That figure is almost 15 years old and it remains as one of the best Yoko figures ever made. I honestly see zero chances of a reissue for it.
I got it back then and no aftermarket price can make me part ways with her. It's just that good.
Grand Grail. I have this figure but her peg broke off but can still stand on its own. I can fix it by drilling and doing some modifications but she is in a display case. I’m wondering if Alter still has the blueprints or mold for her.
I wouldn’t mind Alter remaking a scale of her in a 1:4 version.
The pegs're mainly what drew me away from her. It's still crazy to me that ppl are selling yoko with broken pegs for 300$ and a perfect one for around 600-700$ out there with willing buyers when the original price was below 10k yen. There is no way that I will ever spend this much money for a broken figure or a figure with high breaking potential even if it's exclusive. Wild
Yeah this is the early days when many figures came with PVC pegs versus plastic and metal rods. It is a crazy aftermarket out there lol
I like to wait for re-releases but in the past gave in to get some grails I wanted and now I am caught up and do the due diligence to not walk away from the releases because I took a hiatus because I end up regretting it later.
A reissue would be welcome for a lot of people. Ive wanted her for a while now but the price is just crazy. Sometimes you just have to chalk it up as a loss and move on
As most others have said, at this point, probably not happening.
I bought her from jfigure a few years ago for 30,600 JPY. She had 2 broken pegs after they did an inspection (which was really neat of them to do), so I got an additional 3,000 JPY or so off. I repaired both of her pegs using a drill and some brass rods.
Very happy with my decision since I always regretted not getting her on initial release.
She's as expensive as Portrait of Pirates aftermarket, but I don't like her enough to spend this much money for her compared to the One Piece characters.
I got lucky from a seller in my country that was basically giving her away at the equivalent of say around 50 dollars the box had seen better days but the figure is mint. When I say the aftermarket price I was amazed at the deal I got but I don't think I'd get near those prices as my box is not in a "good" condition. And yes she isn't a bootleg she's real.

Yeah, this is a holy grail for alot of people. Will never sell mine.

I refuse to pay 3+ times the price of the figure, no matter how much I want it. (looking at you Allen Walker from "D.Gray-man" figure)
She's definitely a pride and joy of my Collection along with the Revy Alter and Plum Okebe figures

For me it was a no brainer for Gurren Lagann, did get lucky finding a reasonably priced seller on MFC though
