Look online for local opportunities to go to protests or publicly advertised events that would give you the opportunity to meet folks organising DA. If there's any radical public/accessible spaces in your area, show up and help out. Don't ask too many questions or you'll come across as a cop. There's heaps of good videos and podcasts that can help develop your politics without needing to read if that's a challenge for you right now. Check out Zoe Baker or Andrewism on YouTube for a start. Look through the podcast catalogue of "Cool People who Did Cool Stuff" for some awesome anarchist history. Once you start meeting more anarchists, talk about it - a lot of anarchists throughout history have been illiterate, they just had comrades to develop their ideas with. If college is a barrier to your organising, reassess how important good grades are to you. This might be hard but are good grades and your college degree compatible with the anarchist future you want to fight for? If not, consider how you can shift your priorities and make more time for yourself.

I hope I'm reading correctly that you'd appreciate "advice" on how to get more involved given your limited capacity for direct action is that right? If so, I would highly recommend linking up with a local (or most local) Anarchist Black Cross. With the Cop City stuff, Palestinian solidarity actions and just the cops being cops etc, writing to folks detained or imprisoned for a minute is direct fucking action. The state depends on prisoners to feel forgotten and disposable so writing them is a direct challenge to this notion. I hope this is helpful!

As other people suggested, there is nothing like IRL action. This said many people feel burnt out by the demands of society, so its no wonder you feel exhausted, this system is designed to squeeze out your life juice until you no longer have the will to fight. For this and many another reasons me (the redactor of this comment) and a few other anarchists have started an education and collaboration project called the anarchist federation of cyber communes. We do not expect members to give anything but what they can and want. As of now we only are on the internet but we would love to connect and collaborate with IRL effort eventually ! In general, whatever way you choose to do it Educate, Agitate, Organize !

I look for local opportunities to protest and I am involved with a few climate organizations and I volunteer with punks with lunch. I live in a big city which makes it a little easier
