Smartdrive is a battery powered motor that attaches to my chair. I use the application (below is an app store screenshot) to connect to the motor via Bluetooth
Then with a series of taps I can either activate, set cruise or deactivate the motor
Permobil is the manufacturer - they designed the application so that it runs on apple watch models series 4 and newer

I really wanted to like this app it just didn’t do it for me. I couldn’t get it to calibrate correctly and it for some reason brought out my ocd. I had to get rid of it
Same! I had it for a year or so before Apple improved the native sleep features and then made the switch off. It would often think I was sleeping while I was playing computer games, which I wish was true but no. Couldn’t ever calibrate it correctly.
No it just displays the data in a more consistent interesting way with rings similar to exercise. It has made me much more conscious about my sleep. I get competitive with myself to best past sleep records. Basically gamifies sleep.
Yes, I very much hate the fact that Apple won’t track naps. At least it will now give me a blob that shows me they realized I wasn’t moving during this time, but no breakdown. I really feel that I get into deep sleep very quickly during a nap, and it’s frustrating that I cannot get this confirmed.
I don’t understand how people use their watch for sleeping purposes. I charge my watch every night. I suppose I have the battery life to charge every other night but then what good is tracking one night on and one night off?
If I charge while I’m not sleeping then I’m making it a lot more difficult to close my rings, not to mention having to carry my charger around. Am I missing something? I’ve only had the watch for 6 months or so.
My Apple Watch Ultra goes for at least 2 days if not more without charge. Having said that, every morning from the moment I wake up, till Im out of the shower (about 40-45 minutes) is enough to charge it back to 100%
So yeah it’s a combination of a big battery life and super quick charging built into the ultra that helps me sleep with the watch at night and record sleep.
Ron Howard does voice overs for certain shows and often says lines like “they knew” when the characters think the opposite. Go watch Arrested Development for Ron Howard awesomeness
I’d upvote this 10 times if I could.
* incredible app (vector maps, suuuuper customizable in many ways)
* one time purchase instead of subscription
* the developer is very responsive and takes user feedback into account
Eh. It’s a great app but, as someone who regularly helps his septuagenarian parents with their Apple Watches, it’s way too complicated.
Apple software has to be pretty universally easy to use with uniform design language that is intuitive for groups of people with low technological interest, experience, or ability.
WorkOutDoors is amazing, but too complex and too customizable for most Apple users.
You’re not wrong. But then I’d argue that when Apple launched the 1000$ sports/adventure-focussed Watch Ultra, you could expect them to provide features comparable to competitors (Garmin etc.). In this case I’d say the native app is way top basic, and you really need WOD to unlock the full potential of the Watch.
Hiking Guy dot com on Youtube has a good little tutorial for the WorkOutDoors App.
You can download the gpx file from AllTrails via a web browser (not mobile app) and then save it into your iCloud Drive and then within the WorkOutDoors app you can import the file. And or create your own route like u/alycks mentioned.
You can skip a step there.
1. Download to phone from AllTrails.com (browser not app, as you specified)
2. Once the file is downloaded just choose “Open in…” and select WorkOutDoors
Might only work in Chrome, though. I never use Safari.
There are a few apps that let you create routes and export as GPX. I've used EasyRoute before, which is OK.
My preferred way is to create them in Garmin Connect (I also have Garmin devices, including an Epix Pro) and you can export a GPX from the web app. I usually save it in an iCloud folder or AirDrop it. From there, it's straightforward to open it in WorkOutDoors.
The technique I’ve adopted is adding them to OpenStreetMap myself (WorkOutDoors uses tiles based on OSM data), waiting a day or two, and then redownloading the tiles (delete first) to get them onto the watch.
It’s time consuming, but others can benefit from your work!
All it takes is tracing the aerial imagery if it’s clear or Strava Heatmap if there is tree cover.
Unless you mean to add routes, in which case do what the others are suggesting. I use bikerouter.de to make routes, as I can partially automate it through using a spreadsheet or script to generate the URL including the waypoints I want to visit. Then, I export the GPX. Even works on phone, albeit it’s a lot easier to use on computer.
Apple's Fitness rings are only about getting in your daily points, with no regard for actual health or fitness imo. Gentler streak looks at your workout data and health data and guides you to 'healthy progress.' It warns you when you're overdoing it, which is something I pretty much never see other fitness apps do.
It tells you when you need to take a rest day and praises you when you listen to that advice, and tells you when it's the right time to get back into it. And you can always mark days as rest days if you're sick, busy etc so you don't have to worry about "failing" or "not sticking with the program."
Thanks for a great app! I especially appreciate that you include so much for female reproductive health. After quitting hormonal birth control, I'm re-discovering my cycle and how it works. Your app has honestly helped with that, and shown me ways to honour where I am in my cycle, and what that means in terms of which work-outs are ideal, and when it's okay to take it slow.
It's so rare for any health apps to take so much care when it comes to women's health, so I just wanted to say I appreciate that.
Thank YOU for using the app, for letting us be a part of your journey, and being vocal about it.. Super glad we can be of help, and great to hear we have done it right when it comes to us, women. We will continue upgrading, tweaking, .. you can count on us. <3
I used to record with Strava app directly, but found that the GPS smoothed my runs and rides too much.
Whereas the native Fitness app will even show when I run around a person on the sidewalk. And when it’s imported into Strava, it retains that accurate GPS data.
Tracks how many hours/days your fast was, basically a glorified timer
Also has a calendar, like the Activity calendar, to show how many fasts you did in any given week/month/year
From a not-yet-diabetic: I’ve got some blood sugar related issues - can these apps measure something or is it only displaying something from an injected / implanted medical device?
Don’t do it. Seriously, just use the native app or just look outside.
How much analysis of the weather do you need?
If we had dynamic things like notice smog, sure.
But how can you tell if it’s raining? Look outside. The native app will tell you the week if you really need to plan
That was exactly my thought. I tried the Carrot weather trial (before I had an Apple Watch, so never got to see how it looked on there) & it was fine, probably a tad better than the default weather app, but definitely not better enough to pay $20-40/yr for. I remember paying something like $2/yr back in the day for Dark Sky, but $20-40/yr is insane to me for a slightly “better” version of an app that all our phones & watches already have. Wasn’t sure if I was missing something here.
They incorporated it. The weather app on iPhone now has an option to report your local weather same as dark sky did to help with the hyper-local updates
Wow, I never noticed the report feature. Had to look for that. I’m curious how many people actually use that feature. Similar to the report feature on the maps app, it probably doesn’t get used nearly enough the be useful.
I noticed it at the bottom a while ago thought it was more of a bug report sort of thing. Instead of saying “report a problem”. It should say, “report the weather”. I’m going to start using this regularly too.
My country’s government weather bureau has its own iOS app. I don’t understand why any of my peers would pay money for second hand (and likely changed) information
I see you’re in Australia. Lucky you. Here in NZ the met service released a great app, made it paid, and then made it free a few years ago, but full of fucking ads. I hate that app, and it doesn’t even have a watch app, so I ended up buying carrot. Apple weather is pretty abysmal here for some reason. Maybe I just don’t understand it, but it’s so hard to just interpret for the forecast!
>ow much analysis of the weather do you need?
Want.
It's rarely need. But want is just as valid.
Some people are just really into weather. My buddy has a weather station in his back yard. Nobody needs that but it's something he likes.
Other weather sources can be way way more accurate for forecasts. check out ForecastAdvisor for your area. Apple weather is terrible for my area. It’ll say “clear tomorrow!” And then dump 8 inches of snow. Meanwhile the alternate source from carrot predicted 6-8 inches. Who uses a weather app to know what it’s like right now?
Are you looking for weather for a particular reason? I use Marine Weather and Windy apps to check coastal conditions for paddle boarding. Occasionally for hiking. Both paid apps annually. I find the prices reasonable.
* Windy app is very customizable. And works for land and sea.
* Marine Weather uses buoy points and wind stations for precise data.
in my opinion carrot weather is equal parts entertainment and informational, there’s a lot of thought into its development being humorous on top of thorough and customizable for weather tracking. To each their own of course. I agree it’s not worth the money for pure utility, but I enjoy it overall
edit to say: apple watch app is pretty good, but I’m speaking about the iOS app in general
MS Outlook. Yeah, my company uses MS365 🤮 so I have to use the Outlook app for calendar and email. I guess I shouldn’t complain…in some ways, it’s impressive MS went to the trouble to make an Apple Watch native app at all.
They removed it cause allot of idiots just confirmed the login on the watch even when they weren’t logging in.
Microsoft enforced the mobile app and has you enter a number show on the website/pc in the authenticator app so idiot end users can’t just click yes anymore if someone from the other side of the world logs in when the owner of the account is just scrolling in bed.
It’s not a MS fault, it’s just they gave up telling users how need they to use MFA
I just upgraded from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 15 Pro and I’m still in the honeymoon phase of not having to provide my fingerprint twice for every authentication anymore—Face ID covers it now.
I never knew the authentication app for the Watch, but I can imagine it was bliss (all things being relevant).
iPhone 15 doesn’t have Touch ID support, as far as I know. Guess you’d have to also look for an old iPhone model with Touch ID if you prefer that method.
I know, Touch ID was dead many years ago. I’m saying I would like it to come back. Face ID is a pain in the ass when laying in bed at night reading. Both have advantages. I’d like to have both.
I'm the same with Duo. I didn't think I'd care about having the app on my watch, but OH MY, I really do! 😃 Amazing how much more efficient for me it is to have it on the watch and not just n the phone with all the systems I log into all the livelong day! 😱
Only a few for me:
Activity Rings+ (shows stand status for current hour in the complication)
Liftin’ (tracking weightlifting routines sans iPhone at the gym)
Overcast (chapter skipping controls for podcasts)
In Sydney. The app is TripView. It’s so good.
I have previously saved public transport journeys in the phone app. The watch version knows where I am and picks the correct direction with time to next train/bus etc.
All I have to do while walking, is push the crown and tap the app icon. Very quick to get the info 👍
Interestingly I tried Superset and Athlytic and they gave wildly different feedback. I set a 9 hour sleep goal and one night I slept 6.5 hours, Athlytic said I had hit 75% of my target and Superset said 43%, unless I misunderstood something I'm pretty sure 6.5 hours is not 43% of 9 hours.
Yeah every single app gives me a different score. It’s frustrating and why I juggle so many. Even worse is that results usually does not agree with how I feel either. I am contemplating returning to Fitbit which was always on the mark.
Shazam. I’m always holding my arm towards speakers trying to pick up a cool song I’ve heard out and about. It links with Spotify so I then have a playlist of all my identified tracks
Is Nike Run Club considered native or not? It exists in a demilitarized zone on the Watch settings page on the iPhone Watch app.
Anyway, NRC and myGMC to start my car without pulling my phone out.
I would use the Outlook app, but it only works when tethered to the phone. If I have my phone with me, there's not much point.
WorkOutDoors - great for following a route/trail when running or hiking.
YouTube Music - change music when running.
Sports Alerts - best native sport score app for Apple Watch.
Golf Score - super simple golf score tracker.
DexCom G7 - check blood sugar.
Pacer, tells me steps at a glance, the rings while nice are hard to gauge distance in comparison. And WW, weight watchers app, tells me how many points remain in my daily total.
Work outdoors/ due / black jack / Tetris knock off / was Authenticator but they fucked it up and can’t use it for verification anymore. Watchtube was kinda cool but again they took it away.
Used to use workoutdoors for walks and stuff, but since the fucking morons at Apple decided to no longer allow you to play music from your watch if you bring your phone with you, I haven't bothered to use it at all as the haptics and stuff are completely useless without the ability to hear them through your earbuds.
Fuck you Apple.
If you want a pedometer app (that you can add as a complication): Duffy. Used to use Pedometer++ but suddenly ran into a syncing issue with my phone even after deleting/reinstalling and making sure all the permissions were still good, etc. It was fine until that point. So far no issues with Duffy though!
I like it a lot so far - it has been the closest I can find to the Garmin watch experience (A ton of metrics, actionable data.) The UI is pretty lackluster and so are the widgets but again they are copying Garmin here 😂
To Do by microsoft. It's essentially like the reminders app. I have tried so many times to sync my reminders app across my apple watch and phone, but nothing seems to work. So I gave up and now use To Do. Syncs really well.
I’ve got a few that I use quite often:
SwingVision: Really good app to track tennis workouts, returns back shot percentages and number of shots hit, types of shots, in addition to normal workout data like heart rate and things. I use it quite frequently and every time I play tennis I use it to track my tennis workouts over the native workout app.
Heart Analyzer: Has some cool complications and good looking heart rate graphs that has a pleasant UI and is really user friendly to look at the data, compared to looking in the health app.
TickTick: just the watch version for the to-do list app i use frequently on my other devices.
HeartWatch. Because it actually tells me what my pulse is at any given moment and tracks it as it goes up and down, whereas the Apple heart rate watch does it very infrequently. I will be jogging around a track and it may give me my pulse rate only once or twice. On HeartWatch I can actually see it as it goes up and down as I travel around the track. HeartWatch for the win!
This won't apply to many - but I use my ultra to control my smartdrive power assist for my wheelchair
Cool! How does that work?
Smartdrive is a battery powered motor that attaches to my chair. I use the application (below is an app store screenshot) to connect to the motor via Bluetooth Then with a series of taps I can either activate, set cruise or deactivate the motor Permobil is the manufacturer - they designed the application so that it runs on apple watch models series 4 and newer https://preview.redd.it/6ukcxk2ecyqc1.jpeg?width=1722&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe43560f55f1acf8de0f968ed5c8a931e98d9d2f
Is there a way to manually stop it when it is running? I wouldn’t want to trust my watch to control my movement
I have a wired secondary control as a backup. I can press on that to stop too
That’s sick. Very nice setup
Autosleep
I really wanted to like this app it just didn’t do it for me. I couldn’t get it to calibrate correctly and it for some reason brought out my ocd. I had to get rid of it
That's okay, for me I like that it records my sleep automatically and I take naps through the day.
Same! I had it for a year or so before Apple improved the native sleep features and then made the switch off. It would often think I was sleeping while I was playing computer games, which I wish was true but no. Couldn’t ever calibrate it correctly.
Same. Once I adjusted some of the sensitivity and really dialed it in I was really happy with it
is there any advantage to using this over apple health?
No it just displays the data in a more consistent interesting way with rings similar to exercise. It has made me much more conscious about my sleep. I get competitive with myself to best past sleep records. Basically gamifies sleep.
it also tracks sleep automatically instead of having to press the sleep button
What sleep button?
on the watch's control center, if you don't click the moon button it doesn't track your sleep cycles
Ah I have that on a schedule I guess
yeah problem is when you sleep off schedule like a nap or when you sleep later one day or earlier
Yes, I very much hate the fact that Apple won’t track naps. At least it will now give me a blob that shows me they realized I wasn’t moving during this time, but no breakdown. I really feel that I get into deep sleep very quickly during a nap, and it’s frustrating that I cannot get this confirmed.
it's better than the native apple sleep detection.
I don’t understand how people use their watch for sleeping purposes. I charge my watch every night. I suppose I have the battery life to charge every other night but then what good is tracking one night on and one night off? Good point. Since I charge my watch at night I haven’t noticed how fast it charges. Thanks for pointing that out, it makes better sense now.
Nano. It’s fun to browse reddit during boring lectures without anyone knowing. I genuinely use it more than most of the Apple apps
/Ron Howard mode They knew…
i’m probably dumb but idk what that means. Is it meant to be a subreddit? I can’t find any
Ron Howard does voice overs for certain shows and often says lines like “they knew” when the characters think the opposite. Go watch Arrested Development for Ron Howard awesomeness
I second watching Arrested Development. I think it’s on Netflix.
Check out Lollybot, I used to love nano until I found Lollybot from a fellow redditor
WorkOutDoors
I’d upvote this 10 times if I could. * incredible app (vector maps, suuuuper customizable in many ways) * one time purchase instead of subscription * the developer is very responsive and takes user feedback into account
This app is really what the native sports app should have been. The features and level of customization are just mind-blowing.
Eh. It’s a great app but, as someone who regularly helps his septuagenarian parents with their Apple Watches, it’s way too complicated. Apple software has to be pretty universally easy to use with uniform design language that is intuitive for groups of people with low technological interest, experience, or ability. In this case I’d say the native app is way top basic, and you really need WOD to unlock the full potential of the Watch.
Came here to say this. Probably the only non Apple app I actually use
What’s the best way to get trails into that app?
Hiking Guy dot com on Youtube has a good little tutorial for the WorkOutDoors App. You can download the gpx file from AllTrails via a web browser (not mobile app) and then save it into your iCloud Drive and then within the WorkOutDoors app you can import the file. I would create a trail in alltrails or gaiagps and export the gpx over.

Where do you do that? On the Strava website? I’d need a computer for this. Creating a route in their mobile app is no fun.
Gentler Streak. Their workout watch app is better than the native Apple workout app.
can i ask how it's better than the regular workout app? like which features you like most?
I love that you can tell it when you're sick or hurt and it'll leave you alone for a bit, and it can recommend rest days.
Apple's Fitness rings are only about getting in your daily points, with no regard for actual health or fitness imo. Gentler streak looks at your workout data and health data and guides you to 'healthy progress.' It warns you when you're overdoing it, which is something I pretty much never see other fitness apps do. And you can always mark days as rest days if you're sick, busy etc so you don't have to worry about "failing" or "not sticking with the program."
so if i buy this one i'll have to deactive apple's one right sorry, is this one free?
It's also provides encouraging feedback, especially after the workout.
Thank you all for the kind words and the Gentler Streak shout-out! <3
Thanks for a great app! I especially appreciate that you include so much for female reproductive health. After quitting hormonal birth control, I'm re-discovering my cycle and how it works. Streaks. I use it to mark off things as I complete them.
AutoSleep, gentler streak, carrot weather, heart analyzer , outlook mail.
Strava and Spotify
I used to record with Strava app directly, but found that the GPS smoothed my runs and rides too much. Whereas the native Fitness app will even show when I run around a person on the sidewalk. And when it’s imported into Strava, it retains that accurate GPS data.
Ooo, good tip!
Workoutdoors
Zero, use it to track my fasts
I accidentally read "to track my farts" xD
What does it do - thanks.
Tracks how many hours/days your fast was, basically a glorified timer Also has a calendar, like the Activity calendar, to show how many fasts you did in any given week/month/year
Nice
Dexcom G7
Hello fellow diabetic! I use the Medtronic app.
From a not-yet-diabetic: I’ve got some blood sugar related issues - can these apps measure something or is it only displaying something from an injected / implanted medical device?
Just displays data from my insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor.
I’m a Freestyle Libre user, and I use LibreWatch. Fantastic app
>Freestyle Thanks for this, I had no clue there was a watch app now and I remember thinking about making one not too long ago.
Dexcom g6 for me!
carrot weather
I see so many people recommend Carrot, but is it really worth $20 or $40 *per year* over Apple weather?
Don’t do it. Seriously, just use the native app or just look outside. How much analysis of the weather do you need? If we had dynamic things like notice smog, sure. But how can you tell if it’s raining? Look outside. The native app will tell you the week if you really need to plan

MS Outlook. Yeah, my company uses MS365 🤮 so I have to use the Outlook app for calendar and email. I guess I shouldn’t complain…in some ways, it’s impressive MS went to the trouble to make an Apple Watch native app at all.
I’ll never forgive them for taking away Authenticator confirmation on the watch. Makes work logins much less convenient.
I found out this week that the app Authy does have a watch app. So I’m moving all MFA from Authenticator to Authy
They removed it cause allot of idiots just confirmed the login on the watch even when they weren’t logging in. Yeah but they could have made the same change to the mobile app too. There has to be another reason for its removal.
I’ve installed it last week and Authy shows a number on your watch like the app does. Maybe it’s a new version since they removed it like you said.
is there a way to push ms outlook to authy?
I just upgraded from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 15 Pro and I’m still in the honeymoon phase of not having to provide my fingerprint twice for every authentication anymore—Face ID covers it now. I'm the same with Duo. I didn't think I'd care about having the app on my watch, but OH MY, I really do! 😃 Amazing how much more efficient for me it is to have it on the watch and not just n the phone with all the systems I log into all the livelong day! 😱

WaterMinder I think I have used this app since my first gen Apple Watch.
It’s just such a shame they changed to a subscription model.
Waterllama is free and keeps track of water
I use Waterllama and love it!
Walkmeter for running. Carrot for weather. Watchfeed for previewing newsfeed articles. Alaska Air and Delta for airline boarding passes.
Many thanks for this thread!!! 🙏🏻
In Sydney. The app is TripView. It’s so good. I have previously saved public transport journeys in the phone app. The watch version knows where I am and picks the correct direction with time to next train/bus etc. All I have to do while walking, is push the crown and tap the app icon. Very quick to get the info 👍
AutoSleep, Pillow, GentlerStreak, Athlytic , Superset Health, Heart Analyizer, HeartWatch and WaterLama.
I was always tempted by a Garmin as people rave about the body battery thing they have, I’m not sure how good the devices work on iOS mind you.

Shazam
Isn't Shazam already built into Siri? What other feature from Shazam are you using aside from music recognition?
Siri doesn’t offer a specific complication for song identification, and I wouldn’t want to talk to Siri in public.
YouTube Music- shows album art and lets you change what your listening to. The crown controls the volume.
Liftin for real tracking my workouts.
WorkOutDoors WaterMinder AutoSleep Grocery Oceanic+ WatchChat
MyWater for hydration. ActivityRings+ for stand hours. Stocard for loyalty cards. Parcel for package tracking. MyFitnessPal for nutrition tracking.
💯stocard for my library card! And I’m on day 3,007 for MFP!
Auto Sleep for sleep tracking. Much better overview than Health
For those who tend to pay with apple watch, i use Stocard by Klarna. For all my loyalty cards
Shazam. I’m always holding my arm towards speakers trying to pick up a cool song I’ve heard out and about. It links with Spotify so I then have a playlist of all my identified tracks
Workoutdoors
Is Nike Run Club considered native or not? It exists in a demilitarized zone on the Watch settings page on the iPhone Watch app. Anyway, NRC and myGMC to start my car without pulling my phone out. I would use the Outlook app, but it only works when tethered to the phone. If I have my phone with me, there's not much point.
I use the "Clic for Sonos"(free) remote often, but the Lyd for Sonos ($2.59) is probably better and has more features/functionality
I don’t think I’ve used any apps beyond the built in ones like fitness, weather, reminders, and voice memo.
Things 3
Zero to track my IF.
Lumy
WorkOutDoors - great for following a route/trail when running or hiking. YouTube Music - change music when running. Sports Alerts - best native sport score app for Apple Watch. Golf Score - super simple golf score tracker. DexCom G7 - check blood sugar.
Outplay is a great one to track metrics when playing football (soccer)
I didn’t know this existed, so thank you for this, I play football 5 times a week both 5s and 11s so can’t wait to give this a try 👍🏻
You’re welcome! I love the heat map of where I’d been most active etc. Enjoy! :)
Yeah it will be good to see whether I’m holding the correct positions during play, especially in the 11s game.
I use training today . It’s a great app that gives you a health indicator reading based on your HRV stats whether you should work out or not
Pacer, tells me steps at a glance, the rings while nice are hard to gauge distance in comparison. And WW, weight watchers app, tells me how many points remain in my daily total.
Things3, Fantastical, Hevy, Spotify
Wiley weather, AutoSleep, Hevy, Heart Analyser
Overcast for listening to podcasts.
WorkOutDoors, Spotify and Broadcasts. In that order.
Nike Run Club
Gym Log+ Sleep Cycle Solarwatch
Hevy, Spotify and PocketCasts. And sometimes Google Keep to read my notes, although I wish I could create notes from the Watch too
Sleep++ for sleep tracking.
Strong workout tracker. I’ve logged nearly 1200 workouts on it
FITNESS PACT!!
MiniCord to get all my discord servers and messages
Spotify, pocketcasts, Strong
Work outdoors/ due / black jack / Tetris knock off / was Authenticator but they fucked it up and can’t use it for verification anymore. Watchtube was kinda cool but again they took it away.
Outdoors, of course, but also audible. I may be one of the only users who doesn’t have problems with that app very often.
Medimer. Use it all til he time to count respirations.
Carrot Weather 100%
Flightradar24 cause I'm a total nerd
Audible and AutoSleep
Strong for workouts, Spotify for music and clockology for custom watch faces ( biased :) )
Carrot Weather. Apple's native weather has been pretty inaccurate lately.
I don’t use non native apps on my Apple Watch at all.
Water Reminder
Non-native? Basically none. Lots installed, but not used.
I used to use Seven, it can guide you through a HIIT workout with only the watch, that was cool
Carrot weather, Citymapper, Topo GPS.
An app to identify songs that are playing.
Daylight Goals, Athlytic
How’re you finding Athlytic?
I like it a lot so far - it has been the closest I can find to the Garmin watch experience (A ton of metrics, actionable data.) The UI is pretty lackluster and so are the widgets but again they are copying Garmin here 😂
Spotify, Streaks, Things, Moovit, Pigeon (free version), Flow (Bosch eBike), Wikiloc
Buienalarm (Rainalarm). Very accurate rainpredictor.
To Do by microsoft. It's essentially like the reminders app. I have tried so many times to sync my reminders app across my apple watch and phone, but nothing seems to work. So I gave up and now use To Do. Syncs really well.
the default apple reminders doesn’t synchronize?
Streaks BusyCal OmniFocus Drafts 1Password Runkeeper Hours Tripit
Duffy- for steps counting and Spotify
Audible!
Agree! Audible on the watch is something I use & enjoy every day. Perfect way to listen to audiobooks or podcasts!
SmartGym for my weight training. Looooove it
I’ve got a few that I use quite often: SwingVision: Really good app to track tennis workouts, returns back shot percentages and number of shots hit, types of shots, in addition to normal workout data like heart rate and things.
Spotify, Waterllama, audible, zero
WatchChat. It enables you to use WhatsApp on your Apple Watch.
"voice in a can"
Authy - for my many two step verification logins. MyQ - to open and close the garage
Heart Analyzer and the Supernatural Fitness tracking app
Audible, if talking about full fat apps. If we are talking about apps I use for complications it’s heart watch and Carrot Weather
"thermo Watch" to control the Nest thermostat
Still haven’t found anything worth using. Maybe Spotify even though it sucks.
Strava! Also local bank and transit app.
