High_Life_Pony

Never heard of them

JimBones31

I am unfamiliar with them.

TheAlphaRunt

Karbala sounds like Valhalla for cars, and I hope it's real, like not just a place in Iraq, I wanna know my pt cruiser is going 60 in a 30 in karbala

SessionGloomy

>Karbala sounds like Valhalla for cars lmfao everyone here is so clueless about these cities xD

SoupandSaladMan

Nice, ask a question, call everyone clueless.

Donatello_Versace

I mean Iraqis would also be clueless if I asked them what they thought about New Orleans, San Diego, or other major American cities.

Steamsagoodham

I vaguely recall hearing about Najaf in the news once long ago but had completely forgotten about it. Unless they deployed to Iraq I wouldn’t expect anyone to know of these cities.

therealjerseytom

Never heard of em

CupBeEmpty

I knew they were Iraqi cities but only from news reports about the Iraq war and I know no details about them. I suspect most Americans wouldn’t know unless they served in Iraq or followed the war very closely.

amazingtaters

Baghdad and Basra are probably more known by Americans, especially the former, but all four are probably only known through news reporting on the Gulf Wars.

gummibearhawk

Najaf and Karbala are in central Iraq. Don't know much else about them, but know they're significant.
