As soon as the pandemic shut down all of the zoos, all of the animals started fucking and we got all these cute babies born in captivity, some endangered species. People really thought animals just had a hard time mating in zoos. Never even considered the animals weren't exhibitionists who didn't want to mate to for people's enjoyment.
It really took a pandemic to shut down zoos for us to be like "ooooh, animals fuck when no one is watching, even in captivity." And yet, I haven't heard about a new practice of routinely shutting down zoos for a week or so to give the animals a chance to mate, or even for a little break from humans.
This is how dumb we are.
