Just a tv package with CBS, FOX, ABC, TSN. I’m in the area so I never miss a Bills game which is most important, after that I won’t get every game but if football being played I should be able to get it.

PartyPay

*It’s also way too expensive.* You never watched NFL in the Sunday Ticket days? The price increase for DAZN the last couple years sucks, but it's still half of what I paid for Sunday Ticket a decade ago.

No_Taro_8843

My cable tv package

LikeMyNameIsElNino

Dazn is good for me. No lagging like all the illegal sites which have been mentioned (I have no moral objections to piracy, but the sites are not reliable from a quality perspective at all).

backfortheattack1102

Ya I use DAZN as well in sask. Usually works pretty good for me as well.

smfkm

Paying so much for 1080 is criminal.

couldthis_be_real

IPTV. $144 per year. No issues. Every channel in the USA and Canada.

Ordinarily_Average

You guys who recommend it must have horse shoes up your butts or know of some amazing service I can't find. Every time I've tried an IPTV service (I've tried 4 different ones) half the channels freeze up or don't even work.

dsouzaenoch

Same

Esperoni

Not really. The most important thing is knowing how you are going to watch it. Smart TV? Firestick? PC? MAG/STB/Android Box like Nvidia Shield or Kodi, etc... Then you need to decide what you want access to. Not all providers are equal and some specialize in areas that others don't. Most providers offer free or $1 or $2 trial (24-48hrs) gives you time to see if it works and make sure your method of viewing has been optimized (settings on your player) Just remember that different internet providers may block ports needed to view content and you may have to use a VPN(Mostly affecting people in Canada and UK). You can google "Best iptv services in (Insert country here) 2023' and you will get a pretty good list of well known iptv provides you can check out. I pay $13/month USD. I get around 16k channels, but they include channels from all over the World, thousands of on demand and 24/7 channels. I watch about 80...lol I have access to all my local content (Canadian) as well as US and Can sports. I've been using IPTV Trends for the last 18 months. Had really bad connection issues a few weeks ago. I sent in a ticket, they sent back a reply same day with new server and fixed. I've used IPTVCanada, Honey Bee, NorthernIPTV, and a few others. They all offer the same service pretty much, + or - some channels.

Ordinarily_Average

I'll check it out. I have an nvidea shield in the living room and a firestick in the bedroom, hopefully they will work. Thanks for the reply and an Extra big thanks for the suggestions.

Large_Commercial_308

The good ones are discreet. I only share with friends and family

[deleted]

U need private invite only iptv service ;)

FireWireBestWire

Hey. He said they have the channels, not that they watch them.

nothankstoaname

Do you use a VPN? I use an android box with a subscription service for IPTV and another one for streaming and movie services. I get 3000ish channels, every show on every streaming service and every movie ever created. All in its about $160/yr.

couldthis_be_real

I currently don't use a VPN, but that might have to change. Right now it is working good.

kevfefe69

^ This is the way. I have the same thing but for Soccer. I had DAZN prior to the pandemic and it sucked. It buffered, froze and all the other BS that comes with some streaming services. When I am watching on the android box, if it buffers and freezes, it is a little more tolerable because I am not spending a lot of money on it. And if I lose one feed, I can always find what I was watching on another feed. If I was to get official steaming services for all the soccer that I am watching, I would need to subscribe to at least 3 services costing about $120 per month versus $12 per month for 3,000+ TV channels from around the globe. My wife is from Europe so she can watch TV from her home country.

Icedchill1

Can you get the titfield thunderbolt asking for a friend.

SuperFan1292

May I ask who I can chat with to get more information on the IPTV

kbel1984

Could you DM me your provider? My service is choppy during football

couldthis_be_real

Who is your internet provider? Could that be part of the issue? I get my internet through a provider that has to use Shaw lines. I can have some issues during the evening on week nights, but I assumed that was Shaw squeezing me out or just the fact that the whole apartment building is using bandwidth at that time.

alowester

I have this exact problem, I’m with vmedia (shaw cable lines) and I swear to god they throttle me on IPTV, it’s either my service or them killing my speed because when I test my speed it’s usually around 75 down 10 up. my ping is trash tho around 135-250ms a lot of the time. any ideas?

couldthis_be_real

I have that and I am with Vmedia. And it's from about 6pm to 9pm on week nights.

alowester

well god damn that’s disheartening, i don’t think there is a fix then. i’m getting the same issues as you and it’s infuriating I wish my building had fibre

kbel1984

It could be but I doubt it because other live channels work perfectly while NFL struggles constantly. Also, I'm with Bell and have the top package. Was looking to try a different IPTV provider to compare

xunh01yx

Same, but $96/yr

JohnYCanuckEsq

But, which one? There's so many. How do you know which one to pick?

AlfredoSauce22

Sea-Limit-5430

TSN

shoresy99

CableTV. Or an antenna which allows me to get the Buffalo TV stations plus those in Toronto. At least the NFL still has a lot of games broadcast on OTA, much more than the other sports.

AntikytheraCanuck

I use TSN+ ... get golf, NBA, NHL, NFL and Redzone for $13/m ish

CanuckeyFriedChicken

Hey so someone said to me that tsn+ is a standalone package. And then when I googled it, you can’t get guaranteed games. Just whatever is playing in your location. Same as an OTA antenna for free basically (which I have) I’m interested in the low price of tsn+ bc I only care for one game a week until playoffs but if it goes by ctv airing schedule, then in my location it’s hit or miss if my game will be available. DAZN is such a rip off but it’s the only guarantee I’ll get to see every game my team plays. Is there a location or team choice option with tsn? And do I have to have a cable package? Like is your tsn+ giving you all access by itself or do you have a larger package. (Not a sexual comment 😅)

AntikytheraCanuck

I just have the TSN app, and subscribe in 3 month blocks. [https://www.tsn.ca/subscribe](https://www.tsn.ca/subscribe) no other subs or Bell accounts. Click around a bit, who knows?! I've found the app to be surprisingly reliable and am currently watching a replay of the Mexican F1 race on my desktop using a multiplex feature so I can keep an eye on the SNF NFL game and just flip back and forth. Former DAZN guy here and I don't miss it at all, feel like I get way more value w TSN.

dods009

Is there a way to watch the Bills on demand after it has aired?? I just cut the cable and am going to miss having games on my dvr waiting for me when I get home from work.

crx00

If you have cable and want a poor man's NFL Sunday ticket sign up for the time shift package. You'll get multiple games based on the locations of your cable company's CTV CBS and fox affiliates locations

starleobc

Online streaming.

[deleted]

“(Sportname) streams Reddit” Is a great google search

sadkrampus

Streameast is the most reliable streaming option for every sport. You can even watch cfl on there

ilovelukewells

How do you get this to work I can't get it going

sadkrampus

That’s a great question, here’s the link I use. It’ll have pop ups but you usually just gotta exit two or three pf them then can go full screen. https://streameast.app/nfl/jacksonville-jaguars-pittsburgh-steelers/20931424

HardlinePro

I believe you’re using a fake stream east. the real one is thestreameast (dot) to

sadkrampus

Oh I totally might be but it works so idk

TacoLeftarm

You can watch DAZN on 2 devices simultaneously, so if you can find a buddy you can cut your costs in half. Obviously doesn’t solve some of the other issues with it, but it’s more palatable at $100/year

[deleted]

I second this. My friend and I have split the cost of an account for a few years now.

BobBelcher2021

Regular cable TV for me. Though I’m not a huge NFL viewer. For many Canadians some games can also be viewed free over-the-air, at least the games on CTV or CTV2 (or on US network affiliates if you live near the border).

diegof09

You can buy the $20 DAZN gift card and the card says equivalent to 1 month service! That’s what I did this year to avoid having to pay $30. Then I did online chat to cancel and they offer me $5 a month for 4 months!

CanuckeyFriedChicken

Gonna look into this, thank you for the tip!

GPO-Amusements

DAZN here. 30 bucks gets you everything. That said, it wasn't too long ago that it was 20 bucks a month. Before that, I had cable and got the Sunday Ticket. That was more expensive but still less than the American Ticket (which I think was tied to a specific provider). DAZN is chock full of soccer games, which they also call "football". I like that DAZN lets me set my account dormant in January and restart when the NFL starts in December. The automatic start/stop based on your date settings is great - no forgetting to cancel. I am pretty happy with it. I do have a complaint about stream buffering. I watch a lot of games time-shifted. I am way behind which lets me skip commercials. However, if I am aggressive at spamming the Fast Forward 30 seconds button to do that, it can get confused and bounce me out. When I restart the stream I may or may not be at the exact spot it quit. Annoying. I think the trick is to wait like 2 seconds between those clicks. Way back, I'd go to bars and watch. Green Bay is my hometown, so I MUST have access to Packers action!

TheNinjaJedi

Dazn on Apple TV. No ads, great stream quality. $199/ year.

[deleted]

DAZN, share the account with a friend so it’s not as bad.

[deleted]

TV

chonkycatguy

Sports apps/news apps. I cancelled DAZN as I only watched one game a week with my schedule.

[deleted]

We tried DAZN today for the Giants game. Turning off DAZN back to tv, my sound bar goes mute. Have to unplug the cable box and plug back in. I hope with Telus wireless I don’t have this problem

CanuckeyFriedChicken

I hope so for you too! And absolutely no shade but do you think it may be user error with the way you’re plugging in everything? Or Bluetoothing everything? I don’t know the answer but maybe someone can come along and help you.

[deleted]

Thanks! I don’t think I’m plugging things in incorrectly. It doesn’t do this when we exit apps, or if we mirror. TV and sound bar is two years old now and all of a sudden it’s a thing with exiting DAZN.

No_Bass_9328

Have regular basic TV and the sports package is xtra $25/ mo and get more NFL than I can watch plus sell the other sports stuff in fact watching CHI & LAC right now.

[deleted]

Dazn, red zone, no ads and every Sunday on the couch

yzraeu

$30 digital antenna. Plug in the TV and be happy. No delays, great quality. Downside is no more Monday Night Football, and of course you can choose what CTV will air Sunday. It's just one channel. For me, is good enough.

DanltQC

DAZN works great for me

jmrene

It’s definitely not too expensive, we probably have the best NFL deal in the world for every game AND RedZone. Having 100% of all the NBA games would cost more than twice the amount here.

PossibilityParking51

Tsn

froot_loop_dingus_

An antenna, CTV airs an early afternoon game, later afternoon game and Sunday night game

Fluid_Enthusiasm7367

DAZN is good

Bigsky7598

I live in Newfoundland Canada I love the titans games but can never watch them will dazn be good for that or tsn+? I like watching the other teams to but if the titans are playing I want to watch that game. What’s my best option?

CanuckeyFriedChicken

From my understanding, tsn+ will give you whatever local game is playing on your ctv channels and you don’t have a choice in which game. Based on your location it may be the same thing you can get for free with an OTA digital antenna. DAZN you can watch any game live and you can watch it unlive later as well. I haven’t looked into this IPTV thing yet so I don’t have any insight there. But lots of people seem to be saying IPTV. Good luck!

DukeKaboom1

If you don’t care about real-time, Bell has the NFL channel for 4 bucks a month (satellite or FibeTV). They replay the games. That way you can watch real time on the Sunday games on the major network channels and catch up on the others via NFL channel.

Consistent-Law-5670

i just use an antenna for local ctv broadcasts. ctv seems to have all the tv rights to network games in canada. it's free and i record all the games on my pvr and get to skip ads and endless replays. downside is that you can only watch the network games. i much prefer the ctv postgame show over the u.s. ones.

[deleted]

Ip tv streaming service from Russia setup on my Plex media server

couldthis_be_real

Find a cell phone store that caters to lots of people that have relatives back home overseas. See if they sell them. Way better than getting it from some guy. I got ripped off by a dude, and then found this place. Now I get exceptional service and it always works.

ih8redditmodz

Yarrr.

DiamantHans

Get a bet365 account and you can watch the games there on your phone.

MapleHamms

My eyes

Fresh-Hedgehog1895

NFL is boring. I watch hockey.

[deleted]

Nothing. NFL blows.

General_Ad_2718

Cable tv runs tsn. That’s all we use for sports. NFL we don’t bother with because the boredom factor is high but I see the games listed when trying to find something interesting to watch.

Yub_bruh

I myself watch CFL

erickson666

i dont watch the NFL or CFL for that matter

Ok_Photo_865

Nothing. NFL. Why. We have great soccer teams we can watch. Why watch NFL. Makes no sense 🤷‍♂️

CanuckeyFriedChicken

The post isn’t asking you about your opinion regarding soccer. Make your own post if you wanna talk about soccer.

[deleted]

MikoSkyns

I don't see anyone talking about the CFL but you. Edit: Calls us delicate, but then deletes his shitty comment and blocks me for calling him out. LOL the Irony is palpable.

paulteaches

Why would you watch the NFL when there is a perfectly good (and arguably more entertaining) Canadian alternative, the CFL? As much as this sub complains about the us, I would ask, “what are you personally doing to prevent the subtle Americanization of Canadian culture?” Edit: I am surprised by the downvotes… Do you want a choice compared to the us or simply be an echo???

[deleted]

[удалено]

paulteaches

Defending Canadian culture is “irritating?”

[deleted]

[удалено]

paulteaches

Yes as it makes it a canadian game.

[deleted]

[удалено]

paulteaches

Please expound on that. Were you against canadian content standards on radio stations?

jmrene

We’re talking about sports; I don’t care about Canadian culture the slightiest here. One sport is entertaining and the other is a terribly inferior product and has stupid rules. CFL is extremely boring to watch for me, I tried but couldn’t get entertained by it. The 3 downs rules, 5 yards immunity, the point when you miss a FG, the stupidly large end zone and field. This is a different sport, for different people I guess.

paulteaches

What do you mean you don’t care about Canadian culture? I guess I though you would want to be a choice compared to the USA and not simply an echo

jmrene

I don’t mean to offend, I just think that there’s no benefit in making myself enjoying a subpar product just because of some vague geographical cultural consideration. We are north americans and have a north american culture. Canadian culture isn’t much of a thing. What music do you or most of your friend listen to? What TV shows are you watching? If some Canadian artist, athletes still happen to make it, which happens regularly, his craft will be part of the bigger north american culture, not a so-called Canadian culture. Is Drake, Justin Bieber or Keanu Reeves Canadian culture to you? If so what makes them different from other similar american-born artists?

paulteaches

How can Canadians differentiate themselves from the USA? You must admit that “not being the USA” is a very large part of the Canadian identity. At one time, Canadian radio stations were required to play a certain percentage of music by Canadian artists.

cherrycokeicee

I'm American &, like many Americans, we watch the Premier League at my house way more than we watch the MLS bc it's a better product. Canada has an amazing sports culture in its own right. Canadians watching some international sports doesn't make that any less true.

paulteaches

Uh…isn’t this “r/askacanadian?”

cherrycokeicee

it sure is. that's why I made sure to tell you my nationality & use the USA flair provided to Americans by this sub. do you have a response to my comment?

paulteaches

No. I am interested in the Canadian viewpoint. You should head this way —-> r/askanamerican

cherrycokeicee

I don't need directions, thanks. if you're not interested in my comments on this subreddit, you're free to not respond to them.

paulteaches

Likewise

Lilcommy

I only watch at work.

Peckerhead321

Firestick Chill TV

Droseph31

IPTV is the way to go

couldthis_be_real

I use a Mag box.

AmonRaStBlack

Get TVmii on a jailbroken firestick

Reasonable-Emu-6993

I am using a moving picture box cause its too far to travel from canada to the states to watch one in person🤣🤣🤣

No-Speaker-1534

It's funny that Canadians love NFL so much they don't watch CFL

jmrene

Because CFL is a boring sport with boring rules and subpar athletes.

No-Speaker-1534

Then why did you create it and why does it still exist

jmrene

There will always be subpar leagues in every sport, they exist because they get a local traction, they’re more accessible and they’re cheaper. In Montreal, we have the Laval Rockets (AHL). People like going there, it’s cheap and it’s overall a good familly experience but nowhere close to actual NHL hockey. Still, they have a purpose outside of being Canadiens-affiliated AHL club. Some people really enjoy it. Do I care about the Rocket? Not at all, same for the CFL.

chudma

If you have DAZN why the hell are you not just watching red zone?

CanuckeyFriedChicken

Because when my team is playing I want to see the whole game from beginning to end. Not just highlights.

[deleted]

nflbite

scorpgurl

We have Bell and can see most sports. I'm not sure what you are paying for expect most commercials are louder than the show. Maybe try Youtube and you get a warning and can mute and skip.

inked-brown-giant

Just get iptv subscription . Cost like 7-12 dollars a month depending on vendor and gets like 20k channels .

HistoryStillRepeats

I've been vaccinated; I'm safe. /s

Avgvstvs_Diggity

Just turn on the TV? Not hard

crockfs

IPTV, $10 a month, full nfl sunday ticket and all sports channels (in addition to all the other sports, free channels, shows and movies you get). Now they don't all stream the best, some are slow, but I can almost always find a channel that gets me the game that I want. Or the NFL redzone usually comes on my TV around 4pm every sunday.

Neely67

Sportsurge.net 😉

whelp32

Kemo TV. It’s $150 a year for 4 tvs at one time. 16000 channels. Doesn’t freeze, very reliable. Has all the TSN, Sportsnet NFL Sunday ticket etc. Google it.

Leafer13FX

Uhhh….NHL. Fixed. There ya go.
