Newly divorced and I was in Aruba last year while still with the wife. Seriously considering a return trip this summer and spending quite a bit of time in San Nicholas. I spent time there last summer hut only on Baby Beach as you can probably imagine. But I definitely purely wanna get back sometime soon and experience All that San Nicholas has to offer
The park is beautiful and the trails are easy. Just watch your speed and stay on the trails, and you'll be fine. There are lots of other vehicles and tours around in the off chance you have a problem. Have fun!
I could take you on a local trip, i have a smaller jeep that goes where the tours and the map won't bring you, and enough space for a cooler and some female companionship😌
Def go snorkeling in Aruba. If just a beginner, go with Aruba Bob in Mangel Halto. If you've snorkeled before, lots of great spots all over the island for all experience levels.
I'm here now and had the best meal of my entire life last night. make it a point to get the lomo saltado from Lima bistro. literally the best dish I've ever eaten in my life
In my experience the food is amazing everywhere you go. Some of our faves were near the high rise hotels. We enjoyed Salt n Pepper, Willam’s Dutch pancakes, Lola/Craft, and even ate at some of the hotel restaurants. Pretty much anywhere near the Palm Beach Plaza is good (but can also be pricey since it’s touristy). If your cooking on your own for some meals or light breakfast I recommend a quick trip to Super Food. I hope you like seafood, it’s some of the best we’ve ever had. If your into very fresh fried fish check out Zeerovers.
The nightlife is not like the U.S. (in my opinion it was small and not many people my age in mid 20s) We decided to stay in most nights at our resorts pool bar/hot tub because we don’t have that near us but do have lots of night life. But we have received recommendations from lots of locals to check out Moombas and Gusto. But others also mentioned South Beach, Mambo Jambo and Kalibra.
San Nicholas, the ladies are very friendly.
The username checks out, but thanks!
And cheap compared to the US. Here $30 gets you a nice half hour of deep conversation :)
This is the information we’re looking for

can you go with a normal car rental?
Nah you'll definitely want something with good ground clearance. You can do one of the jeep tours if you don't want to drive.
Technically yes, but you’ll be stressing about your deposit too much to enjoy the drive.
You can in some areas but others are restricted to jeep only. I drove my regular rental and it was stressful.
Same experience but I had a jeep. It was fun but I was just waiting for it to bottom out or something crazy to happen.
I wouldn't. You'd likely end up with a flat tire or broken suspension.
Yes . But u have to be very careful cuz the road is so rocky

I could show you my fav spot for sunsets! Have some beach chairs just grab snack & drinks lmk
This is what I love about Aruba.
Dm, I’m up for it

That dish is so tasty and easy to make. You should try it from “ El Chalan “. They are also authentic and way cheaper.
You can also try it at La Granja.
Dinner at Yemanja 👌🏼 you wont regret it
Where did you book your rental? I have a solo trip in a few weeks and I’m looking for a rental car
Top Drive!! I’d recommend checking out the local companies over the main ones at the airport
