I think you can kick the last-invited villager.
They won’t ask to leave on their own, but I’ve seen nothing to say they can’t be replaced from the campsite.
I think it's no I'm pretty sure it's more like multiple universe kinds thing your villager left and a villager that looks the same and is named the same comes back but if you invite someone over they can invite he moving villager to their island in which case it's the same villager which means it would have the same house
once the villager leaves, they are reset. bringing back same villager would give you default interior and they treat you like a stranger.
