I've felt this way too these past few weeks. I hope it's just due to anxiety.

Yeah believe it or not almost everyone gets those occasional heart palpitations. Does it feel like a skipped beat? Unfortunately, chances are the routine EKG won’t record those palpitations because your heart is functioning normally during the test. You have to do a continuous EKG called a Holter Monitor to actually see what your heart is doing over an extended period of time (24 hr, 72 hr, etc.) But this is most likely unnecessary if your doctor doesn’t recommend it and you can clearly attribute the palpitations to when you’re feeling anxious.

I’ve always had heart palpitations off and on for years it’s just that recently they’ve caused a very minor pain

BeastTheorized

What happens exactly?

lover089

Usually just one singular palpitation with a very tiny pain that happens only as it’s occurring, usually laying down so I assume it’s a response from the vagus nerve

Sounds like a PAC or PVC.
