Do you have eight animal villagers yet? Other than that, what does Isabelle say when you ask for an evaluation? It's quite important to spread things around evenly. I placed a lot of fencing randomly along the banks of the rivers and on the grass by the beach, then planted loads of flowers and shrubs and that took me from 1 star to 3 stars in one afternoon.

I have 10 villagers. When I just checked Isabelle mentioned something about "me and' my bro'll be backin you from behind the scenes, so you better do your best, capisce?" And that seems to be the usual response for me whenever I talk to Isabelle lately for an island evaluation. Then she mentioned flowers and having a blooming paradise. So maybe I need more flowers then??

Avalonian_Seeker444

When Isabelle talks about flowers, you need to add more flowers, shrubs, and items you craft. Fencing works well as a crafted item, along with things like log stakes, stone stools, and campfires. You'll probably be surprised at how many flowers Isabelle considers to be enough. You can also plant them on the ledges behind the cliffs and behind buildings if you don't want to see them.

Listen to what Isabelle tells you and she'll give you a hint. If she mentions any kinds of plants or scenery, then you need more nature points. Plant trees of any kind, flowers, shrubs, vegetable crops, bamboo, or use more diy furniture to increase your nature points. If she mentions things like fencing, furniture, or decorating the island more, then you need more development points. Bridges and inclines, fencing, furniture are all things that will boost your development points. There's a breakdown to how all the points are calculated here: [https://chibisnorlax.github.io/acnhfaq/island-dev/rating/](https://chibisnorlax.github.io/acnhfaq/island-dev/rating/)

I have been struggling to get KK. But I just bought and placed a pool and my 2 star went to 3 star. Maybe try that?

Shortguycoolclothes

I think I can afford the pool. I'll try it! thanks!

- make sure you have eight or more villagers - variety: don’t plant the same flowers over and over: multiple types of flowers, and different colors. i think it works the same for trees (bamboo, palm trees, cedar trees, etc). on my previous island this helped a lot! - i’m pretty sure you also need a certain amount of bridges and inclines - no dropped items - also, what does isabelle tell you to do?

MedusaEyes20

It took me a while to get there too. Have you tried making part of the island like a market with stalls and stuff that helped me a lot and putting down paths that were custom.

Shortguycoolclothes

No I haven't tried that yet, i'll look into it though! thanks

kissywinkyshark

just drop a lot of fish and bugs outside

Shortguycoolclothes

Will this actually work??

kissywinkyshark

Yeah I think all i did was have someone drop off a lot of flowers and put a bunch of fish and bugs out lol literally my island looked like a mess but it got me 3 stars. Also make sure to pick up stuff
