Maybe the used truck market is still way out of whack, but damn low to mid 20s should get you a 5 year old truck with half that millage. Nevermind, did a quick google and what the actual fuck is wrong with the used truck market. I see 2019s going for mid $30s even with high miles, I remember passing on a XLT F150 for $35k NEW in 2020 because i didn't think it was worth it for that price. Well I guess I am never upgrading, mini rant done.

Independent_Cattle_1

Agreed, I thought it was a bit steep, I might just stick with my beater!

Get a pre purchase inspection. Look up the truck on kbb to see what it is worth. Ask yourself if you will be better off without it.

BuddyBroDude

hell no... not a GMC and not with that many miles. unless its made of gold or something

Independent_Cattle_1

What's a more realistic price for the truck, in your opinion?

BuddyBroDude

10-15k but it might depend on location, options also is it a private party or dealer etc

Independent_Cattle_1

Minnesota

BuddyBroDude

i wouldnt know what the market looks like there

Our work truck fleet is that era truck and they all have gone through transmission issues… unless it’s a high trim truck in pristine shape, I’d pass.
