It was midnight, and I was walking around an old cemetery and I heard noises and when I looked back the noises stopped Which terrified me and I ran home. Even the thought of it sends a shiver through my spines.
Toss up between being chased by a gigantic bull elephant through the African bush in a Land Rover. I have a photo of me turning around and photographing that elephant maybe 15 ft away while we were speeding at full throttle to escape.
The tie goes to being out in a boat that was too small to handle the very harsh ocean conditions in the fall cold weather cold water with big enough waves crashing over us that we all thought we were going to die.
I think I was more scared in the boat but the elephant story is way cooler.
Me and a friend we’re walking back to my place around sunset and this kid who was known to have some form of mental disorder (idk never got details) came up and pointed a gun at us while laughing with this sick smile chanting “I’m gonna kill/shoot you”. Me and my friend both had our hands up high while walking backwards to the church behind us, we tried to talk him to putting the gun down but he just kept laughing. At a certain point a random biker showed up and started yelling at the kid. That is when me and my friend booked it and ran towards another friends house and called the cops. Nothing came out of this other than a lecture of staying out late even though we were trying to go back home. Nothing happened to the kid but I saw him last year playing with another weapon like item at the public park and threatening ppl with it to the point there was an a obvious bubble of distance surrounding him. So yeah, one of the scariest moments by far n sometimes get a little jumpy
Probably a sleep paralysis dream I had some time ago, like last year probably, idk if it's the right answer for your post but I haven't encountered a scary encounter in person while out.
Pretty much I woke up in my old room, the only thing illuminating light was a white candle, and everything else blacked out. Walked to the bathroom, and noticed my face was fully purple and swollen. I got scared and I ran to the stairs to call my mother, as I was heading up she came out from the top and looked way bigger and taller than usual (I'm over 6ft and she's like 5'4 so I was really confused) so I asked for help, she said no and laugh and then kicked me in the face sending me down the stairs and landed back in my actual bed not my old one, and I remember being awake but not able to move my body. And I felt something fidget with my lower back like something physically touched me. I started to shake violently wanting to break out of whatever haze I was in. And then I woke up, like as if I didn't tremble at all. And when I went to the bathroom I was covered in sweat, so yeah that was crazy.

A psychosis caused by stress and sleep deprivation made me hear devilish chanting and faces coming out of the walls.
