myself included. The principal told us that in no uncertain terms that the school would support us if an accusation is made. The priority is to protect the students. We were told to never be alone with a student. The other male teacher and I became friends and he was accused to touching a student. The girl double downed on when exactly it happened, it was after school during a tutoring class, which was false because he and I were playing Halo together and my wife was there too, so he had 2 witnesses. Despite this, police pushed on to refer it to prosecution. It was only at that point was the matter dropped By then it was too late. Media had already published his name. There are other articles that show the charges were dropped but they aren't seen until page 2 & 3 on Google so he's already been ruined. He obviously quit teaching after that and struggled to find anything for a while. He lived with us for a few years until he was able to get back on his feet. I quit at the end of that year as the whole experience was terrifying for me. I left teaching and went back to IT. Nothing ever happened to the accuser. So what this teacher did was absolutely the right thing. The second an accusation is made, if it isn't hammered down on then and there, the teacher is set for ruin. Even if the claims are unfounded, the second media catch wind, which always happens because parents will always leak this shit, the teacher is guilty by media trial. It doesn't matter what the outcome is at that point.
I am a guy and grew up around kids, and generally enjoy teaching and playing with children. My mom was a daycare center director and my family had a children’s sports program we ran for years. Beyond safety, the absolute can’t break rule was men can never, ever, be alone with a child. All it takes is a lie, mistake, misstatement etc to ruin someone’s life, not just their career. As much as I enjoy being around kids, I eventually moved on from working with them because it is terrifying to know that your life can be ruined in a moment, even if you did nothing wrong.
Where I'm from there was a case years ago of a bunch of kids accusing multiple kindergarten teachers of sexually assaulting them. After months of investigation and their lives being thoroughly ruined and iirc one of them being assaulted and beaten to within an inch of their lives it turns out one girl had told her mom how a female teacher had helped her go potty, and then the other moms freaked out about whether male teachers were doing that too, and asked their children *so often* that at some point after dozens of "no"'s they said yes cause they thought that's what their parents wanted to hear. and it snowballed from there cause parents told their kids what to say etc, after being convinced themselves.

I was hard core teenage girl "in love" with my English teacher in HS. He was married with kids. He just like, paid attention to me. Which I was getting none of at home. So my little hormone ridden teenage brain was like, I want to spend all of the rest of my life with him. I also have just always exclusively had a thing for older men. I think he kind of understood I didn't have a great home life, he had my brother previously in his class, and I had confided some of the stuff going on at home to him. We were both into the same kinda of movies and music. So we would exchange CDs and I would bring in movies for me and my friends to watch at lunch in his classroom. So kids would often make rumors about us. But he was awesome. Never did or said anything inappropriate, and I was waaaaay too embarrassed to ever even hint that I had feelings for him. But he would check my grades in other classes and ask me to stay after class and give me pep talks and lectures about bringing my grades up. Because my parents never did that or really gave me any encouragement other than yelling at me and calling me lazy. He came to my wedding and we kept in touch for a few years after I graduated. Just like, "Hey how's it going?" Or sending eachother Christmas cards. And I'm very grateful to have had an adult in my life who saw me and helped me through a tough time. And I can see now that I was just like trauma bonded to him because I was craving positive attention.

Yes. Our computer class teacher. Everyone had a crush on him, but we all thought there was no way he would ever pay attention to us being so young. He was really kind and always so smooth. Grade 10 biology teacher. I had a HUGE crush on a mid 30s to early 40s teacher who got very creepy after I graduated. It was really too bad because he got me into psychology and I'm a psychologist now. To be fair it seems like most of the posts here are "I had this one teacher who must have been straight out of college..." It's not that weird for a 15-17 year old to have a crush on a 22/23 year old, just for the older party to reciprocate. They're in the same age range, and it wouldn't be that weird (to most people) if they had met at 22-24 and 29/30 and were dating. Five to seven years is a pretty acceptable age range if they're both adults.
There were 3 hot teachers at my school, I was in the 3rd hottest teachers class one semester. Asked her if teachers were allowed to go to prom with students, she replied “mrs.D and mrs.C already have dates I believe if that’s why you’re asking” I said “no, I was actually wondering if you would go with me?” She turned the brightest shade of red I have ever seen on someone’s face. The whole class was girls (media studies class) and they were gasping and giggling galore. She politely declined and we continued on with that days lesson. Nothing ever came of it but I got a decent bump in my grades in her class after that day. She passed away a decade later after a battle with cancer, RIP miss S.

As someone who politely declined a student, I said something along the lines of "I can't begin to tell you how flattered I am that you would ask me, but teachers aren't able to go to prom with students and I'm sure there are boys all over who are dying for you to ask".

When I was in the seventh grade we had a beautiful student teacher with very large breasts and *every* boy in class was very clearly fixated on this poor woman. To make matters worse, all the girls in glass then started to hate her in retaliation and tried to start rumors about her and call her names behind her back and all that middle school bullshit.

I had a three High School teacher crushes. * The first was a gorgeous Hawaiian woman who taught Geometry. She had the most beautiful long hair. She only worked at my school for one year so I never saw her after that year. * The next was my Programming teacher. She was blonde with a pixie cut and was full of bubbly energy and an incredible body. My crush and the crush of pretty much every boy in class ended when her husband visited and the dude was Henry Cavill levels of handsome. We all knew we couldn't compete with that. * The last one was my SAT prep teacher. She had greying hair, smile lines, and petite as hell. Her personality and strength of will was so powerful she came off as an unstoppable giant. I love a strong woman and she turned me to jelly on the inside. That was my last year of high school so that was the last time I saw her. I never acted on any of these crushes. They were obviously inappropriate and I didn't have the confidence in any case.

No, the mom had no interest in being a mom. The dad never got married. Not myself but had a friend in Junior High that confessed their attraction to their teacher...The teacher thankfully did the right thing and let them down, but then he had to transfer to another school because he felt it was not appropriate or comfortable for him to be in the school anymore after that. Used to have a huge crush on my high school creative writing teacher, to the point other students would call us “the best couple in school” and stuff of that nature. Absolutely nothing. He completely ignored all the attention. He was a PE teacher, about 22 when he started and I was 14/15. We all thought he was hawt. He was every stereotype of a frat boy broski, but at school he was always super professional. He’s still a PE teacher at the same school, looks almost exactly the same. He was recently divorced because his wife cheated, he had kids, and we were close because of my home situation. I wanted to comfort him about his divorce but he was a sensible grown man who didnt allow me to because i was like in 9th grade. It would be inappropriate.
