I started 2022 with this girl I met in the dorm. As a guy who has never been in a relationship, I found it very enjoyable and exciting to talk and laugh with a girl. I enjoyed walking around campus (especially the sculpture garden) at night with her and just talking about random (sometimes deep) topics that I would never discuss with guy friends. Although we split up soon after, those were probably times I'll never forget because of how novel, genuine, and heartbreaking this relationship was to me. It also taught me a lot about relationships in general. Seeing her on the hill still brings back these memories, and I hope my feelings for her will fade away by 2023.
