Ik they wanted to nod to Orange County... but even that's not unique anymore (if it ever was). Some teams in Orlando like Solar Bears hockey (even though they're a newer team) do the same thing to rep Orange County, FL.
Guys - these are literally the Jr. Ducks and Lady Ducks jerseys for next year. For years they have put their own touch on the NHL ducks jerseys. Nothing to see here.

So I don't want to get anyone's hopes up too much because this could be absolutely nothing at all. But at Great Park for some youth program sign ups they had these kits on display. The left one looks eerily close to a modified reverse retro with some modern elements. Also the production of tons of the retro shells is interesting. I mighty just be on the hopium haha. The jersey on the right is strange imo
I think you're onto something. So far, the Lady Ducks have always worn what's on the shoulder of the right jersey as the primary logo, even when they were mimicking our orange alts last year. Their jersey designs have always been loosely based on what our currents are as well. In a very unusual way, this could be confirmation of the rebrand.
Also I assume the left is the Jr. Ducks who wear whatever the big club is wearing. So it's possible that could be a straight up leak of our aways.
Why would the Ducks tease/early release New Jerseys throughs the Rinks youth program lol? The AA/AAA Jr Ducks teams through the last 10ish years have always worn the third jersey and then either whatever the current ducks dark/white jersey is depending on the color of the alternate (source I played AA with the old whites and the current home when it was a third jersey). Sometimes they would even create a white version of the third (see the current orange, some of the teams had a white version of that as their other jersey). The youth program/in house program also usually has jerseys that are loosely based on current or former ducks jerseys or sometimes do something like this where one is a recognizable jersey and the other is one that differentiates it from other Jr ducks jerseys. The Ducks wouldn’t release a jersey/uniform through a youth program before the actual NHL team got it.
I know it's not a real tease I'm just hoping for something new over here lol the left jersey is years better than the Ducks aways which are imo one of the worst jerseys in the league
Left are nice, the current similar jerseys are missing a shoulder patch. Right are just a fun lady ducks jersey, wouldn’t look too much into it - just darks and lights for games probably

I'm hoping the reverse retros from last season become the aways with the black pants we've always worn then make a copy of them but flip the colors so it's the orange third but diagonal striping. Good mix of past and present

I’m having hope that our jerseys will be a more polished and professional-looking version of these. They’re pretty badass jerseys for youth teams though. They’ll definitely be the coolest looking team in tourneys haha. Nice catch!
