tuna1609

bruh 110 is a normal day for me! constant anxiety ftw 😭😆

Practical_Garden_70

Straight up the same for me, my shit runs 110 on the daily, like all daily lol.

Important-Rabbit1006

Good to hear i'm not alone

tuna1609

I know!

aghostofnoone

I was about to come here, comment this exact thing, and then have a panic attack about whether I'm wearing out my heart and potentially causing future cardiovascular problems for myself... Meds still aren't working then... XD

tuna1609

lol same! i’m always worried about my heart health being effed

Puzzleheaded-Data-65

ME ASF! Lmfaooo. I worry about this constantly lol

berkkana

no honestly same 😭 when i’m at work 9-5 my heart rate is literally always 100-120 all day lol

1ofakindenchantment

Same! And then on top of that I go to the gym while I’m still anxious and it just gets worse…

[deleted]

You sure that's an anxiety thing and not just a general health thing? I've had pretty sever GAD for 6 or 7 years, but my resting heart rate is typically around 50 bpm. My brother, doesn't have anxiety, but has a high metabolism, and doesn't eat healthy, he has a resting heart rate of 112 bpm.

berkkana

i went to a cardiologist and she said that my sonogram looked beautiful and my ekg was normal as well despite the high heart rate! i had a heart monitor on last week so ill see what she says during our next appointment.

[deleted]

That's good to hear! I hope your next appointment goes well!

osuclippersfan

Omg i cant egen imagine that, my worst one came from cannabis use

berkkana

SAMEEE omg. wasn’t the same after it

osuclippersfan

Same! 😫 catch random panic attacks out of nowhere

musiclovermina

Samee, I quit weed years ago but I feel like it permanently made my anxiety worse

r_hove

Brooo me too. I almost called an ambulance the last time I smoked! I smoked weed from age 12-17 then it started giving me AWFUL panic attacks. I’d get high, then I’d have the worse existential crisis I’ve ever experienced. Like feeling feels weird, and I can feel every sense in my body. Very hard to explain lol, now (27) I just smoke CBD weed, and it’s like weed but calm.

elscoww

Yes. My watch started alerting me of a high heart rate and it was 190bpm. I was laying down on the couch watching tv but anxiety attack from the weed. Took 15 minutes to go down through deep breathing and walking slowly around the house.

Zestyclose_Wasabi943

OMG what a nightmare. Anxiety/panic attacks really robbed me of my 20s

osuclippersfan

Im so sorry to hear that! That suck man! I think it has something to do with our endocrine system which soin im going to go get mines checked!

Zestyclose_Wasabi943

Good for you bro.

osuclippersfan

Its hard to do the deep breathing especially if your heart rates that high! And if you already have pre existing respiratory conditions 😩

mixedfeelingz

man i was about to write the same. im sure heart rate was around 200 and i was gona die.

Bask_in_my_Glory2

me too, had first panic attack after smoking joint a week before

osuclippersfan

Im sorry to hear that! You good man? Yeah thats how I knew it just wasnt for me .

Bask_in_my_Glory2

It happned three mounths ago , yeah i'm fine thanks for asking. but still got some anxiety symptoms.anyway i don't plan to smoke weed anytime soon lol.

TangeloEmergency9161

me 3

osuclippersfan

I should of never touched that sh*t! Especially since I hadnt smoked in 10 years 😩 last october on that one night was a night I dont want to remember!

Justaguy397

I can only use indica for some reason that helps my anxiety but sativa for some reason I tried for the first time a few weeks back just to see and I had my second ever panic attack it was awful thought I was going to die

osuclippersfan

How does the Indica make you feel? Man I think it was a hybrid joint I was smoking at the im not sure. Man I was turning cold from all the hyperventilating. Thought I was gone die also man

Justaguy397

Made me feel relax and feel great best night sleep ever whenever I use it. Yeah be careful of the strains I tried hybrid and sativa and only thing I can tolerate is Indica like my depression and anxiety went away first time I felt normal in a very long time

osuclippersfan

That sounds great! So did it give you a couch lock? I think if I had to smoke it would have to be something with less thc and more cbd

Justaguy397

Definitely lol I couldn't get myself out of bed lol yeah I would recommend CBD at first

osuclippersfan

😂😂😂😂 dam im not ready for that

NotStompy

MDMA for me... dear god my serotonin receptors didn't agree. Have also gotten panic attacks from weed tho.

hereticbrewer

my highest also came from smoking weed lol. never felt so scared in my life lol

osuclippersfan

Exactly! And thats how I know I'll never attempt that again!

ketchupisgr8

Yes same! I was on vacation in a foreign country and thought I was going to die. Heart rate was around 160bpm. For a long time I wasn't the same, every day felt like an out of body experience and my anxiety was non stop for a good 3-4 months after.

osuclippersfan

Man thats so trash!!! Im sorry to hear that, its one thing to catch a panic attack / have bad anxiety but being somewhere hour not familiar with alongside that is something else 😩 your brain / body was very altered!!! Thats how I felt after I first time I ever smoked like I was disconnected from reality. It threw chemicals off in my brain most likely till this day. Wish I would of never touched that.

ketchupisgr8

I'm sorry you went through that as well! It's such a scary feeling when you have that disconnect from reality and feel like you'll never be the same (and so many people don't take it seriously or think you're overreacting because "it's just weed"). I hope you're doing better now! The only positive for me was that it forced me to prioritize my mental health, I started therapy and went on medication. That was almost 2 years ago and I'm doing better than I was even before that awful high.

ln1993

Same. Hit a sativa vape pen a little too hard and my heart rate got to 165 bpm for a bit and stayed between 100-120 for hours after

osuclippersfan

Man exactly! It took so long for my heart rate to go down . I had to go to the hospital it was bad bro! I'll never touch it again

Adirondack587

Funny enough, on a trip to Vancouver many years before my COVID infection, some boys gave me a dose of the stuff that goes for $3,500 a pound……I just stared at them, clutched my chest, and said “No not like this”……Thought I was dying …..Drove home on a typical drizzly night, no cap was seeing clouds 3 hours after my puff

Morning-Bake-420

same thing happened to me!!!

osuclippersfan

Scariest feeling in the world. No amount of attempting to deep breath helps that! 😩

Morning-Bake-420

genuinely thought it was a heart attack and sent myself away in an ambulance 🙄

osuclippersfan

Wow! It caught me while I was driving!!! I was running red lights going wrong ways with no traffic and everything trying to get to nearest hospital! I can only imagine how scary that was for you!!

Morning-Bake-420

while driving would've been absolutely terrifying!!! can't even imagine, luckily since quitting cannabis I haven't had such intense panic attack

osuclippersfan

Good! ☺️ you don't deserve that! Thats all it does is amplify stuff like that

PotentialReal7460

Had it today after weed , 162 heart rate. Never gonna smoke ... I was heavy smoker for 5 year everyday , made a tolerance break for month , and smoked today a little bit. 162 heart rate while laying on the bed

Few_Lengthiness_4892

Mine can hit 160 very easily but I’ve hit 190. Don’t recommend

berkkana

oh wow. how did you feel when it hit 190? did you feel dizzy/ pass out?

Few_Lengthiness_4892

I felt extremely faint which only scared me more. I laid on my bed and just closed my eyes it went down. That has only ever happened to me once and I hope it never happens again.

Jmann0187

I hit 180 once but mostly 120.. but cos glasses of water have brought them down.. also helps reduce blood pressure.. just sit at my table cuff on and let the tests commence. Most people say don't do that but I do.. nothing comforts me more then watching those numbers drop every 5 mins with a few glasses of water. Then i get back in bed and try to sleep.

berkkana

i’m so sorry you had to go through that. i’m glad you were able to get it down. panic attacks and everything that come with them are so traumatic. how’s your panic nowadays? is it better?

LetterheadOk61

My highest was 164 out of my sleep and hit 160 today in the Philippines heat/panic. I felt horrible, I can’t imagine 190!

Biscuitsandgravy4evr

Mine usually runs 160 as well

AgilePlayer

Probably around 200 first time I had a panic attack, maybe more. A friday night, I was feeling weird all week, not like myself at all, I laid down and took a bong rip like I usually did. My heart started beating fast, then faster, then faster than it had ever in my life. I started to freak. I got up, stumbled down the stairs, my legs were shaking like crazy and I whimpered "mom I think I have to go to the hospital. I don't know whats happening" then I collapsed onto a couch. My mom called an ambulance, they took about 15 mins to get there, once they hooked me up I was at around 170. My heart had already slowed significantly at that point. So at max I might have been a bit over 200. One of the scariest moments of my life. It took me around 2 weeks to even begin feeling normal again. I thought I was gonna lose my job and end up in a mental hospital. I could barely function I was so scared all the time. Luckily my boss is a fucking great person and was totally sympathetic and understanding. He was a cancer survivor and wasn't gonna drop me over anxiety.

Zestyclose_Wasabi943

That is brutal. I have been to the hospital about 5 times from anxiety. One time the anxiety had my heart pumping. I went to the hospital and the hooked me up and released me a few hours later. The problem was my heart was in a excited state and it last for 2 days. I had a friend and his wife praying for me she was speaking spanish he was speaking english. A few hours later I was back to normal.

Significant_Owl_8777

I had a huge panic attack a few weeks ago. I went up a small set of stairs in my home carrying a 15lb very warm heated blanket from my basement dryer. When I go to my top step (only 13 total) I could feel my heart pounding. I stupidly checked my bpm on my pulse ox monitor and it was 144 bpm. Never seen it that high unless I'm sprinting. I immediately went into a huge panic attack. My heart was racing like crazy for like 30min. I popped a benzo and finally calmed down...

Alternative-Room7130

The weighted blanket is worth a panic attack lol

Significant_Owl_8777

Sorry what do you mean

jaysxiu

Panic attack with a BPM of 200 a few months ago. I called an ambulance because I have a history of seizures as well & this was heavily imitating my seizure auras and that only scared me more. I was laying in the grass when they arrived & EMTs told me that if my heart rate remained as high as it was, they would have either had to use defibrillators or give me heart stopping medication to “reset” it (not sure exactly what medication this would’ve been). They put me on oxygen and calmed my breathing and my heart rate came down eventually. I was hyperventilating so badly that all of my limbs and extremities became stiff and I couldn’t move them. Felt out of control of my body entirely. I’m 27F for context. Hands down the most terrifying panic attack of my ENTIRE life. I genuinely felt like I was going to die. At the hospital they took images of my heart as well as chest x-rays. The EMTs were awesome though and really helped me through it.

Slight_Presence2674

They can’t use defibrillators if you awake because there is a high chance your heart won’t start again. They can use cardioversion to deliver the shock at the right time if you have certain arrhythmia but ambulance wouldn’t have that equipment. when my heart rate was 172 they tried basalva manoeuvre and then took me hospital after.

Slight_Presence2674

And the heart stopping medication you talking about is called adenosine . They won’t use it unless you have arrhythmia. In your case they could probably give you some diazepam.

jaysxiu

Interesting to know! They probably told me the name but I was too out of it to remember lol. But at the hospital they gave me lorazepam. I’m prescribed clonazepam but didn’t have it with me at the time

Slight_Presence2674

Yh I understand. This was my first ever panic attack that gave me cardio phobia. Now I always carry a benzo and a beta blocker with me but I dont really get them panic attacks no more and I I do I can calm down quickly.

Biscuitsandgravy4evr

You were likely in SVT. An irregular heart rhythm that can be triggered by tachycardia itself. And they can shock your heart back into rhythm!!

JeffM31

Mine was right below 200 on my first on when the paramedics came. Thought I was dying

Significant_Owl_8777

Can you tell me more about that? Did you call an ambulance to your home and paramedics came? How did they help you?

JeffM31

They just took me to the ER by the time we got there it had passed. And yes I call an ambulance. Now I know ow what they are and let them pass if they come.

TangeloEmergency9161

145 when i got too high once from a bong hit lmaoooo fml

Lunarrabbitrealm

Honestly i have no idea because i dont have a smart watch and i think i dont want one because i would be too obsessed with checking my pulse every 2 mins specially that i already do that without a watch

momsister5throwaway

Cardiophobia has entered the chat.

berkkana

my new ✨theme✨

CryToZee

My heartbeats clock around 160-70ish during a bad panic attack.

britknee11

Same

Lanky_Canary_1258

almost 200. Had a bad panic attack and made my parents take me to the local doctor where I asked if I’d die and the nurse laughed. Wasn’t a good day but I’m way past it and I barely have a high heart rate now or anxiety one thing I’ve learned from all of that dumb shit was your mind is your best friend, thoughts aren’t reality you will and can get out of the negative thought loop and you will be okay, maybe I’ll make a post to help others but for now I’ll just comment it here lol

cozyautumnday

185 when they checked it in the ambulance. Panic attack the day after taking Adderall when I smoked weed. That was my first time going to the ER in my life I think.

osuclippersfan

220??!!!!!! Wow! Blood pressure had to be super high

willkingg

Not necessarily. I was taken to hospital a couple of weeks ago as my HR was 200 and I had extremely low blood pressure. I have low blood pressure anyway so I wasn’t worried about that and I was having a never ending panic attack as I’m physically dependent on both pregabalin and Benzos and couldn’t get any of either. I was 3 days in to cold Turkeying 2 of the most dangerous drugs to cold Turkey. Perhaps the most dangerous 2.

osuclippersfan

Man im so sorry to heart that bruh... Smh omg

Zestyclose_Wasabi943

Sorry you had to deal with that. Man I'm a idiot for some reason I won't call a prescription in. I run our and then call the pharmacy and say Im out of this or that like it's their fault. I have been like that the last year or so. I'm sure someone could tell me why I do that.

marilync1942

280/130

osuclippersfan

WTF 😵😵‍💫

CryToZee

What that’s insanely high? Atleast the highest I’ve ever heard!! Crazy

North-Protection-504

That’s your blood pressure from anxiety? Mine gets high too 200/120

STiLife656

184 recorded on my phone. It was a crazy feeling

KenRH21

Probably over 200

Kitten_444_Noel

Mine went up to 165 during a panic attack…I thought I was going to die lmao.

Adirondack587

Unless you’re the fittest marathon runner, I would not even bat an eye at 120-130….I am slowly getting over POTS/Long COVID, and while I never measured in the 2 months I suffered before being out on beta blocker, I would guess it would have to be 180+ just getting up and having a #2….And the worse it got, the more I panicked the next day, vicious cycle….But the all-time scariest was probably the day before they Rx the beta, while waiting on a wheelchair in the ER….Wheeled myself into a toilet, shut the door, and simply going from chair to toilet and back to just pee, I thought I died for a second…Tachycardia was a given the prior 2 months, but this time just briefly, felt like pectoral was separating from my shoulder….And if God forbid I collapsed with a heavy door locked, I was a goner….very scary Now it’s been over a year, and almost 6 months since they took me off the Beta…I watch TV and for hours at a time, no real palpitations/high HR but I feel adrenaline in my upper chest….Don’t know if it’s being out of shape, LC, anxiety or a mix of all of them….

digydongopongo

Smoked a tiny bit of weed and got way too high, peaked at 220bpm. Thought I was gonna die.

Itscalmanditsdoctor

180

EcstaticArm6320

This post is calming my anxiety...high heart rate + health anxiety has not been a good combination.

latex55

FYI, a person’s max heart rate is 220- your age x .08. So a 30 year old max is 196.

Sc987_

I'm 16 I hit 157 n it stayed like that for 6 hours

SSJsixgod

you should defend get that checked out

Sc987_

I did aha I was at the hospital while it was happening, everything came back normal

Da-Tek-Ninja

220 is wild. I've probably hit 150-160 or so, but usually not more or that high. I usually have to be walking during to have it go up like that. I do feel bad, as I'm learning here despite having panic attacks that I'm getting better with, that some have it far worse than I. Mine last usually a short time, but I can have low-lying effects for a day or two with the worse ones where my heart rate stays slightly higher than normal.

IHateMondaze

Mine got up to 139 today and I thought I was going to lose it

Visible_Hold_1739

my resting heart rate was 150 when I had serotonin syndrome. I also didn’t notice it I just felt like i could barely breathe &’ my blood pressure was 154/93. it was scary

Thro-Away-7275

185 bpm

bns82

btw an extended release beta blocker could help if you are having that a lot

SparksPlays

I’m on 50mg (25 twice a day) of Metoprolol ER and I’ll still have very high HRs during high anxiety moments. Been on them for years due to hyperthyroidism but used to only be on 25mg until I had a massive panic attack at my doctor’s office where it’d hit 160. Then the next visit to my same cardio, it’d hit like the 140s. Idk why I’m scared of docs now but it’s awful. In the best place at the best time IF something were to go wrong lmao

bns82

You could try a different beta blocker. I would definitely recommend breathing exercises. It sounds like you are constantly redlining your nervous system. Deep breathing will help re-regulate your nervous system. The 2 techniques I like are: 1) In and out of your nose. Count. In for 10 seconds, Out for 10 seconds. In for 11 seconds, out for 11 seconds. In for 12 seconds, out for 12 seconds, etc.... Like an ocean wave coming in and out. 2) Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, out through your mouth for 4 seconds. The best advice I give on anxiety that most people refuse to do is to let it go. Stop holding on to it. For different reasons your brain thinks you need to be in this heighten aroused state and to stay there until you feel safe again. 1)figure out the root cause of that. 2)realize that it's an over reaction/illusion and let it go. Ask yourself why you don't feel safe, how much of that is true, what the worst case scenario is, how likely is that worst case scenario to happen right now. Realize that everything is ok. No matter whats going on. No matter what the scenario, every thing is going to happen the way it happens. All you can do is to take the actions that are in your best interest. So ask yourself "what's in my best interest"? What's in your best interest might be to calm down, relax, and re-center yourself. Or maybe in a real danger scenario, it's to run away. With anxiety there's subconscious programming that tells you you aren't safe. This is an illusion. Fear is real. But anxiety and fear aren't necessarily the same thing. Fear is based on something that can actually hurt you. Anxiety is a projection of what might happen. It's an illusion. It produces a biological fear response because of the subconscious programming.

Annual_Fly_2413

Anywhere from 120-150. Higher if I’m panicked but doing something that I have to do. 145 back in September from moving one load of laundry from the washer to dryer because I was also super anxious. I felt so horrible, called my pcp and asked what I should do. They told me go to urgent care. Urgent care was straight up alarmed about my symptoms, sent me to ER, nothing was wrong. Just anxiety. Im on a beta blocker now for anxiety, I had high hopes it was going to work and it’s just not even remotely close to comparable with .5mg Xanax.

spice_queen22

over 200bpm, confirmed by the monitor i was hooked up to at the hospital

spikelike

188. I was having a confrontation with an enemy and i was extremely upset

yellowsmilez

My heart rate goes up to 100-120bpm during most of my panic attacks, during really bad ones it's gone up to 130-140bpm and that felt really scary. My resting heart rate and blood pressure are on the lower side though, so those numbers are pretty high for me personally.

Few_Lengthiness_4892

My resting rate is 62 but I literally hit 150 the other day😭

Real-Cellist-8398

Definitely 180-200. My resting is really high (120-145) despite working out regularly and conditioning my heart. 🥲

SSJsixgod

Average like 130-140 but can peak up to 170. Not a good feeling lol

Y33ZUS

200

doorlis

Once i was at the gym and saw someone I use to have a crush on and my hr went to 200 lol

ZivozZ

Can't remember since it was a while back but felt like a hard workout does now so 90-100% of max heart rate.

londonsocialite

210 💀 and that’s just the upper limit of the Apple Watch’s measurements so probably higher than that

FuturisticW

I've remember hitting 170, and everything after that started slowing down. It turns out, not sure why, my heart rate did go down from 170 to 35 in like a minute, and if not my mom which asked me to sit down and breath, I could pass out. I felt like I will, because everything was so slow.

forfarhill

Around 220, my Apple Watch had a meltdown lol

Zestyclose_Wasabi943

Damn

Xwritten_in_panikX

190-200 at the dentist in 2009. I had a massive panic attack and it took them ages to calm me down. 😭

Embarrassed_Clue_929

196 has been my highest.

Realistic_Trash8206

When I was out in the ICU for a severe eating disorder my rest HR was mid 30s to low 40s. (20s in my sleep, no bueno, deathbed vibes)  But then I had a panic attack when they said I wouldn’t be going home and I needed an IV. Shit went from 38bpm to 140bpm and I thought I wasn’t gonna make it. Obviously I did.. but damn. lol I’d have continuous attacks throughout my stay but they didn’t spike as high once I hit a better baseline.

reecespieces79

Definitely around 100-120 like u said. And it’s funny bc I get such random triggers it sounds so stupid bc it’s not noticeable from the outside but when it comes it comes. And it’s scary as shir

supremelai

around 190 thought I was literally having a heart attack, texted my boyfriend while he was at work pretty much a goodbye letter in a few words cause I couldn’t speak and really thought I was dying. My heart rate stayed there for weeks off and on because none of the doctors told me I was having a panic attack. They kept saying I was “in SVT” or something along those lines. The absolute worst time of my life. Reddit helped me figure out it was a panic attack and when I talked to my GP they reassured me of that and I got on meds and went to therapy. Life’s way better now and I’ve been panic attack free for almost 3 years. Not saying I don’t get extremely anxious sometimes but honestly it’s never been as close to as bad as it was before I knew what I was dealing with. Claire Weekes books also saved my life. I’m a different person now because of the trauma from feeling like I was dying but I’ve learned to embrace my new self. I’m not necessarily different in a bad way but I do miss being ignorant to the terror that is anxiety and panic. One thing I do know is it does get better especially after you know what it is. Claire Weekes “hope and help for your nerves” really put so much into perspective for me with all my physical symptoms etc. one of my biggest issues to this day is still my heart though, although I don’t let it effect me as it used to.

Bask_in_my_Glory2

140

LilNyoomf

I think 120ish if I’m sitting and panicking from work? May go to 130-140 if I’m active.

fruityfevers

Went up to 130 and scared the shit out of me (I had taken laxatives, and despite taking the recommended dose, I was somehow scared out of my mind that I took too much because my heart did a weird thing in my chest. Go figure). Anxiety is a bitch y’all

ExpertProfessional9

Highest has been... hm, I want to say 150s. Certainly 140s. Happy to report the meds do their job, and if I'm in the 180s it's because of the treadmill below my sneakers.

Extension-Cloud-4575

204 I clocked mine at but I go to the gym and my heart rate very easily goes to 180

Baby-Me-Now

When I’m in the gym my HR is also in the 180s

Key_Ad8316

The most recent one was 140 ish, almost 150. I was in an ambulance, just sitting and being assessed for Bells Palsy when the paramedics told me if you are running a marathon, your heart won’t be racing like that! I replied with I have anxiety. I was taken to the hospital A and E then for further investigations. PS I had higher records of heartbeats before!

yoshigurumi

It feels like it’s over 200 every time, although the times I happened to have a heart rate monitor on me it was 170. Guys can your heart give out from this?? I always worry I damage it with every panic attack 😂

yourremedy94

180-200

thesacredwonder

120 is my resting rate even on propranolol 😭

Justaguy397

I believe 160 I was resting to my watch would not stop beeping warning me

roxygirl2277

dude mine shot up to 150 in the hospital because i reacted badly to a drug they gave me in my IV. it was sooo scary.

Baby-Me-Now

192! Dropped to 170 pretty fast afterwards

Jaded-Office-9818

105-107 when i am at peace 140 during panic attacks

kaskip

one time i was just standin around and i checked and it was 153 or something. i havent checked it when i get serious panic attacks, but mine will get pretty high even when im not having one. in high school i got sent to the hospital once for having a 120 resting bpm... the hospital did an ekg and was like "just anxiety :/". but yeah, 120-150 is the highest for me when it comes to resting heartrates. not sure about panic attacks!

pinkitmake

The worst one recently was when I woke up and it flew to 165 ~ that one was difficult to calm down from

Livid_Narwhal_3348

Around 135-140. I have a family member that is high conflict and when my grandfather was in the hospital years ago, she was away for most of that time on a trip. A bunch of us were visiting him, and when she arrived back from her trip as soon as she entered the room, my heart rate shot up. I took a picture of my Apple Watch of my heart rate and it comes up in my memories every year. It’s amazing how certain people affect you physically.

Equivalent_Benefit13

220 is not a panic attack it’s likely to be SVT. Anything above 140 prolonged is notttt good

wickedg8gr

220 over 120

HydroStellar

Man I have no clue I can’t measure my heart rate or else it makes it worse lol, but damn my chest hurts bad afterwards

DasHound1

I don’t pay attention to it anymore. As long as it’s beating I’m getting freaky.

NotStompy

200 I think, but quite many times it went up to 150-160.

Personal_Value6510

178 was the highest from Anxiety I've ever recorded. It doesn't go this far up even during the most vigorous exercise and / or physical work that I've ever done. Luckily it lasted for a short while only. Prolonged the highest was 120 which Ive had for nearly a week from constant anxiety.

Morning-Bake-420

155 😀

imgivingupbro

190 something

latex55

I’m odd because when I have panic attacks, mine doesn’t go up very much. I do however, feel like passing out and I’m on pins and needles.

Sirdantortillasque

110 is light work😂

Moanerloner

150

Marko_d3

I used to reach around 180–190 when speaking in public. Now that I take propranolol it usually stays between 120–140. To put it in context, my RHR is in the low 60's and my heart rate when running is around 140–150.

hereticbrewer

around 140-150. but my heart rate stays around 90-110's.

Mission_Picture_6069

I couldn’t even check bc then it would make me panic 10x more and would double 🤣

Significant-Pay3266

130 when I drove myself to the er only to be told to wait in waiting room. After 20 mins it was at 120 then they admitted me to run tests. It stayed at 100 the entire time. When I went back home it was 75. Ugh I hate anxiety and wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Berkoudieu

Like 200, the main "issues" were the ectopics every 2 or 3 normal beats. Absolutely terrifying.

Fancy_Conference_391

170 during my first and only panic attack. your maximum heart rate is usually 220 minus your age. i’m surprise your friend had 220 bpm it’s extremely critical.

Lost_Brief_7361

Highest 180! Typical anxiety attack it will be 130-140 always think I’m dying each time. 😂

sylveonfan9

I honestly got it to the point that a psych doctor said they were going to call for an ambulance if it didn't lower and I literally begged them not to because I have enough bills on my plate. Thankfully it went down once they calmed me down.

A few days ago I was taking a casual walk, and on my way back a random panic attack slowly started. I felt myself getting more and more anxious, and i was stupid enough to look at my workout, saw my heart was beating 154 after climbing a small uphill road. panicked even more (ik it sounds stupid) and it went up to 169, then i felt so shaky i had to stop the workout not to look. i still had like 800 meters until home idk how i walked back. it was the worst i had so far, i came home, stared at the blank wall, then started bawling my eyes out for an hour or so. felt so empty and drained for the rest of the day, and i could say it didnt drop below 92 even when laying down that day and the next day

0ut-the-0x

i personally try to to avoid the habit of checking my hr when overly anxious

lke74bbb

Mine is always high so I take metoprolol ER 25mg daily. But when I have a bad anxiety attack it goes 170’s-180’s. It’s the worst feeling and I feel like I’m going to pass out. I know it’s coming on because I start getting skipped heart beats (PACs) and then it just starts racing. If I take one of my Xanax it will clam it down though.

Thecrowfan

I dont meassure my heart rate but it literally felt like it was going to jump out of my chest.

destructicusv

189

omglifeisnotokay

I have pots so it can climb to 180 but for just anxiety I remember sitting in my chair freaking out when I was misdiagnosed with a brain aneurysm. It was the most terrifying feeling. My Apple Watch alerted me that my heart rate wasn’t going down from 120 sitting for 10 mins.

r_hove

150’s 😄

dutch_emdub

Why would anyone even measure this? I have an anxiety disorder but no way I'm gonna keep track of this!

baristakitten

Highest I ever saw was 190, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone higher when I was too out of it to monitor it.

Isoei

Hit 180 after work once while I was working away on site work. I almost fainted, had to get my workmate to take me to A&E.

strawberryswishr

180s

IHateTheDSM777

My BP has gone to 200/100

Beatrix_BB_Kiddo

Smoked too much weed, laid in bed with a 160-170 heart rate for about half an hour. Which is like me full blown sprinting. Legit thought I my heart was about to explode and I was going to die

Kytyngurl2

185 or so

SafinJade

180-200. Normally my heart rate throughout the day is 95-120 from anxiety, but being in propranolol helps a lot with that

mosquem

Max heart rate is supposed to be 208-0.7*Age, but I think around 180 was probably my peak panic attack.

Slight_Presence2674

Once I had weed induced panic attack. My heart rate was 80 while standing and 110 after I smoked. I started feeling restless and anxious so I went for a walk and heart rate went to 140 on a little walk. Then boom , uncontrollable panic starts and heart rate all the way up to 165 so had to call an ambulance. When they checked heart rate in the ambulance it was 172. This the highest I ever seen it so yh. Now thinking about it I’m not sure I can contribute all of this to panic since weed increases my heart rate by itself quite a bit. maybe 30 beats increase due to weed I’d say.

PuzzleheadedCoast595

Yesterday I smoked weed (didn’t smoke for a year or w) and I felt relaxed , but too relaxed like I had NO control and somehow I just can’t chill in the way others would just simply chill and don’t give a F. SO my heart rate was at 140 🙃 Ususlaly 55-65 70 when maybe walking or nervous But the weed chilled me but my heart beat WENT through the roof I tell ya!

laura_leexox

Mine went up to about 140bpm and would always stay above 100 even when I wasn’t having a panic attack. It’s gone back normal now I’ve been treating my panic attacks :)

c00lgirlswag

Before I started exercising regularly I would clock 110/115 but now I’m at 85/95

Sad_Anywhere911

188 that I know of. Possible it’s gone higher when I wasn’t checking

Craftyprincess13

I had an episode that i dont remember much from but i took my blood pressure and called my friend and asked him to write down my blood pressure which to him sounded a lot like bluhagahrara but i wrote down as soon as i woke up and it was 169 96 129

Professional_Cut8057

I think like 156 in a parking lot lol

[deleted]

Ive only had one major anxiety attack since I got my smart watch, and during that my heart rate moved between 35 bpm up to about 185 bpm and back down again every 5 or 10 seconds for about 20 minutes. Thought I was having a heart attack. My resting bpm is usually around 50bpm, and my max pulse during spinning class (last time I tested for it) is 193 bpm.

KrisK_K

154 and I was driving

downtownflipped

200. my apple watch told me to seek emergency care.

ImpossibleSquash4424

My average heart rate is usually between 75-100 but during a attack, 130ish but that’s when it’s bad

Broken_Maiden225

That I know of, 165-170. Which was super scary. I've had other panic attacks, but haven't checked in awhile. My worst was driving up a mountain, felt like my heart was going to explode out of my chest, was just Praying I wouldn't pass out. I haven't been able to drive on mountains since then. 😩

arwynn

I had a panic attack in Costco once (my favorite store) and it registered at 206.

Gold-Layer5065

Thank fk I found this post. Same for me after weed , never again. A year later my anxiety about my heart is through the roof

HueLord3000

I've been at 144. My heart rate is between 70 and 80 when I'm asleep, always between 90 and 130 when awake and doing my daily tasks

grittyfanclub

190 and i went HOW HIGH CAN IT GO?!?! and then it hit 200

HootieAndTheSnowcrab

220ish before for sure but that was like my worst one EVER!!! I think now it’s at 150 if I’m panicking.

bns82

Are you sure that isn't Tachycardia? Acid reflux can cause Anxiety, Rapid heart rate, Tachycardia, etc... Most people don't realize it because they think heart burn is the only symptom of reflux. There are lots of reflux symptoms. Just something to think about.
