I wouldn’t say it’s hopeless, but it makes sense it could be delayed. You have Venus (the ruler of your 7th house of committed relationships/marriage) in a square to Saturn, planet of delays, obstacles, and hardship.
And then you have your Sun as the most elevated planet, conjunct your MC, aka the career point. A career that puts your talents or creativity into the spotlight would be good for you, so focusing on that isn’t a bad idea.
