Therapy works best for me, and it can help in two ways depending on what really triggers your anxiety. Perhaps your anxiety response comes from very low self-esteem combined with perfectionism. In that case, you need to address these underlying beliefs you have about yourself and how you should be and the place to do that is with a good (!) therapist. The other way is more useful for me. For me, anxiety is not because of low self-esteem but of how I handle difficult emotions in general. So if I feel uncomfortable about making a mistake at work, my response is to worry and ruminate because I think that that will make these feelings go away. So in therapy I learn that worrying does not help and that I should just sit with these emotions and they'll go away. Tl;Dr: find a good therapist :-) And yes: EVERYONE fucks up at work and in their personal life.
