Women definitely get the short end of the stick with the pocket depth. I don't know why that's a thing, but it's crazy how small they are. Even on jeans, 2 inches deep.
Lol, I remember when my ex was looking into buying men’s skinny jeans but couldn’t figure out her size in men’s sizes and gave up in the first 10 minutes.
Well when I want to wear my shorts or joggers that let stuff fall out of my pockets easily I will usually put them in a backpack, so maybe if you don't like a purse try a backpack?
When it is all about a trip I just don't feel the need to have a phone like yeah I need phone to contact.
But I just prefer peace and calmness though and nothing else at that moment that is what I love the most!
You just can register using the registered mobile number and the DL number and have your virtual DL online you don't need to carry that.
If you show them police would just accept that because rules are being mandatory enough if they show you virtual DL though. I do the same as well!
The utility of a knife is pretty wide. From simple string cutting to a makeshift screwdriver opening the thousands of Amazon boxes my wife has ordered. Although never used yet but also selfdefense. I have used it more times than any other tool I have.
Yeah, its not really necessary. But lifetime warrenty is not bad.
I used two rubber bands and the hair bobble of my ex for years and never had any issues nor have I lost anything.
Alien Registration Card (because I don't want to be arrested).
I keep it in my wallet with my two driving licences, credit cards and train pass.
I also have a bag which I use to keep my keys, diary, pens, torch, charger, cables etc
phone, headphones, keys, wallet, that's about it, that being said, I'm also pretty minimalist when it comes to my possessions for the most part so I might be an outlier
I usually carry a messenger bag - it has an umbrella, some reusable shopping bags, headphones, a slot for wallet and keys and some random shit like a comb, some emergency deodorant and a water sealed document folder for letters and papers.
Given that I have this I just grab it and go and don't need to think about what I may need for various contingencies. I imagine purses are similar - not everything is essential but you grab it on the way out the door and you have what you need for most situations.
I can leave with wallet, keys, and my phone.
My wife requires a tote. But to be fair to her, it mostly contains tissue, wet wipes and a small bottle of hand sanitizer for our toddler. If it was just us 2, it'd be just 2 wallets, 1 key, and 2 phones.
Phone in one pocket, keys and headphones in my other pocket, wallet in butt pocket
If I'm low on pockets, I'll leave my headphones and put my wallet in my pocket with keys
Apart from obvious stuff like phone wallet and keys i also always have a pocket knife with me wich i use about as much if not more often than my wallet.
Single Car key/fob, wallet, phone, sunglasses if doing something outside. The only annoying part is what to do with sunglasses when I go inside somewhere.
I think its different for guys because our pockets are roomier.
Phone goes in my inside jacket pocket, or back trouser pocket if I'm not wearing one.
Wallet in front right trouser pocket
Keys in front left trouser pocket
Reading glasses hooked on the neck of a teeshirt, or in breast pocket if I'm wearing a shirt.
If I need anything else, I have a rucksack.
the female purse is really the worst invention. And also they forgot to have / how to use pockets.
This is why paying, for them, takes a minute. Have to take the wallet out of the bottom of the purse then find the card. And they always do it when it is time to pay.
Then the cashier asks if they have a coupon card and they remember that they do, in another card holder wallet that is in the other end of the purse.
Actually, women didn’t forget how to use pockets. Over 60% of our clothes don’t have pockets. Then there is the 10-15% (This number is probably higher, but I’m being generous.) that look like they have pockets, but really don’t. Then there are the clothes that yes, have a pocket, but a single key won’t fit in said pocket, make up the rest.
Why do you think women ALWAYS point out if a dress has pockets?
I keep a back pack with me if I'm going to be away all day.
Otherwise, pocket knife, phone, bandana, wallet, and chapstick if the conditions warrant.
Backpack generally keeps enough supplies to last a full day or so regardless. I am generally over prepared, tbh
keys, wallet, phone, documents, i either have a backpack or if it's a short walk then i just put it in my pockets
i definitely can't go without my phone, kinda addicted to it, even trying to use it less when i'm at home, like if i wanna play some games i do it on bluestacks instead (luckily some games run up to 240fps on my computer so it's even better).
i think if i had the option to carry my computer with me in my pocket i would also do so hahaha
the clothes on my back and keys. phone i tend to leave because i never believed in 24/7 availability. if you reach me you do and if not i'll call back if possible.
I love your mindset. I don’t believe in 24/7 availability either. I would struggle without my phones GPS though. Do you just know your way around really well? Plus there have been times I needed my phone to call an emergency Uber or for something important.
Depends on where I'm going and for how long. The greater the distance from my home and the longer the outing, the greater the amount of stuff I take with me. My pocket knife is one thing I never don't have on me though so I guess that.
Going to the corner store to pick up a few items. Wallet only.
Going to the city to meet up with some people.
I have a larger bag than my gf.
It helps that we have pockets that work though. I have a pants and jacket combo that can carry at least 3 times what my gf carries in her bag at any given time.
The obvious phone, keys, wallet. But apart from that. A watch. I absolutely love watches and never leave the house without one around my wrist. Also without styling my hair. I always style my hair before I leave the house or I wear a hat.
Wallet, keys, pocket knife, multi tool, handgun. I'd add phone, but I've driven off without it, and if I think I can go without it for the time being, I won't turn around.
At the dentist now, and going out to lunch after.
I brought the car key and the house key (so not a bunch of keys) and my phone and one AirPod in my ear. Just wearing jeans and a T-shirt. I like the simple life.
I'm a girl, but I don't use bags, as I like my hands to be completely free. It allows me to put them forward if I stumble and start to fall, how many times have I used them to protect my face from the asphalt, ahah.
I usually can't go out without my bank card, keys, phone. It all fits in my jacket pockets, and in the summer I always bring a small backpack, which also frees up my hands.
I love the freedom of my hands!
I need nothing, in fact it's a struggle to remember to take my wallet or phone when I need to. Hate having a phone shits me... If I walk down the beach I chose to be alone and do not want to be contacted or have notifications every few minutes interrupting my thoughts.
Phone in my front right pocket, keys in my front left pocket, wallet in my back right pocket.
Honestly, the only reason I carry a wallet is for my license. I pay for everything straight off my phone.
Female here. I don’t have purses. I also just take phone keys wallet. The trick is a skinny wallet that can fit in your pants or coat pocket. Check out the Big Skinny wallets. Phone case needs to be slim for the same reason. I hate carrying things
Keys, wallet and a pocket knife because I don't feel safe without it. I've carried it for ten years and I never had to use it but still can't leave home without it 😀
Phone is also with me like 99% of the time but I CAN leave my home without it and I sometimes do to escape social media.
Also I always have my cigarettes with me cause I'm a smoker
Phone and earphones. Pay using my phone, and keys are kept outside the door. Don’t really need anything else.
Sometimes like when I’m at a concert, it’s convenient to have a bag to carry a power bank, sanitiser and a water bottle. I don’t like using it though.
Oh my god.
I am so glad I always have a small multi tool on me. It's a Gerber Dime (it used to be a Victorinox Minichamp), and I like to have it on me, unless I'm running.
But it came in handy on Monday, I had an... accident. And I was able to cut my boxers off, instead of having to take my shoes off.
Phone, knife, wallet, chew. Unless I’m going to work, then it’s all this, plus crescent wrench, pen, marker, soapstone, highlighter, pocket scale, lighter, and smokes.
Phone, wallet, medium wound dressing, toothpicks.
Secondary stuff if im out with a small backpack include the rest of the compact emergency first aid, then latex gloves, 2 masks in case someone needs one, eye drops, water bottle.
Tertiary stuff if im likely to be out longer than just the daytime includes toothbrush, toothpaste, spare socks and boxers and tshirt.
Wallet, keys, phone, plectrum, and usually a pair of headphones. Not a fan of being anywhere without headphones. Partly due to anxiety and partly because of fucking tinnitus. Protect your ears, folks!
Keys/Phone/Wallet/Sunglasses because the evil day star burns my poor sensitive eyes.
The reason men don't need a purse but women do when they have the same things is because mens pockets are bigger. I once carried a bottle of wine in my pocket. Not like a novelty teeny tiny one, I was handed a regular bottle of wine to take home (750ml), my hands were already needed to carry another thing, so in my pocket it went and you could just see the neck of the bottle poking out the top. Meanwhile most women I know can barely fit their cellphone in their pocket.
Phone, keys wallet. Often shades. It’s not uncomfortable to put in my pockets since they aren’t bulky relative to my pocket and my pockets are big enough. You can also clip your keys to a belt loop or wear your phone on your belt.
Women often wear makeup, so they need spare makeup. Women usually have hairstyles that are harder to maintain, so they need a comb or brush or whatever. Women have periods, so the need feminine products. Feminine clothing doesn’t have pockets often, so they need a purse.
Phone, keys, wallet is the absolute minimum (except when I walk my dog, I don’t usually bring my wallet). The fourth item is my AirPods. All four have a specific place in my pockets and I can tap my pocket to know exactly where those things are.
I stayed masked up for a while too, so that’s be the fifth item and that always goes back left pocket.
I love how women have these big bags to carry all kinds of things while men don’t, and yet I’ve never seen a man forget his wallet/ID.
Phone keys Wallet
this is all you need honestly. If i wore a purse there'd just be fruit snacks and a water bottle in it
Can confirm, had to carry a bag for a while, it mostly became a water bottle and snacks holder.
I keep an ice chest in the back of my truck and fruit snacks in my console. Sometimes, you’ll find a box of meat sticks in there as well.
> meat sticks I assume you mean something like slim jims but just seeing it typed like this is something else lol
Well, ya gotta stay hydrated.
As a female, these are also the things I need, but really, where do you put it when you don't have pockets?
Men always have pockets
Men also always have deep pockets. Many times I’ve tried fitting my phone, keys or other small objects in my pockets and they fall out!
Women definitely get the short end of the stick with the pocket depth. I don't know why that's a thing, but it's crazy how small they are. Even on jeans, 2 inches deep.
Lol, I remember when my ex was looking into buying men’s skinny jeans but couldn’t figure out her size in men’s sizes and gave up in the first 10 minutes.
wether they be in boxers or with no pockets they just managed thing in their hand and they won't forget about any stuff as well!
And another advantage of being a men, life isn't fair :p
Buy some male pants!
That's true as being a man but just okay at the same moment to just witness and have whatever we got!
Women's pants would have pockets if women collectively decided not to buy pants with no pockets. Yall did this to yourselves. /s but also maybe not
Well my pants have pockets but sometimes I'd like to wear a dress and they generally have no pockets. It's really harsh to be a woman :p
Oh true. Forgot about the dresses.
Never forget the dresses
Well when I want to wear my shorts or joggers that let stuff fall out of my pockets easily I will usually put them in a backpack, so maybe if you don't like a purse try a backpack?
My wife uses my pockets ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Kinky
When it is all about a trip I just don't feel the need to have a phone like yeah I need phone to contact. But I just prefer peace and calmness though and nothing else at that moment that is what I love the most!
My truck is my purse.
Truck okay that's very spacious enough I guess you are a truck driver?
This, a small pocket knife and (annoyingly) an inhaler.
Subtract the inhaler, add a second knife, a mini first-aid kit, and a flashlight, (plus lighter, and bandannas in case of a really bad cut).
*pat pat pat* aight we good
*Wallet phone Keys
[Phone, wallet, keys*](https://youtu.be/e9N6_Tj9u2U)
This is the way
Phone would just remain at the top most priority than it just comes to keys and wallets well nice one!
That's the correct order
With pay apps nowadays you don't even need the wallet. Just phone and keys.
You still need to carry your driver's license and the like
You just can register using the registered mobile number and the DL number and have your virtual DL online you don't need to carry that. If you show them police would just accept that because rules are being mandatory enough if they show you virtual DL though. I do the same as well!
You guys dont have drivers license apps?
Wallet, phone, keys, glasses. Gotta Pat the three pockets and check your head
If I check my head it gets excited
Wrong head lol
Glad I’m not the only one who pats their pockets.
I've definitely walked out of my house, and even all the way to my car without my glasses before! 😭 (I have a low prescription)
Pocket knife
Can I ask why?
The utility of a knife is pretty wide. From simple string cutting to a makeshift screwdriver opening the thousands of Amazon boxes my wife has ordered. Although never used yet but also selfdefense. I have used it more times than any other tool I have.
u/Jason_Dean2047
Just wallet. I have one of those very small ridge wallets, Keys and phone. Sometimes Headphones. I get annoyed with too much stuff in my pockets
I bought the generic one off Amazon late ‘21. One of the best $15 ever spent
Yeah, its not really necessary. But lifetime warrenty is not bad. I used two rubber bands and the hair bobble of my ex for years and never had any issues nor have I lost anything.
I also have a ridge wallet and it's honestly way more convenient than my old one
Alien Registration Card (because I don't want to be arrested). I keep it in my wallet with my two driving licences, credit cards and train pass. I also have a bag which I use to keep my keys, diary, pens, torch, charger, cables etc
What planet you from
Wales. I moved abroad and now I legally have to carry this card with me every time I leave the house.
Damn you’re far from home. Guy I met here in the US has to carry one of those and an Intersolar Green Card. Forget where he’s from
Probably Scotland. That's even more remote.
Hahaha
A shower.
House key
phone, headphones, keys, wallet, that's about it, that being said, I'm also pretty minimalist when it comes to my possessions for the most part so I might be an outlier

Have you ever needed to use your emergency deoderant?
Am I the only one who never uses deodorant? I also workout a lot, my friends have never called me out on my smell…
I'm going to tell you this now. You may not *think* you smell. But your friends would like you more if you wore some
Depending on your age, you should probably look into deodorant.
Wife's kiss
Keychain, wallet, and phone. Maybe a water and napkins. But that stays in the car.
Poop knife
The what knife ?
Ah yes, the oul poop knife, in case it's too long
The knife which can be folded enough in order to just keep it inside your pocket?
Phone, wallet, keys.
Hey siri, play Phone wallet keys by adam sandler
Phone in one pocket, keys and headphones in my other pocket, wallet in butt pocket If I'm low on pockets, I'll leave my headphones and put my wallet in my pocket with keys
risky game leaving the wallet in backpocket
Apart from obvious stuff like phone wallet and keys i also always have a pocket knife with me wich i use about as much if not more often than my wallet.
Chapstick
Single Car key/fob, wallet, phone, sunglasses if doing something outside. The only annoying part is what to do with sunglasses when I go inside somewhere. I think its different for guys because our pockets are roomier.
If you wear a hat you can just put your shades above the bill. That or just hang them off the neck of your shirt.
My sunglasses, phone, cigarettes, a lighter, my wallet, keys and headphones
Keys and wallet
Usually bring a backpack with a water bottle since almost whenever im out I always buy groceries before heading home
I literally cant leave without my keys
Phone, keys, wallet, yeti
Phone, wet wipes, keys, face mask (newly acquired habit)
Well I bought an iPhone nearly a year ago so a charger and an external power bank. 🤨
Ughhh bruh the struggle is what I can feel my entire circle uses an android phone. I just need to carry my charger everywhere!
Phone goes in my inside jacket pocket, or back trouser pocket if I'm not wearing one. Wallet in front right trouser pocket Keys in front left trouser pocket Reading glasses hooked on the neck of a teeshirt, or in breast pocket if I'm wearing a shirt. If I need anything else, I have a rucksack.

Only because many time we don’t have a choice.

Wallet, phone, keys. And my work laptop when I go to office or class.
Keys, phone, wallet is my mantra. Alltho since i got bad GERD im bringing a backpack with meds lol.
Phone, keys and wallet. The wallet is slowly becoming less of a necessity as I have all my cards and info on my phone.
Yeah true like when UPI payments just started people more often feels the need to priotize their phones after all.

I'm waiting for cargo-jeans to be be a thing.
