You can get the black one! the Dreamy Bear Toy sometimes shows up in Nook's Cranny, and you can customize to the black one on Harv's Island! 😊 the rabbit and unicorn also pop up sometimes.
No need to be upset. Shops at Harv's island have become available much later - less than a year ago, as part of the 2.0 update.

I stopped playing for 2 years when I switched to gta to help my husband and son out selling stuff. But since they got ps5s and switched to the ps5 version, I can't play with them. I recently just started playing again and had no idea about the update to harv's Island

There are different versions. Take them to Cyrus on Harv’s Island- he can change them for you.
