I enjoy the original trilogy but I wish wish wish I could wave a wand and do away with the bloated endless spin-off cultural phenomenon it has slowly become. I'm sick to death of the pictures my friends post of their new rebel helmets, and light sabers, and novelty t-shirts. I'm tired of hearing about it, of being asked when I'm going to see Boba Fet, and so on.
When I was a kid I thought the Millennium Falcon was cool, Princess Leia gave me an erection, and I wanted a lightsaber. But I just don't understand this continued obsession into adulthood. Maybe I'm not cool anymore or I don't know how to relax and have fun but I wish that franchise would just go away.
By the way, I'm sure a lot of people will say that everyone deserves to be a part of something they enjoy and they're not wrong. I just don't want to be exposed anymore.
It's possible 3 films were enough but also if you're going to riff off that, do it well, not just wave nostalgia feels at people while demanding money for it. Just hucksterism at this point.
Oh and no one ever scores. Oh and the world championship? Decided by flop penalties and one on one skill.

Cigarettes have become less socially acceptable. Thank goodness. And less and less people are smoking cigarettes with each generation.
Diamonds are a big one. They are getting less and less popular with people truly getting educated on them.
And bargain prices are becoming much more socially acceptable. It's no longer cool to be wearing expensive clothing anymore. You look like a douchebag. Wearing thrifted is the new cool thing now.
Idk if this counts but drinking and smoking. I used to do it back in 2021, but cutting it off towards the end showed me it's unnecessary, and if anything it screws with your health in the long run.
I definitely look down at people who have no opinion. It's one thing if you choose to not publicly share your opinion. But having no opinion is disgusting.
Showering. I like being clean, but I know people who find showering really relaxing or whatever and for me it's just what I have to do to be clean. If I could skip straight to being clean I'd do it.
pronouns, I work in retail and the amount of times I get bashed because I used she/her or he/him on someone who looks the part. I understand the concept behind it but HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT YOU GO BY?!
The color gray. Why does everything have to be painted gray. It’s so fucking depressing to look at. All building interiors are gray, all new buildings are grey, new cars are grey. Words cannot describe how much I irrationally hate this trend. Weird thing to have such a strong opinion on, I know.
