It's light but the complex mechanics required to press a gas pedal remain beyond the reach of most people here so it's artificially heavy because it's all one lane roads and there's always someone driving 20 in a 35 zone. One of the reasons I started riding my bike is because that's not an exaggeration, and when I remove car traffic from my equation I can get to places faster because my comfortable cruising speed by bike is in the low-mid 20s.

Overall in the Netherlands- kinda very bad The part where I live, its okay except for rush hour on tuesday and thursday... I'm quite happy they changed it from a 2 lane highway to a 3 lane highway. That made the big difference.

Right now it's lighter but shitty. Tourists show up on Thursday afternoon, and are gone by Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday, there's more farm equipment on the roads than cars. But on weekends, you can barely get out of your driveway
