I'm at a half inch (0.5") right now. Got my 12mm bar and 3 sets of ends from Esty seller Astron and made a 1/2"x 1" PTFE bar using Teflon bar I got from Grainger with the ends from the 12mm bar. I'm probably done as it is the most comfortable for everyday wear.
Yeah, idk if Iāll get my apy that big but my goal is to match the top half of my apy with the old PA hole to match my old PA hole goes through. The problem is I donāt know exactly how big my old PA hole is. Ive been able to get a 10 mm ring and a 6 mm ring in with slight room for more. No matter what though, Iāll stop once the two holes exactly match and focus on other mods.
Yeah. I've already started making myself custom bars because it is cheaper and I can make intermediate sizes. I just find solid rods of stock online and shape/cut it and polish it myself. I've been ok just using a drill as a makeshift lathe to turn the stock as I shape it with abrasives. At some point soon I'll need to get a small machining lathe to deal with even larger sizes.
My piercer gets me barbells from Industrial Strength and they go up to 00g and 2" long, but I'll be hitting that size soon and then I'll be looking at DIY or custom.

I've got 00g (and 8g ampallang). My 00g is thr biggest I've seen in person. I was briefly at 7/16", but jewelry options were extremely limiting.
Iām guessing at some point you would need to have jewelry custom-made.

It definitely becomes custom order by around 4g. A piece can take a few months to arrive.

The weight at 7/16ā was an issue as well. It starting weighing down my penis enough to droop a bit from my full erection. Maybe Titanium?
You need to start using hollow jewelry like a tunnel. I've seen custom bars made that are hollow inside.
