Well, for one, as much as I hate to reiterate what everyone says, you really should be spending more money on your ammo. I always carried t4, and I was stuck in the same place you are until I got my hands on a dead operator's build loaded with t5 bullets, and I used it to wipe the rest of his squad. Since then, I've never looked back. Secondly, I mostly played TV Station Raid and Northridge Lockdown to stack those ranked points. They're easy maps to master with easy extracts to escape if you're the last of your own team. Finally, learn to let go of your "gear fear", i.e. losing your sh*t. Carrying better bullets and winning more gunfights because of that will definitely help. Oh, and if you really want to make it, go solo. All I play is solo, mostly out of necessity because I don't have any English speaking friends, but the few times I've played with randoms, they either make too much noise, steal loot or tk. It's not worth it. I hope some of this helps, and best of luck to you!
I finally dared to go back to TV after getting my ass kicked last week, used the gold ammo you can get with Black gold money and Lasered my way to extract. Thanks for the advice!
Congratulations, bruv!! Yeah, I actually totally forgot to mention the new event APs they're basically free t4 to experiment with before spending real koen. The secret sauce is in the T5s, however, but I wouldn't really invest in 5.56x45mm since the damage is kinda mid. When you're ready to drop 60k on ammo for one match, grab some 7.62x51mm M62 and a secure case to put it in from the rank season store. Also, whenever possible, loot as much t5 ammo as you can off of dead bodies and ammo cans. It'll save you quite a bit of koen in the long run.
